    You can healthily lose 1-2 pounds a week, although in the beginning stages of weight loss, some people see a little more, which is fine. Assuming about 20 weeks, I'd say 20-40 pounds is an okay goal (although actually hitting a 40-pound loss is much more difficult than reaching a 20-pound loss). Twenty pounds is certainly a reasonable amount.

    I'm hoping to lose 30 in six months, which is about a 1.5 pound-a-week loss. I've been doing some exercise - usually a 30 minute walk - four or five days a week. I'm also hoping to get back on 30DS to help me with toning - although I probably won't do it daily because it's too much for me (at the moment). If you'd like, you can add me. Good luck!

    I went from 194 to 149 in 5 months.... I had quite a bit to lose but 5 months is a fair amount of time to make some significant changes!
