Terrible day yesterday, ate a very large bag of crisps... but I was still on maintenance calories and I didn't gain2 -
I've been yo-yo-ing between 155-160 during all of November. My original goal was to get to 145 by Christmas, but I don't think that is going to happen. So I'll settle with 150 and *hope* to reach it early.

Feeling pretty discouraged today, did overeat a bit yesterday, had a really stressful day. But ive been in a deficit the other days, and have started at the gym, im going back tomorrow morning and hopefully will see a drop soon. I really want to be out of the 180s this month.3 -

I'm happy that I was up .08 pounds on the very first day for several reasons: It's important to see that weight fluctuates on a daily basis, so we're after trends not one day's change. Also, an "up" day on the scale does not derail us; anybody who reaches their goal has numerous "up" days along the way. All is well.

My weight tends to do this, too. I'll get stuck for a long time, kinda drift down a little bit and pop back up again for several days. If I keep at it, though, eventually it'll settle in or even drop lower. It's super frustrating, but it helps knowing that's just what my body does. Hang in there!!2 -
Huh. No idea what happened here. Sodium has been where it belongs, macros and calories on the mark, too. I worked out pretty hard on Monday night, but I don't feel sore enough to think I'm still retaining water on that now. Even drank 84 ounces of water yesterday.
Weird stuff happens. Just gonna keep at it and trust that it'll work itself out again. Planning on half an hour on the elliptical and another half on the bike. Maybe that will help get it moving again.

December 01: 187.4 I honestly ate child sized portions but I guess it adds up. My best figure is under 2300 but I did quick calories on MFP at 2350. I burned almost 2600 so I’m not sure I understand the gain when I know there was less calories in than out, but that’s carbs for ya! Okay so I am supposed to lose 5 pounds by Christmas and I gain 5 pounds overnight just by eating at maintenance! So I have my work cut out for me but I’m not a quitter so here goes nothing!
December 02: (Goal for 1st week: 183.0) Actual weight: 183.2 Yay! TMI potty helped tremendously as it had been a few days. So I have about made goal afterall and am pleased as punch! Now, to keep up the momentum!
December 03: 183.6 This must be a normal fluctuation. Everything was perfect yesterday-Calories, Carbs & Increased exercise. It will show up sooner or later because diligence always pays off.
December 04: 182.6 Very happy with the 1 lb loss. Travel & food tomorrow. Looking forward to all but the scale on the 6th!

That thing is happening; too busy at work, not enough sleep or overall self-care going on. Running from meeting to meeting put a bunch of steps to my Fitbit, but by this afternoon I grabbed a couple of Thin Mints a co- worker put out. "A Kind bar would be better fit me", I reasoned. That lead to a candy bar... then another... then a couple more cookies. Just finally had a late dinner of actual food. Letting go of THIS cycle is the real goal. Ther first step is to get enough sleep tonight, and not wreck tomorrow fussing over the morning's weigh in.
