Its almost Christmas, I personally do better if I have a time line with a start and sorta a finish. I also like challenges, I feel more accountable I guess. So I thought others might be the same. Anyone interested is welcome to join me. Share something about you, and then copy and paste the info below.

Ill start. I was 172, dropped all the excess weight, then gained it all back 5 years ago. 2 1/2 years ago, A friend convinced me to do a marathon with her, then another friend convinced me to "walk" another marathon with her, I agreed a,d 2 years ago both in July, and in September I completes a marathon. They were both really slow, but im proud of them because I do not like running, it is not fun, haha, but I completed them. During training for those, I dropped down to 155lbs and have been stuck between 152 and 156 ever since. Occationally I have dropped into the 140s but always jump right back into the 150s. I finally want to get into and stay into the 140s. So I want to get there by Christmas.

Challenge starting weight-154.4 today, but will do my official weigh in tomorrow

I'm in!! I've been struggling with the 'skinny fat' look for many, many years and I am determined to reach my goal of dropping my body fat down to about 20 percent. Ive been consistently lifting weights (heavy) for 2 years + but have just now, in the past few weeks, committed to dialing in my nutrition.

    Today: 133.2

I'll join in! I had a turning point that put me on this journey. I always remember as a child my mum being a very large lady and going clothes shopping with her, I always said to myself I would never be that size. Needed to buy some new clothes and was having to pick the clothes one size down from what I remember her being. That was it, that set me on this journey and since starting have gone down two dress sizes! But I'm not done yet!

Challenge starting weight-173lbs I weigh on Fridays normally so will update my weights then.

Count me in! This is a great idea. Use that buddy system to help motivate. I was going strong until about mid August when work became super busy. I am lacking the motivation to get back in the gym, so hopefully this helps.

Challenge starting weight-224 lbs...I think. I’ll check tonight at the gym

I’m in. My goal is to lose 67 by the end of 2020. I’m currently at 207. I see results when I have accountability partners. This will be perfect for refocusing through the end of the year. Hoping to go from obese to overweight in the next 9 weeks!

I historically struggle with my weight greatly during the holidays and I so want to change things this year. I can't afford to spend until march trying to get off holiday pounds. I'll be honest I normally gain 5-10 pounds during this 9 week period so I am very determined to keep it together this year. Have a great challenge everyone.

Have not done one of these before. I'm not at all far from where I want to be, but have crept up since the summer and know the holidays will tend to do the same. I also tend to be less careful when I'm "not far" from my comfort zone but then the not far grows... I'm short and a small stature person, so a little feels like a lot at times

I’m having my 4th ankle surgery the day after Christmas so this will be great for me! Im at the heaviest I’ve ever been right now, 195. I’m on a strict ‘no walking for exercise’ order from my doctor so it’s a little challenging. If I aim for a healthy 2 lbs a week that will make my goal 177, which is a great start!

I'm in. Thank you for starting this group! I stop all activities when my son went into the military and I was alone. I gained 60 lbs since. I used to do triathlon, marathon and whatever, but nothing for the past 10 years. That's sad! I want to do more tri's and marathon. I want to be healthy again for my new grandson!

Hello, it's been a fair while since I've done a challenge. May as well give it a go. I'm trying to redo how I'm living my life while fighting depression, anxiety, and physical issues, as well as fighting disordered eating. I've been doing reasonably well for the last 7 weeks, and want to keep things rolling.

Sounds like a great challenge to help me get through all the birthdays and holidays in the months ahead. I’ve been tracking my weight and posting daily in another forum (Just Give Me 10 Days). I’ll continue to do that, but I’d also like to try working toward an interim goal.

I’ll be 60 in a couple of weeks, and I want to move into the next decade of my life stronger and healthier than I’ve been in my 50’s. So far, I’ve lost about 30 lbs. taking the slow and (mostly) steady approach. I set my Christmas goal with that in mind. Getting below 175 would be an extra little Christmas present to myself!

I started losing weight September 2018. Did great for awhile, lost 50 lbs, ran my first half marathon. But in the last little part of my training and in the month or so after I fell off track with my diet and gained back about 15 lbs :( But I’m back on track now and hoping to lose 35 lbs to reach my goal weight. But I’d be happy to be at 140 by Christmas.
