08/01 130.6 Great start to the round!
08/02 131.2 Water retention, maybe. My doctor prescribed IV fluids because I'm not doing well, and yesterday's IV pumped me full of salt, plus I had a craving for even more salt and ate two bowls of popcorn. I'm too far into this journey to freak out over the numbers bouncing around from day to day. At less than 10 lbs from goal (!) I should really be more focused on muscling up a bit rather than weight loss, but I'm starting out pretty weak and tired and finding it tough to get started.
08/03 131.2 Maintaining is good, no complaints.
08/04 131.2 Low energy and slept a lot yesterday- so much for the IV boosting my energy! Salt loaded at the end of the night, hope it makes a difference. At least I'm maintaining!

08/01 -133.4 lbs. - Going to start walking everyday again as well as logging everything. My 10 yr old suggested doing a monthly challenge again, he chose squats this month lol I think heβs secretly trying to kill me....
08/02 132.6 stayed in my calories yesterday and got my steps in. Donβt know why I always dread going for my walks or a workout when I always feel better afterwards... have to try to change my mindset on that one.
08/03 131.2 got my steps, drank lots of water, and stayed in my calorie goal yesterday, keeping up with the squat challenge, my legs are sore!
08/04 132.8 I didnβt get my steps, went out for dinner with another couple, ate salty fried food and drank a few beers, not terribly over cals but the proof is in the pudding. Back at it today.

08/01: 228.8 (-0.4)/19.5 (-0.1). First day back, tracked all my food, and was under calories by a bit. So far, so good. I may try to hit the gym today, but if not today, tomorrow for sure.
08/02: 229.0 (+0.2)/19.5 (0.0). It took me one day to remember one of the main reasons why getting healthy and fit can be a challenge. Wife and I got take-out last night, and she picked up the food. I ordered EXACTLY what I wanted, and she decided to order 510 calories worth of food that I didn't ask for. It's hard for me to say no when it's in front of me. I would have been just about at my calorie goal otherwise.
08/03: 228.4 (-0.6)/19.4 (-0.1). Didn't eat particularly well yesterday, especially in the evening, but did better with portion control than I have recently (little steps). I had a couple of glasses of delicious red wine with dinner, and a healthy little snack in the evening. But my wife is gone for the next three days, so I should be able to get a nice jump-start/boost into my weight loss. I'm also headed to the gym as soon as I'm finished posting; I'll let you all know how it goes in my post tomorrow!
08/04: 230.4 (+2.0)/19.6 (+0.2). Hmm. I went to the gym yesterday, and I felt better than I have in a long time. Ate within my calories... didn't even eat back my exercise calories... and I'm up 2.0 lbs. If I take a snapshot of the last 24 hours it makes no sense. But if I think about my eating the two days prior, I get it. Consequences seem to occur a day or two later than I expect them to. I had did well yesterday, and I'll focus on having a good day today as well.

8/1 - 212.7 Water weight from the vacation is starting to go. I am still bloated from all of the foods I ate on vacation that I was sensitive to. I am very proud of myself for how quickly I got back to my normal eating and I haven't let the vacation derail the habits I had prior to going on vacation. Goal for today is a lot of water. Trainer tonight.
8/2 -212.3 Still losing vacation water weight, but I am also sore from my workout yesterday. Happy that I was able to get 98g of protein in yesterday and I did not snack a lot considering yesterday was my first day back at work after three weeks off and I had a lot of things to catch up with. Still getting over jet lag, but at least I woke up at 3am today instead of 1am, hopefully I will be over the jet lag over the weekend. My goal today is to keep getting my water in and to not stress eat. Today is a rest day.
8/3 -211.8 This morning I went out for my first run in over 3 weeks and it felt great...2 miles done. Got 122 g of protein yesterday. Still sore from my weight training from 2 days ago. Yesterday evening I realized that I was mindlessly snacking, that is something I need to work on. Going to see my nutritionist today.
8/4 -212.3 Feeling bloated today. Knee is sore, I assume it's from my run yesterday. I may go to the gym today, but it depends on how my knees feel after I do some foam rolling and stretching.

08/01: 132 Good. Still coming down from my upward blip at the end of last round!
08/02: 131 Excellent. Now my round goal weight doesn't look so crazy. However, it will be a light 3 days of exercise. I had a biopsy today, so exercise is limited to walking (with no vigorous arm swings!) Also trying to avoid the carby snacks calling me!
08/03: 131 π Slightly light calorie day yesterday cause I wasn't hungry at dinner. Went for a short walk with an ice pack stuffed in my sports bra. That's one way to beat the heat! π

08/01 β 163.6 β Had a pretty good day yesterday except for the salt/sweet pecans in the evening which did me in. Today is a planning day β setting priorities for this fall/winter as I look at what needs to get done for us to move in the spring. Should be motivational for weight loss but sometimes that backfires with me. Iβve found setting goals can freak me out and I just head for the metaphorical woods screaming which undermines everything Iβm trying to do. Incorporating small habit changes works better but they still need to have some plan/focus.

1: DNW Was in a hurry to get out the door this morning, and we're out of town until tomorrow night. I did ok with food today. I have a huge deficit because we did a lot of walking, but my carbs were high. I've got plans for a Jucy Lucy tomorrow, so I've got plan my day around that. Lots of walking again though!
2: DNW Out of town. Getting ready to take a nice long walk around one of the many lakes in Minneapolis. Food is planned out for the day with some wiggle room even before Fitbit gives me an extra calorie allowance.

08/01: 202.8 . First day ever doing this, tracked all my food, and was under calories by a lot. So far, so good. Getting comfortable with it slowly but surely.
08/02: 202.0 even with the struggle of hanging out watching the dodger game. Limiting myself to only a few lower calorie beers. Few chips and salsa. And nothing else, I was able to stay under my calorie count by a small amount. Really only because I worked out hard enough before so I could have those yummy things.
08/03: 201.6. Going in the right direction. Stayed under my calories for the day. Had a great workout. Got all my water in plus some. Getting into a rhythm to get me where I want to be. Yay!!
08/04: 202.8. OOPPSS WRONG WAY! didnβt have a strong day yesterday. Had a girls day and enjoyed myself. Today is a new day and back on track. Iβm going to get rid of that pound I gained and some!
