    September Loss - ??

Thoughts: The amped up game plan is paying off on the scale! Trend Weight looks flat-lined and the projected weight is headed in wrong direction, but since these are based on averages, it will start pulling back down.

Yesterday was supposed to be day 3 of my 3 days of training / 1 rest day. I'll just pick up here and do 4/1 to get back on track. I made it past 11am 2 days this week as I move towards a16:8 IF. These two changes seem to be working and I saw a steady loss all week. We'll see if continues this week

I just did my grocery shopping with an eye to a 2 week meal plan. So we'll see how that goes.

September Game Plan & Goals: (Use stats from Fitbit 7 Day Summary)
    • Move to 2-week meal plans 👀
    • Log meals & exercise daily in MFP
    • Focus on daily 500 calorie deficit goal
    • No calorie intake after 8pm.
    • No calorie intake before 10am, edging towards noon for a 16:8 IF
    • Hit Fitbit step goal of 5000 - 3979 ⬆
    • Hit active minutes goal of 20 minutes daily - 28 ⬆
    • Hit strength training goal of 3 days on & 1 rest day Ready for Round 3

    Strength Training: (with accelerated reps)
    • 9/1-4 - 20, 25, 30, Rest ✔
    • 9/5-7 - 30, 35, Rest ✔
    • Next: 9/8-12 - 35, 40, 45, 50, Rest

I will be weighing daily, it keeps me accountable and motivated and shows trends.
    Starting weight October 28.18 - 191
August goal was 155 (Same as July goal) - lost 1.4 pounds for the month of August, lost 2.0 pounds in the month of July lost 0.7 pounds in the month of June. Slow going, but going. 4.1 pounds lost in 3 months, but 30 lost in 10 months so happy with that. It would be great to have lost 40 by October 28.19 - 2 months to lose 10 pounds, a girl can hope ; - )
    September goal 153
    Ultimate goal is 115

    September 01 - 158.6
September 02 - 160.2 - Holiday weekend festivities caught up with me a bit. Hopefully I can get rid of that in a few days. Gained 1.6 in 1 day, took me almost 2 months to lose that much. It comes back way faster than I can lose it.
September 03 - 161.7 - ouch. I am sure that tomorrow will be better.
September 04 - 159.6 - still up, but heading in the right direction
September 05 - 159.3 - I will try to get in extra workouts today.
    September 06 - 159.8
September 07 - 159.7 - So the first week of the month is a bit of a bust so far, but I am determined to push through.
September 08 - 159.5 - I have been really "good", so am hoping to get out of the Gain column and into the Loss column soon.

Oh my Trina, so sorry to hear about your diagnosis. I am glad that they caught it early, that makes a difference.
My sister went through that about 18 months ago and it looks like they got it all.

    September 24th is soon.
You seem to be handling this pretty well. Please keep checking in with us.

Smaller fat loss goal since I am strength training and aiming at recomposition rather than strictly weight loss.

I'm just now realizing the two challenges. I'd like to stay with what's been working for me for the past few months. I think she was just trying to help,...it did help me begin my September goal. Have a good month all. Cheers to losing :)

@kmfeig87 - we are all hoping for the outcome to match the prognosis. I'm sure you will let us know the good news, and yeah -- you have to be ok with whatever the scale does for a couple months because these are big changes. Look behind you at the last year; you've done well on your journey. This should just be a hiccup.

Well I did well in 2018, then lost my weigh/way in 2019 for a variety of reasons.
But the facts are MFP really worked so I am back. And yes Samantha we all depend on this thread. I went right to my bookmarks and pulled your thread up. Nice to see many who were on here in 2018 still are.

Highest weight ever when I joined in May 2018 305
Current 250, sad to say I gained 16 back of the 79 I did lose. But that is coming off and lots more to boot.
First big goal 195, then will decide the endgoal.

    I am 61 years old. Shrunk a tad so now 5ft 8.5, opposed to 5ft 9

    September starting weight 9/7/2019 250.4
Goal for September lose 6.4 lbs so get to 244
I weigh in on Saturday mornings, but admit I weigh myself daily first thing in the morning.

    9/7 250.4
    9/14
    9/21
    9/28

    Total loss

For me key is log all I eat, make sure that I am getting at least 3 quarts of water based fluid, and be active every day.

Have had a rough couple of days and didn't feel well enough to eat much. Making up for it today. Not expecting this weight to stick.

I'm still weighing and recording daily on the 100 days thread. Figured I'd stick to once a week here.

@kmfeig87 I'm sorry to hear about your prognosis. Praying and wishing you all best. *hugs

@SamanthaLouiseMence Thanks for posting the September thread. I agree with everyone else. Looking back just now...I have been a part of your threads since July 2018 - I had not realized it has been this long. Thanks so much!!!

    ---

I had a gain last week which may be due to eating dinner so late (between 8-8:30pm) throughout the week or it might just be a gain.

It will not discourage me! After speaking with my doc during my annual physical last week, all of my labs are good and she was surprised that I lost weight after last seeing me a few months ago.

    Previous post:
I have noticed that I am losing a bit of muscle in my arms so I will step away from cardio a bit and add strength exercises again. Initially, I started with a mix of strength exercises and cardio which I have learned leads to slow weight loss [10 lbs in 7 months] but I do love my small muscle gains.

    Have a good September everyone!

MFP Starting Weight: 140 lbs - February 2011
