08/05 – 190.0 - starting again. I’ve gained 5 pounds, but kept 10 off. I’ll be working on C25K three days a week. Signing up for a 5K on Oct. 26.
08/06 – 188.9 – good start. Recorded all food, no alcohol, drank all my water, and did first day of C25K.
08/07 – 187.6 – so excited. I’m sure this won’t continue as fast, but I need to keep recording. No exercise yesterday, but I did stand more at my desk.
08/08 – 187.0 – Getting back down to where I was a few months ago. Recorded all food, no alcohol, drank all my water, and did the second day of C25K.

8/1 119.5 Did beef and butter fast yesterday in support of my daughter. I really don’t want to lose more weight. Will see how these 3 days go. Going to the gym and the pool today and sewing.

08/01 - 200.4 - Been sitting at ~200 for weeks now. Eat a pretty consistent 2300 calories 5-6 days a week and do quite a bit of HIIT cardio + lifting.
08/02 - 201.2 - Not surprised at all..ate a bit more than usual.
08/03 -198.4 - Ehh..went out to drink that night and threw up a lot so lost a lot of water weight.
08/04 - 207 - There we go...recovering from hangover and ate a lot.

This round might be a little rough, my birthday, my husband’s new job/schedule, and my usual pre-tom water weight stall fall in this round. I have pre-planned my birthday to stay on track, but sadly there is little I can do about hormones, or work schedules, so I’ll just have to stay on track and wait.
8/1 303.0 A nice start to the round. I’m hopeful of getting down a little more before the tom stall starts.
8/2 302.0 I wasn’t expecting this drop. I did extra weights yesterday and thought I would have a bounce or maintain. This makes a total of 80 pounds lost this year and I’m inching ever closer toward my next goal.
8/3 301.6 The trick this weekend is to stay on track even with my birthday tomorrow. We have a little extra money and it’s hard not to say let’s just go out. But I’m only two pounds from my next big goal and while I won’t make it there tomorrow I know that I will soon.
8/4 304.8 So for my birthday I got a 3.2 pound gain of water weight. I’ve been on track so I know that it has to be a water bounce from some source or another. I’ll be back down whenever this is passes.
8/5 304.2 I stayed on track and mostly on plan yesterday. I ate into my activity calories by 100 to have a cupcake that my daughter insisted had to be bought for me.
Because I was up yesterday I took the plunge and weighed at an earlier time that works better for the new household schedule. It’s all good though and while I didn’t account for a bounce up I knew this round would see some trouble with losing. Thankfully I don’t have anything else major happening until the end of the month so once tom comes the weight will go.
8/6 305.2 Wrong way again. I’ve had this happen before and it’s a matter of waiting it out because afterwards I have several big drops. I’m on track, though a little carb heavy last night , so I know that this is temporary.
8/7 304.8 I’m staying on track with calories, my food plan not so much. It’s okay though it’s more important to me to stay on track calorie wise than macro wise. The cravings for chocolate will pass. Tom, if on time, should show up in the next few days.

08/01: 317.7 (-1.6) ... starting to recover from my recent uptick.
08/02: 316.1 (-1.6) ... more uptick recovery. This is where I should have been at the end of last round, sigh.
08/03: 314.9 (-1.2) ... back down to my previous low from last week.
08/04: 314.8 (-0.1) ... new low, barely.
08/05: 315.2 (+0.4) ... as far as fluctuations go, this is pretty minor. I was pretty lazy this past weekend due to being sick. That ends now - took a six mile bike ride and a one mile walk before work today.
08/06: 314.8 (-0.4) ... to be honest, I'd be happy enough if I just maintained this weight for the rest of the challenge.
08/07: 313.1 (-1.7) ... feeling good this morning! Completed the first day of the Couch to 5k program.
08/08: 313.5 (+0.4) ... VERY happy about this. Yesterday I didn't think to weigh myself until after my run, and I figured most of the loss was through sweat and that I'd rebound hard today.

8/1 No Scale Didn't exercise yesterday but I should have time tonight. I did stay within calories and not too bad on sodium - even got in more water than I normally do on travel days. Probably won't exercise tomorrow unless the weather cooperates enough to get in an evening walk after the four-hour drive. I'm enjoying my time with the BF. He's back on the road next week, so I will savor this time.
8/2 No Scale Walked/hiked three after work then went to dinner. It's very hard not to overeat at a tapas place with a Spanish boyfriend. He wants to try everything! I am not complaining just stating reality Obviously, I had to do some serious estimations when I logged it but I think I did ok. The good thing is you only eat half of anything and there are loads of veggies. My favorite were these fried plantains chips with black beans and chimichurri. I wish I knew the exact numbers on them, I'd go back just for those. Happy Friday everyone. Hug 'em if you got 'em
8/3 167.4 I’m fine with this. Driving yesterday and not exercising, eating at weird times, and this after spending two days eating every meal with a well-intentioned BF. I’m pretty happy today. I just finished walking 5 miles and I’m taking my recovering friend to lunch and grocery shopping.
8/4 169.0 WTH? It has to be water cause I didn't eat enough calories to gain 1.6 pounds overnight. It's just the roller coaster doing its thing.
8/5 169.0 OK, still the dang roller coaster. I walked 3 last night and had a mug cake for dessert after. That's 350 calories not enough to gain 1.6 pounds. Since I'm on the roller coaster, I suppose I have to roll with it. Gym or walking tonight??? Probably the gym since I didn't make it one-night last week. Let's take Monday by the horns.
8/6 168.1 Better. I did not go to the gym or walk. Too many errands after work, then it was too late to walk. I could have gone to the gym late but it literally just occurred to me. When I was done with everything at 8:00 it was too late to walk (it would be dark before I got done) but I could have taken my lazy butt to the gym. OK. Lesson learned. I had this idea in my head that I could only go to the gym after work. That's dumb. My gym is open 24 hours. Monday got the best of me yesterday, but Tuesday will be MINE!
8/7 169.0 Why oh Why must the roller coaster go up??? I'm sure it's sodium and weight lifting water retention. I just want to be down by the end of the round. I did go to the gym last night and if the rain slows down I'll walk on the trail tonight, if not I'll go to the gym with an indoor track. Better that than the dreadmill. It's rainy and cold here this morning. Despite my umbrella, the sideway rain soaked me on the walk from the car to the office. I literally had to dry my arms off with paper towels. The bottom foot of my pants are soaked along with the right leg. Workout clothes in the car, but not really bank attire
8/8 167.5 Feeling the wind in my hair as the coaster goes back down... I walked 3 miles, got a little overheated (stupid humidity). Had to stop at the store on the way home, legs felt like they weighed 1,000 pounds each. Heat and MS ain't no joke folks. I went home, my roommate cooked dinner, I ate and went to bed. When I woke up I felt great. Happily, it's cooled off and the high is only 78 for today. Hoping to walk between rain showers. Two days to see a loss in this Round. I am going to watch my sodium. Even if I don't hit my goal if I'm down I feel like I've accomplished something.12 -

08/01 140, I can’t believe this is my 20th round! Took a barre class yesterday and made it through. It was like hot barre because the weather in Maui is so warm so my Fitbit showed 100 calories more burned than a usual barre class. Heading to a tennis lesson. I’m always very positive at the beginning of a month and despite 5-6 lbs being difficult to get to in a month with 20 lbs to go, it’s not impossible with good choices
08/02 140, stayed the same, but need to drink more. I had 92 ounces, but still work up thirsty. Humidity is no joke especially if you aren’t used to it.
08/03 139.9, slow and steady but great to see a number in the 130s. I head back home on Monday, so have a few days left to get back to normal routine before the end of the round.
08/04 139.8, I’ve been eating really well and drinking less alcoholic beverages than usual (all the drinks here are really sugary and with it being so hot, been drinking almost exclusively water). I’m hoping to see a drop after the 7th (first full day back), because I’m a bit confused why haven’t dropped more this week unless it’s water retention.
08/05 139.8, weight from this morning. Just landed from 6 hour flight and didn’t eat very well and didn’t exercise so hoping not too much fallout tomorrow. My TOM is Wednesday so still optimistic a lot of the weight I may gain over the next few days will be water weight and can end round at or closer to 138.5
08/06 139.9, back home and will be back on schedule today food and exercise wise.
08/07 139.8, didn’t sleep well last night, but should be back to normal tomorrow.

Starting over AGAIN. Was fortunate throughout much of my life to be naturally thin. After two kids, was carrying around an extra 10 pounds. Lost those 10 pounds three years ago with MFP. Surprisingly, wasn’t as hard as I thought with careful MFP logging and exercise. In the intervening three years have let those 10 pounds+ creep back up with working much longer hours, focus on kids, much less formal exercise and not being careful at all with eating (i.e., too much junk food and snacking generally). Clothes don’t fit anymore and feel blah generally. Have tried a week here and a week there, but no real commitment to make a meaningful change. Going to try again now. Trick the first time was the game aspect - wearing Fitbit to see steps add up / logging food and then weighing daily as the “reward” for good habits. Set up now to do all three again this time. Started last week, and saw one pound down over the course of the week. With not too much to lose generally and being older, figure one pound a week is all I can hope for without being reckless (don’t want unsustainable short term success resulting in long term failure). Just one pound per week already has me on 1200 calories per MFP. Fingers crossed and hope my will power stays strong. The beginning is the hardest part!

08/06 152.3 had a great time at the lake. Went for a morning jog each day. No internet so tracking food was a lot of guess work especially because my lovely mother in law did all the amazing cooking. Beer seems to taste so much better at the cabin but I limited myself to one light beer a day. I was so happy to jump on the scale today and see that commitment to my goals paid off.

I am a returnee! Hopefully, this time I will get to my initial goal of 170. Of course, I now have an extra 5 lbs to lose which I had regained since my last round14 -
I’m in going for my 2nd round. My first ten day round had a lot of traveling/camping. These next ten days will be more structured.
My goal this round is to cut out sugar and cut back on gluten, continue drinking 100 oz water per day, get at least 20 minutes of cardio per day, and get enough sleep.

08/05 …..198.8 ….. Just happy to be holding steady. Too many carbs yesterday on my busy Sunday. Grab & go as I cleaned cabins & not enough water. Returning guest in #6 made me a big breakfast including biscuits & gravy. Today will be busy but not so frenzied. Prepped food thawing for dinner. Yesterday’s stats: 2144 Calories In / 3086 Calories Out. 109 Net Carbs. 20,721 Total Steps & 8.77 total miles. I rigorously cleaned cabins for 98 minutes, did general cabin laundry. Some yard work & yard clean-up. I ended the day with a short 10 minute aerobics session. 13/13 fitbit step hours & I slept 5 hours & 19 minutes totally exhausted. Feel pretty good today. Cabin cleaning, yard work, painting projects in the cabins will keep me busy. I hope to get in a walk this evening in my neighborhood. Have a great week everyone!

I slept 5 hours & 13 minutes making it two days in a row over 5 hours so I am thrilled with that. I took a nice 30 minute neighborhood walk with neighbor. I will be going to the Hairdresser today for some highlights mixed into the grays. Prepped food is ready & I will work hard to stay on plan today.
08/07 …..196.0 ….. Whoosh! There it is. Great day yesterday. Walked twice. Once for 67 minutes, once for 54 minutes so that probably helped. Also, an extra low calorie day that MFP scolded me on. Yesterday’s stats: 902 Calories In / 2657 Calories Out. 18 Net Carbs. 19,242 Total Steps & 8.14 Total Miles. 12/13 Fitbit Step Hours (missed one during hair appointment) & I slept 4 hours & 41 minutes. I've exceeded my 2 lb goal (loss) this round. Now, just to preserve it!
08/08 …..195.8 ….. Happy to see it continue downward. Need more water. Slipped up & had a bit of Sherbet yesterday, otherwise pretty good day for food & moderate exercise. Yesterday’s Stats: 1688 Calories In / 2682 Calories Out. 61 Net Carbs. 13,553 Total Steps & 5.74 Total Miles. 12/13 Fitbit Step Hours. I slept 4 hours & 42 minutes. I have been sleeping better lately with more nights in or near the 5 hour range. I’m not sure why but I’m loving it. I walked twice yesterday at a moderate pace which burned a total of 194 extra calories. The second walk was the longest & I went because of the sherbet. Tomorrow I would like to take my new girlfriend to the local fish fry. She loves fish but struggles financially. I would love to buy her dinner as she is always helpful to me when I need it. Last time I went I did incredibly well with bringing much of it home to my son.

Round 85 Goals:
- Practice push-ups every day. I want to be able to do at least 5 on my toes without stopping by the end of August.
- 3 tumblers of water at work/day, 3 workouts/week, and 3 times walking around the neighborhood.
- Nearly every night I have a little sweet snack after we put the kid to bed...it usually fits into my calories, but I'm wondering if I really need it or if it's just a habit. I want to try to not have a late night sweet 5/10 days this round.

08/01 - 146.8 I seem to have a very special ability to get a nice low weight on the first day of a round, so that it's hard to compare back to at the end! But I jest, I'm not complaining about any loss. Especially because yesterday I gave into those fast food cravings for lunch - but also made time for two back-to-back classes at the gym (a kettlebell/HIIT style class and a tough kickboxing class), tracked all the food and had a reasonable dinner, so it didn't throw off all my progress. Also, besides a couple of lunches out with coworkers, this is the first time I've bought food for lunch since May!
Now that we're in a new month, I'm done with the distractions of July and setting my sights on our beach trip at the end of the month. It was on our Labor Day beach trip last year that I realized how uncomfortable I felt in my body and that I wanted to make changes. So I'm very excited for the changes I've already made, and for the progress I know I can make in the next month. And that starts with this round!
08/02 - 145.6 Well that's 3 Fridays in a row seeing a 145 on the scale! The last two weeks I've gone up over the weekend, so I'm determined not to let that happen this time! Yesterday was good: I had a lot of water, ate soup for lunch and walked to some stores instead of driving, and I made a salad for dinner and packed another serving for my lunch today. I completed 8 continuous inclined pushups on my desk at work, and also a few at home on the kitchen counter. Also no late night dessert!
08/03 - 143.6 Well. Well. What. **NEW LOW**

I checked like 6 times to make sure this wasn’t a mistake! I doubt it’ll stick around, but a pretty good feeling to know something was working “behind the scenes” even when I didn’t see that on the scale every day. Yesterday was actually closer to maintenance calories than deficit, so I wasn’t expecting this at all!

08/05 - 146.0 Well I guess I felt like I had some extra room to eat after that big drop on Saturday morning, so my weekend wasn't quite as on point as I wanted it to be, but still happy with where I am this morning! And I did some prep to set myself up for success this week: salad lunches packed, water bottles filled, going to the gym tonight and healthy dinners prepped. I'm going out of town Thursday evening, so I'm not sure if I'll be able to weigh in on the last 2 days, so I'd like to hit my goals before then!
08/06 - 144 Whoosh! Ok, that feels better! Yesterday was on track with my eating (no LNS!) and went to the gym for a conditioning and boxing workout. I worked hard, but still came home to practice my push-ups - feeling a little bit stronger already!
08/07 - 144.4 Normal fluctuation. Proud of myself for not throwing in the towel with dinner last night. I was making chicken enchilada zucchini boats (from SkinnyTaste), which I've made before and know that we liked, but they are more involved than some of the other recipes I make on weeknights. So we ended up eating kind of late, but it was really tasty. I made a note in my recipe app that this one needs some shortcuts or prep work in the future. And now we have a couple of days of leftovers available! But I got in my water, didn't have a snack after dinner, and practiced my push-ups. I was able to do 5 on my toes with breaks in between!
08/08 - 145 Some more upward movement which could be normal (TOM starting), could be the result of some poor decisions yesterday. But I refuse to be bummed about a weight that (up until last week), I hadn't seen on the scale in 3 years! Tuesday setbacks: ate fast food for lunch since I was craving it (as is typical for my TOM) and running errands and stayed up WAY late packing for my trip today. 3 hours of sleep does not make me feel super. Tuesday positives: didn't snack after that fast food, was able to squeeze in a weight lifting workout at the gym, ate healthy leftovers, and practiced a few inclined push-ups. Also NSV: in packing for the trip, I dug out several old shorts that I haven't attempted to try to wear in a few years. THEY FIT! And they're coming on vacation with me!

08/01 – 163.6 – Had a pretty good day yesterday except for the salt/sweet pecans in the evening which did me in. Today is a planning day – setting priorities for this fall/winter as I look at what needs to get done for us to move in the spring. Should be motivational for weight loss but sometimes that backfires with me. I’ve found setting goals can freak me out and I just head for the metaphorical woods screaming which undermines everything I’m trying to do. Incorporating small habit changes works better but they still need to have some plan/focus.

OK, I seriously considered fibbing about this. But I did not gain 2.8 pounds overnight, so this is water. Still, though, terrifying. But I'm serious now -- new month, new plan, new goals, new attitude. I'm also going to aim for no evening snacks. I've been eating way too many calories between 9-11 pm. If my cat will let me, I think I'll knit to keep my hands occupied. If he won't, I'll sit on them. If I don't have a downward trend over the next 10 day, please, someone, kick my butt.

08/01: 228.8 (-0.4)/19.5 (-0.1). First day back, tracked all my food, and was under calories by a bit. So far, so good. I may try to hit the gym today, but if not today, tomorrow for sure.
08/02: 229.0 (+0.2)/19.5 (0.0). It took me one day to remember one of the main reasons why getting healthy and fit can be a challenge. Wife and I got take-out last night, and she picked up the food. I ordered EXACTLY what I wanted, and she decided to order 510 calories worth of food that I didn't ask for. It's hard for me to say no when it's in front of me. I would have been just about at my calorie goal otherwise.
08/03: 228.4 (-0.6)/19.4 (-0.1). Didn't eat particularly well yesterday, especially in the evening, but did better with portion control than I have recently (little steps). I had a couple of glasses of delicious red wine with dinner, and a healthy little snack in the evening. But my wife is gone for the next three days, so I should be able to get a nice jump-start/boost into my weight loss. I'm also headed to the gym as soon as I'm finished posting; I'll let you all know how it goes in my post tomorrow!
08/04: 230.4 (+2.0)/19.6 (+0.2). Hmm. I went to the gym yesterday, and I felt better than I have in a long time. Ate within my calories... didn't even eat back my exercise calories... and I'm up 2.0 lbs. If I take a snapshot of the last 24 hours it makes no sense. But if I think about my eating the two days prior, I get it. Consequences seem to occur a day or two later than I expect them to. I had did well yesterday, and I'll focus on having a good day today as well.
08/05: 229.8 (-0.6)/19.5 (-0.1). I ate better most of the day, but went to a birthday party in the evening. I generally did a good job with portion control, but missed my calorie goal by about 150.
08/06: 230.2 (+0.4)/19.6 (+0.1). This weigh-in was maddening (at first). I didn't get it. I was good yesterday, ALL DAY LONG. How the hell do I gain weight when I'm GOOD!?!? I think I know the answer. Because. I've had an up-and-down first challenge, and, for the most part, I've hit my calorie goal at about a 50% clip, including two days where I had 2+ drinks. I also know that, in the past, there's no linear relationship between what I do (or eat) in a day and the following day's weigh-in. I forget sometimes how important it is to look for trends, no matter how much I know this. I'm going to try to finish strong; my adjusted goal for the challenge is to lose a total of 0.2 lbs, which would mean losing 1.2 lbs over the next four weigh-ins.
08/07: 228.6 (-1.6)/19.4 (-0.2). That's better... a WHOOSH! This challenge has been filled with a lot of "ups," so it's nice to finally have a little bit of a "down" when reading the scale. I was under my calorie goal again yesterday; that part of things seems to be getting easier. I'm able to say "no" to things like french fries and sweets, where I have had serious difficulty with either previously. When the wife and I order out, I'm EXPLICIT about what I would like, what I DO NOT want (she likes to add a cookie or side she is buying FOR ME without asking), and how I'm NOT going to graze on anything she has left over (another bad habit of mine). I love being accountable, as much as I hate it. It feels like it's been a roller-coaster ride this so far, but it's so nice to be able to look back over the week and think about areas in which I can improve. I'm feeling really motivated to finish off this challenge in a strong way. I also talked with a co-worker yesterday, who decided I HAVE TO get more cardio in (I like to lift weights, but I hate cardio). I'm going to commit, every time I go to the gym, to either 30 minutes on the elliptical (steady state) or doing an HIIT workout on the elliptical. I'm also going to work basketball back into my schedule. I'm aiming eventually to go twice per week, but I'll start with one for a while. I will be in the gym tonight.
Two side notes - 1) I finished GOT last night (not sure how I feel about the ending yet), and 2) I've been in these challenges before, but under a different name. I felt like I had to change things up in order to get some traction, so I deleted my old MFP account.
08/08: 225.8 (-3.0)/19.1 (-0.5). Another WHOOSH!!!. Sometimes they just seem to happen when you need them, and I am REALLY happy it happened during my first challenge. Have I been perfect? No, not at all. Have I been working really hard? Yes. I really have. I deserve this today. Slightly over calories last night, and did not make it to the gym, but ate REALLY healthy.

@geauxtigerlily I have to remind myself of that exact attitude sometimes. When I start to get frustrated that the scale moves so slowly compared to how fast it used to move when I had an extra 40 pounds on me, I have to remind myself that I would have killed to be in the low 140's 6 months ago. Actually a year ago when I started this weight loss adventure my goal was 145 and I am lower than that now. I have actually changed my goal numerous times since then. if anything this has definitely taught me patience, lol.10

Back again! Saw 141.7 last round once so I would like to get back down to that this round. Goals are to stay under 145.0 and drop my 10 day average again. I would also like to see a new low, but the last round I dropped 4 pounds and bounced around a lot. So this round I would be happy just to stabilize at 141/142.

08/01- 143.7 still holding onto Tuesday nights date night. Was hoping I would drop, but still hanging out here. Was on track all day yesterday and so far today I have been good. I have dinner planned tonight and we will be watching the first football game of the season, so should be relaxing for the most part.
08/02- 142.2 this is more where I thought I should have been the last couple of days. My 5 day average is the lowest it has been and maybe I will hit a new low tomorrow on my "official weigh in day". Last Saturday I weighed in at 141.7, so we will see what it says tomorrow. Dinner is in the crock pot and planned and so far today I have been on track. Took my daughter (my middle child) to go and register for her senior year of high school and get her schedule. Can't believe I will have another one graduating this year.
08/03- 142.2 way to many beers last night again. I have to get it together. I have done that twice now this week. I pretty much drank my calories last night, which is not doing anything for my weight loss. Had a good time, but isn’t going to help me lose these last couple of pounds and get into the 130’s. Water, water, no alcohol, and eat right today and maybe I will see a drop by Monday.
08/04- 142.2 Holding steady. Going to see Hobbs and Shaw with the hubby today and probably grab some lunch. We have to do a couple of maintenance things around the house this morning and buy a new lawn mower. So hopefully I can stay on tack and start getting it together.
08/05- 144.6 did not keep it together at all yesterday. Food was spot on, but had a couple of drinks at the movies and then a couple of more at dinner after the movies. I think I am replacing food with liquor. I am trying really hard not to snack and instead I am noticing I am drinking more. We did not buy popcorn or candy while at the movies because I didn't want the extra calories, but instead ended up drinking my beers faster and having more than normal. So this week I am going to have to switch something up.
08/06- 144.0 was on track all day yesterday. Still up from Sunday and Fridays shenanigans, but should be back down by tomorrow. Looking to finish this round strong, but have had numerous days where I was slacking and less days that I was working in this 10 day challenge. So I am trying to change that now. 4 days left to get back to 141 and it's easily doable if I stick to it and not mess up the next couple of days.
08/07- 142.1 Back down again. On track for today and meals are planned. Looking to drop again tomorrow, but we will see what happens. I never know anymore what that stupid scale will say in the am, lol. If I can hang out at around 141.xx for the rest of the challenge and stabilize I will be happy.
08/08- 142.1 I was expecting to be lower this morning, but I am the same. Usually I have a 3 pounds difference in my weight from when I weigh at night and the next morning. Last night I weighed 144.0, so I should have been 141.xx, but obviously I didn't. Was on track all day and have everything planned today. Happy with my progress and looking to finish up the round strong!

08/01: 202.8 . First day ever doing this, tracked all my food, and was under calories by a lot. So far, so good. Getting comfortable with it slowly but surely.
08/02: 202.0 even with the struggle of hanging out watching the dodger game. Limiting myself to only a few lower calorie beers. Few chips and salsa. And nothing else, I was able to stay under my calorie count by a small amount. Really only because I worked out hard enough before so I could have those yummy things.
08/03: 201.6. Going in the right direction. Stayed under my calories for the day. Had a great workout. Got all my water in plus some. Getting into a rhythm to get me where I want to be. Yay!!
08/04: 202.8. OOPPSS WRONG WAY! didn’t have a strong day yesterday. Had a girls day and enjoyed myself. Today is a new day and back on track. I’m going to get rid of that pound I gained and some!
08/05: 202.4. Not what I wanted or expected. I know I have a lot of water weight going on. Had a great day yesterday with exercise. Plenty of water. And stayed under my calories. This heat has me retaining water. Or at least that’s what I’ll keep telling myself.
08/06: 202.0. Not where I want to be.. but on my way! Had a great day yesterday stayed within my calories without starving myself. Plenty of water. And had a great workout. I love being back in the gym. No stopping me now... hopefully.
08/07: 200.8 is this for real?? A little accountability and motivation can truly go a long way. Finding myself again mentally and physically are showing me i can reach the goals I have set for myself. I’m not allowing anyone to get in my way. And even when good food and drinks are dangled in my face. I don’t turn them down I just limit myself and portion my food. I have found enjoyment in the gym again and even being there by myself I push myself. There is no greater enemy than the person staring back at me in the mirror. I can’t wait to keep this journey going!
08/08: 199.6. Getting there! Yesterday I didn’t feel like i had a “great” day. But it wasn’t horrible. Didn’t get as much gym time as I wanted but every little but helps to keep me on track. Food choices were ok. But dinner for someone’s bday had me really paying attention to what was going into my body.

1: DNW Was in a hurry to get out the door this morning, and we're out of town until tomorrow night. I did ok with food today. I have a huge deficit because we did a lot of walking, but my carbs were high. I've got plans for a Jucy Lucy tomorrow, so I've got plan my day around that. Lots of walking again though!
