@angmarie28 regular crunchy Cheetos have been my go-to snack for the past couple months. I'm always craving them! But I've tried to avoid them most days. My husband, like yours, is no help either - he says he doesn't like them either! Oh well. I try to stick to the baked version whenever I can find them, and pour some in a bowl rather than right from the bag (I'd eat a whole large bag in one sitting if not...) So addicting!

Same! I am definitely a salt eater. I could probably do without sweets forever - I hate donuts, never been a big fan of cakes or cupcakes or cookies, I'll occasionally have Halo Top ice cream, and my husband has been making rice krispies a lot lately that I'll eat - but nothing gets me like a bag of Ruffles potato chips, Cheeto's, popcorn, cheez-its, etc. I need a salty snack every day at work around 2-3pm to get me through the last bit of the day.

I try not to keep that stuff at home either. It's too easy to just grab and down a whole bag. At least at work I only have the option of a small bag, and if I want to spend the money on it.

I started working out via Beachbody and lost 18 lbs. I had to have surgery in the middle of a 100-day workout group and gained 9 lbs back.

I do love donuts, lol, but other than that, im not a sweets person. I dont care for cake or cookies (except my moms oatmeal butterscotch cookies, they are so good) but salty savory is my jam. Chips, cheez its, popcorn, jerky, peanuts, ritz crackers, yummy. I crave salty about 2pm daily also. Lucky for me, im limited to what i bring with me to work.

That's good! My work has a small marketplace that is FULL of chocolates, cookies, sodas, ice cream, frozen pizza, chips, crackers, etc. And, we have a charity "snack box" that sells bags of chips for 50cents and donates profits to local charities - so easy to snack all day long :/

I wonder what it is around that 2pm mark, hahaha.

I'm in too! I lost a little more than 15 pounds this summer, then focused on maintenance for 4 weeks during extended travel. I am now home and ready to lose some more weight. My goal was to lose 30 pounds this year, and I have 13.3 to go. Finishing by Christmas would be nice.

I’m in. My goal is 160 by Christmas. I started using mfp about a month ago. I struggled with weight all my life and avoided the scale. I started working with a trainer whose focus is nutrition, sleep and walking. I was 191# on 8/20. Currently 177. I feel great. I want to continue this process.

My weakness is salt, chips, crackers, etc and I make myself avoid them as much as possible. I like sweets but don't crave them like I do the salty ones.Plus there's a lot of salt in dressings, cheeses, cottage cheese actually, ughhhh it never ends. It seems like everything is full of salt. Its a work in progress.

Hope its not too late to get in on this. My official weigh in is Fridays but I'll post on this too, if that's ok. I'm a Senior member (68 in January) and I also have been dealing with thyroid issues so my goal might seem small to others but to me, it's a big amount to lose. but I can do it!!! Bon chance to all.

So clearly I missed the 23rd Oct weigh myself date! With a dissertation and work running atm my days are very confused...will be weighing in Monday 28th and the correct dates thereafter!

Let's keep it up so we can enjoy the smaller sized clothing in the Christmas sales haha.

Hi all, so I missed the start date also but was searching for something like this tonight so hope you don’t mind a late starter. My name is Lisa, I’m Mum of two boys aged 6 and 4 and live in New Zealand. I have struggled with my weight for a long time, I’m not a tall person and currently need to loose just under 30 pounds. I seem to have tried a few different programs this year with little success, we are in spring coming into summer so I’d really love to feel a bit better about myself by Christmas!
