All the simple things, sitting outside, cooking, the sound of the birds ❤ I will forever be grateful for little things I took for granted before. Life has given me a second chance and I didn't think I'd be here this summer but here I am. 4 months cancer free yesterday 😊 Life is good.

Best thing I've read all day. ♥️

It took 3 weeks for my neurons to align but I semi-fixed my bicycle on my own and was able to ride during my lunch hour today.

She's squeaking and the back brakes need more tightening but she's ridable for the rest of the summer at least (with a few more tweaks and some lube/grease).

I missed biking SO much. Today is a good day.

My supportive roommate. She saves the food wrappers when she cooks so that I can scan it for more accurate logging.

A lot of people don’t have this and don’t recognize it when they do. 😊

    Health insurance

No, but I actually was going to say similar when I saw this thread pop up!

Because of my group health insurance at work, I was able to have a nurse come to my home this afternoon for my blood testing.

Saved me time going to a public clinic and my doctor will have results in 2 days instead of 7 days!

My 18 year old. She got a raw deal finishing high school they way they did this year. She also isn't attending the school she wanted to go to and worked so hard to qualify and get accepted. In spite of all that, she continues to work hard and taking 19 credit hours from home while working a decent part-time schedule. I asked her what her main motivation was and she said "I'm the big sister now and I want to set the same examples that were set for me." I'm grateful that she's a great person with a huge heart and I'm proud to be her dad.

Love that she wants to honor her big sis that way ❤️
