I think we all need a happy place to go to today! I took a nice walk with my dog in the sunshine. It was chilly but beautiful. Take time to breathe today. ❤️

I took a long walk along the coast with DH, DYD and her dogs. Clear blue skies and bright sunlight sparkling on the waters of Belfast Lough. Magic!

Walking and fresh air make things so much better. Dogs make it even better. Back when I had cats, I tried to walk them, but they refused and simply flopped over and refused to move. 🤣

Hi folks: Just Catching up with all you beautiful people.
I’m Terri. I live in Northern Ireland with my DH of 54 years. We have 2 daughters and 3 adult grands. I’m 74 years young, and a retired maths teacher. Last year I did a Boditrax course at my local gym, and I my analysis showed that all my stats were normal for my age etc, and my body age was 62.

2015 was a pivotal year for me. I needed to lose weight because I needed a hip replacement. I joined MFP, lost 42 lbs, had my hip op, saw my DYD married, and haven’t looked back since.
    Stats:
    HW: 227 March 2014
    MFP SW: 216 Jan 2015
GW: 165 mid 2016 (mostly maintained)
    2019 GW: < 155 November 2019
    2020 GW: < 150 February 2020

    Current focus:
    • maintain < 155 ✅
    • Pre-log CI/CO and balance macros ✅
    • Hydration ✅
    • Increase stamina, strength and Flexibility ✅
    [/quote]

    October Goals Update:
    🔆 Have maintained < 150. Currently at 146.2
🔆 I stayed within my calorie goal
🔆 Continpued to keep my hydration above MD's recommendations
🔆 Still managing to slowly reduce Fat % and increase Muscle % by working on muscle development workouts

We have been having unusually warm, beautiful weather for this time of year. I have been taking advantage of it by taking walks- it was nice to see so many people out and about yesterday. We have one more nice day and then the weather gets more typical for this time of year.
I started shopping for Thanksgiving yesterday. I am still not sure if it will just be the two of us or if my son, daughter-in-law and granddaughter will be with us. No matter what I still have many things to be grateful for.
I hope everyone is doing well.

It’s the start of a frosty morning...29 degrees, but it’s supposed to get into the 50’s today, so I’m torn between raking leaves or putting up Christmas lights.

I’ll let you know how it shakes out!

      Happy Thursday, friends!

Great mood booster for today... or a great way to start your day dancing.
I did it twice with some footwork modifications... some of their footwork twists the knees.... so make it your own and dance like no one is watching. 😁
