Cryptic, appears emotionless, untalkative but friendly....attractive or not
This was my ex husband.
I used to be ok with this. But not anymore....
I don't find it attractive. I think it's too much work and I would get tired real quick.....
However "appears" emotionless doesn't mean "emotionless". Does he express emotions?
As long as emotions can be expressed, and clear communication is made, it's fine. Overly chatty people drive me nuts. I like comfortable silence. I just don't want to feel like I have to drag any sort of straight answer or emotion out of someone every single time..... that can be exhausting.
ETA: Absolutely nothing wrong with being strange. It's different and intriguing. Both of which can be very attractive.3 -
ladies of mfp
would you prefer him to be overly toxic or kinda a doormat?
(no in betweens & honest answers only pls im trynna see something)
If forced to choose between only these two options, then a doormat. I have more than enough confidence of my own
(in most things), that I can wear the proverbial pants in the relationship quite comfortably.
Also, I'm just so freaking done dealing with toxic masculinity, narcissists & ego-maniacs. It's a huge turn off for me.
Given my druthers? I drool over 'quietly confident'. A man who is aware of his skillfulness, but is so self-assured, he has no need for boasting or drawing attention to himself.6 -

I realize everyone is different so I'm curious to see what you all have to say...
Do you prefer someone who is... Shy and awkward (not creepy), or confident and cocky (bordering arrogant)?
Yes.1 -
