Machka – CONGRATULATIONS!!! Instead of a new dress how about a pretty scarf or jacket to change an old dress in to something new?
Hugs to all,
SuziQ – SFL
The difficulty is that the graduation is in the middle of December. My other two grads for Grad Certificate and Grad Diploma were also mid-December and both occurred on one of the hottest days of the year. There's no reason to think that this one will be any different.
So, with heat and my skin sensitivities in mind, I'm trying to find something really light and cool to wear. It must be sleeveless or I'll melt, can't be too tight but I don't want it to hang like a sack either, and it must be smooth and a little bit stretchy.
I'll have the grad gown and hood over it ... another reason it needs to be really light and cool ... during the ceremony and then we'll likely go out to eat after so I've got to be comfortable in it for a while.
For my other two grads, I wore a short black skirt and sleeveless black top, and I'll do that again if I have to, but it might be nice to do something different for this one.
Having said that, this one time it might be quite cool and I'll wish I got a jacket!

Good morning all! It is Wednesday, and the last day of my work week! Wahoo! We are having a pajama day. Kids are arriving in pj's (I have mine on), pancakes for breakfast, blanket fort in the living room, blankets, pillows, and stuffies are welcome, today. I only have one little one (the one year old), the baby and the two younger two year olds are all gone on holiday already. So...the fort might acually last all day, without needing to be rebuilt! My two potty trainees have only had two accidents between them, so far this week! And one of those accidents was an aiming issue (he peed on his underwear and pants as he was peeing in the toilet). So...I think they are getting the hang of this! Thank God!
Machka - Congratulations! Although I am sure you knew you passed; it is nice to have the official word! lol Next stop graduation; then what's next for this fine young woman?!
SuzyQ- Good to see you! I was giggling, while I read each post of your marathon-catch up!
Kids are here, so I need to scoot! ttfn xoxoxo KJ (Kelly)2 -
M in Oz Glad they finally got that tooth seating right. I wasn't aware that wombats have cubical poop. Wombats are certainly more pleasant to look at than opossums.
Barbara The stickup artist made me smile. I noticed the Wells Fargo guys coming out of Safeway with money bags yesterday, hastened their pace when they saw me coming. I had just come from the alley behind the store where scary-looking guys sometimes sleep under the semi-trailers and I always put my hand in the pocket of my stretchy jacket with my index finger extended to look like a handgun. I must have forgotten to relax my hand.
SuzieQ You are certainly organized and efficient in covering so much past post in such little time and with appropriate and interesting commentary.
Kate That jigsaw puzzle fits in perfectly with the flowers. I thought it was a permanent mosaic design on the table.
Sue Your mom is a real beauty and I love her hair.
Katla At least one of the vaccines is already stockpiled with several million doses ready and is just awaiting final approval from the FDA. It will be delivered by the military and be in every state within 48 hours of approval. The amazing Operation Warp Speed has been planning and going full force since last spring.
KJ I love little kids but all the potty stories bring back memories. I didn't mind so much caring for my friend's kids when they were babies, but then when I babysat the kid's kids, I started an iron-clad potty self-sufficiency no ripe diaper rule. The kid that peed through his undies while on the toilet was just keeping his mask in place for the safety of others hahaha! One can't fault the boy for filtering his urine.

As I mentioned a few times work has been extremely busy and I have been spending too many hours in front of a computer. Remote work has it benefits but it also has its drawbacks. One being people no longer stop by for a quick chat/update/request. They now are more formalized which translates to more video meetings and calls. All of us are adapting to using MS Teams which allows us to contact anyone at any time, video chat, call, instant message, etc. A cool feature of MS Teams is it analyzes your work habits. During the past three months I have spent 60% of my time collaborating and 40% focusing. Considering I am a data analyst those percentages are not reflecting my core purpose. It does show my job is evolving. Too bad covid is being used as an excuse as to why the money is not evolving too.
Car Update – I am sure most of you remember my alternator went bye bye in Betsy the Beast. After calling the shop I usually use and tallying up all the repairs my car should receive I felt it in my best interest to attempt to buy a new car. This was not an easy decision because I am still paying down a lot of bad debt and planned on being debt free by the end of next year. But the lack of reliable transportation was bringing me down. I love car travel even if it is just a trip to a beach or park that I have never been to before. I was also tiring of not feeling comfortable driving any type of distance or going somewhere after dark. This girl needs her freedom. After three days of text and email negotiation I was actually approved for a loan and managed to shave $3k off the price. I am now the new owner of a 2020 Hyundai Venue. It is a compact SUV (they call it an urban SUV – ha). It is much smaller than Betsy the Beast, has so much technology (heck it keeps me in lanes) and has great mileage. I am literally getting twice as many miles per gallon than I was. She became the newest addition on October 31st. After three weeks of getting to know her she has been named Lucy Lou, Lucy for short (I Love Lucy).
I know it’s crazy but every time I approach her she puts a smile on my face. She is a reminder that we can do anything we set our minds to do. Just two short years ago I would not have been approved for credit because my financial health was such a mess. It has taken me two years of work but it is finally paying off. I know pride is a deadly sin, but I cannot help but feeling a little proud about my accomplishment.
My Broken Tooth – At the end of October my tooth broke. My dentist was able to repair it but a week later the repair fell off. It is one of those teeth with a lot of silver filling in it. My dentist called me to consult and I had four options two being rather expensive. He said he would personally see if the gum would grow up to protect the little bit of soft material that was exposed. Since my cleaning was due in 3 weeks I decided to see and wait. When I went in for my cleaning my gum did what it is designed to do so I have decided not to go the cap or implant route for now (it is the last back tooth on my bottom right-hand side). I just need to be sure it is thoroughly cleaned. I will continue to monitor it for now.
If you all recall the Association was in the process of suing the insurance company over getting our roofs and mansards repaired after a hurricane that occurred three years ago. The insurance company finally settled and instead of $25k per unit we will be responsible for at most $10k per unit. Work will begin near the end of December and my building will be in the third set of buildings to be redone. I am so relieved because our development is looking horrible. Once the roofing project is well on its way all of our fences will be replaced too. Then the buildings will be painted. I am so looking forward to the exterior of my unit looking new and refreshed. This has been a long time coming. The assessment can be paid in full or over a 10-year period. I will go with stretching out the payments. If I sell before the assessment is paid off I will have to pay the assessment fully. Not a big deal for me because my plans are to remain here for at least eight to ten years.
This post is turning in to a book so I will say so long for now.
Hugs to all and prayers for those in need.

SuziQ, It is a delight to hear from you again and to revisit the adventures of the month as you replied to all.
Our visit to Costco yesterday was interesting. It looked more like the line-up for Black Friday than senior hours. Costco was kind and opened their doors 15 minutes early for the early senior hours and people were lined up to get in. Jake and I took separate carts and separate lists. I had five items on my list and found only one (coffee creamer for my friend so she wouldn't have to go for only one item). Also bought one impulse item (Vitamin D3 even though we have plenty at home). Jake found everything on his list (candy, ice cream, salsa, chicken). We came home and stripped off all our clothes to launder them and took showers. This morning's news said that there were 75 new Covid cases in our small population rural county. We won't be going anywhere for awhile.
I went for an extra walk about 5 PM yesterday. I love walking by myself in the dark. I need to remember to do this more often.

Your mom is lovely and so glad to see that she is active at her age!
We took dressing to my son's family yesterday and socially distanced in the open garage. It was so good to see the grands, my son and daughter-in-law. Sorry, but I did give the two grands a quick hug. They will be going to her mom's house for TG along with her 2 brothers. All of them except her mom are working in the public each day so there was no way we would have felt safe attending. We will have some of my dressing & gravy along with a pork tenderloin that I will cook in the InstaPot. I am also making a cake from a mix that has been in the cabinet for a long, long time.

Heather- Beautiful cuff links, he will appreciate those.
Kate - Beautiful flowers.
Suzi - The puppy is part Mastiff so always has a sad look on her face. She misses her favourite people when they go to the bathroom though and puts herself in her bed waiting for the. When they come back in the room she acts like they were gone for days. She's quite funny.
I am so impressed that you caught up and commented. I have gotten behind before and had to go back to catch up, but have never really taken the time to comment on a lot when I do. You were missed, happy to see you.
I understand the pride you have in getting your car, we are still battling the bad debt pile and have several issues with our car. I am fearful of it not lasting before we could find approval for another one. Right now I have been singing the old Aaron Tippin song "Ain't Nothin' Wrong with the Radio" or remembering my Dad singing to the tune of Old Rugged Cross
On a hill faraway
Stood an old Chevrolet
Its fenders all rusted and broke
There was more to the song but I don't remember it all anymore.
Kelly - A pj day sounds just like what we all need! I'm happy to read that your potty trainers are reaching success!
I'm at work and hoping for a good day today.

Hey ladies
I am alive barely,i hoping to step down to a regular room tomorrow. Last night was horrendous, and im uo sitting in a chair trying to rest.9 -
Tomorrow I have two medical appointments:
1. Eyes - I was hoping to wait until next April before I got my eyes checked, but I'm having a terrible time seeing my computer screen. You're all blurry!!
2. Teeth - yep, that tooth again. It's still not quite right. I really hope this time it get shaved down to the correct level. Yes, she's using that carbon paper stuff to check. Yes, she checked me lying back and sitting most of the way up. But last time, it just felt that much better than it had so I thought it was going to be OK, but it isn't.
I'm trying to get all these in before Christmas and before we shut down again!!
M in Oz
Good luck

Tracey It sounds like it is time to write some new lyrics to the old songs.
Allie Sorry you have to suffer so much. May the days pass quickly and your healing be swift.
Michele Are you in O hi o yet?
Carol I see no problem giving your grands a hug. If we all don't start living a little, we are all going to die.
Barbie I quit walking in the dark when I lost one of my balance nerves. I don't have much balance in very low lighting and no balance without holding on to things in total dark.
SuziQ Congrats on Lucy! Yes, us girls living alone need our wheels. I have decided it is impossible to be debt-free. All I owe for is my house and that will be paid off when I am 97.2 -

Sue in WA: You are so lucky to have a living, healthy mom! She is lucky to have you, too.
Kim: I am delighted for you! Your work is wonderful and the roommate you took in has been a good addition.
Tracey in Edmonton: Good luck with your test results! I hope you remain negative for Corona Virus. I saw good news on TV. There are at least two vaccines under development that are very promising. I think medical personnel & first responders such police and firefighters will be early to receive them, and the rest of us as supplies allow. I would categorize you as a care giver & it makes sense for you to get vaccinated early similar to hospital personnel. Keeping my fingers crossed that you are able to get vaccine early & stay healthy. :flowerforyou:
Heather: Your son’s Alcohol-Free discovery box is brilliant. I wish him great success. Good news that Covid Cases are going down in your area and deaths are down to 3.
Evelyn: My husband is of a similar mind as you. He likes to be well stocked up and our freezer is full. Stocking up in uncertain times makes sense to me, too.
SuziQ: Our daylight hours are getting shorter and will continue get shorter until December 20, 21, 22, or 23. That is why Christmas lights are so uplifting. We decorate with holiday lights in stages, starting at Thanksgiving. I wonder how people get along in Northern Alaska. I think it would be hard for anyone with a mid-summer birthday. :ohwell:
Kate UK: Your flowers are lovely!!! :flowerforyou:
Machka: Thanks for the information on Wombats. I love the picture of them. They somewhat resemble nutria--a large member of the rodent family that was “farmed” for fur in the late 1950’s. Nobody wanted the fur, and the growers turned them loose in the river system. They are still pests. :grumble: We haven’t seen any in the past few years.
Barbara: Your comment to Fae made me laugh. “your winter walking look reminds me that today I caught sight in window reflection of me wearing watch cap, mask and dark glasses. Thought I looked like a short, pudgy, little old lady, stickup artist.”
SuziQ: Congrats on your new car!!!!
Thanksgiving tomorrow!!! We’re having beef for Thanksgiving this year and hope to facetime or zoom with our adult children & grandchildren across the country from us. DH will not fly due to health problems that began a few years before Corona Virus appeared. I will not fly and leave him home alone. :ohwell:

Re the Instant Pot vs InstaPot debate: I was watching Jeopardy the other night, catching up on some recorded episodes and the correct response was "What is Instant Pot?" The contestant said "What is InstaPot?" and Alex did NOT give him credit. The other two contestants had no idea what to say after that, because they thought the guy was right and were not familiar with the distinction. Even I'm not sure if I typed it correctly. There may be no space....InstantPot? I don't know!
Re my finger: It isn't really painful at the moment, just obviously crooked and still a little swollen. Y'all probably don't remember, but the day that I hurt it was also the day we got the news that my nephew had died. We had to make plans to travel to New Orleans (with a hurricane in Mississippi), plan the service, and write the eulogy. I still could have taken time for a quick trip to the orthopedist but I just couldn't deal with it right then. I'm sure there will be new pain going forward after the surgery, but lack of use is going to be the biggest annoyance. I am finally able to type with it again, but I'm sure that will digress. It will be okay, though. There are many with worse problems.4 -
Barbara and Debbie, turns out the fog free masks aren't quite as fog free as I thought they would be, but they are better than any other that I've tried so far! I just googled "easy 3D mask" and it came up, SeeKateSew is on the pattern. I will post photos, didn't get much done on them today, other stuff got in the way.
That's my past 24 hours in a small nutshell!
Hugs for those needing them, congrats to those celebrating and welcome to the newbies!
Evelyn, Vancouver Island
I just looked up the masks- haven't gotten to the actual pattern yet(still scrolling- LOTS of pictures) How many layers of fabric are there?0 -
Hello everyone.
I cannot believe it is the day before Thanksgiving. How time not only flies by but in a matter of a few weeks has made great changes in all of our lives. It will be a solo Thanksgiving for me. I bought most of my meal very early in order to avoid the last-minute rush. I still cannot understand how people go out and buy their meal a day ahead of time. I watch them every year buying 20-pound frozen turkeys the day before the holiday. I simply shake my head.
😊 SuziQ – SFL
My husband has worked in a grocery store for 40 yrs now(retired after 35 but went back part time, but has been working full time hours since March when the lifted the limit on hours for retirees)- ANYWAYS
Every year he has to work Thanksgiving morning and every single year he sees at least a few people coming in either the day before but many ON Thanksgiving morning, buying a frozen turkey and asking how long it will take to cook/when it will be ready.

DH and I got our new glasses yesterday. Still getting use to them. The lenses are a little smaller so having trouble with seeing the frames in the edge of my vision. Not even a full day yet so will get used to them.
Pretty day out today. So maybe I’ll get myself moving and walk. Lord knows I need the exercise!
Just two of us here for Thanksgiving tomorrow. Quiet day. I’m going to make some keto chocolate chip cookies and keto pumpkin pie. Wish me luck on the pie crust!

I totally understand the hugs for the grandkids. When I go see my parents, I can not go up and NOT give them a hug. It is because of them that I stay home most of the time. We do grocery shopping once a week at most and go out of our town, drive 20 min to the town north of us because it is less crowded and usually go on Thursday if I have the day off so even less crowded. I do go to church Sunday mornings but wear my mask the whole time but have only been back doing that for three weeks, that might change as they are getting stricter again(canceled the adult Christmas party that was coming up in two weeks) and Christmas eve service will be virtual, with the kids reading the Christmas story(recording it early so they can splice it together and ready for us to watch that night)
We never go to Christmas eve service because we are either on the road up to my parents or already up there. Christmas is the only holiday of the year we spend it with them.

Barbara - She doesn't want to put me on HRT for the migraines.
The story in a spoiler:I'm trying not to be too descriptive, because frankly, what is happening is gross. The migraines were a precursor to a terrible hormonal imbalance that is affecting my quality of life at the moment. It's to the point I can't get too far from my bathroom. I was in urgent care Monday. I got a prescription that doesn't seem to be working, at least not fast enough for me. My doctor thinks I may be in perimenopause, but she can't confirm because I've been on birth control and that has been regulating my hormones.
So, if this is what perimenopause has in store for me, I'd rather not have my uterus.
I had to cancel my Thanksgiving dinner plans. I was looking forward to it. The mister isn't going out anywhere--not even to the office--right now because he needs to stay close in case I need a ride somewhere. He's been very supportive of this situation. He even picked up my prescriptions late at night and bought me "girl" products without complaint. He actually offered to do it so I wouldn't have to call my friend. I've never asked him before because that is usually something I prefer to do myself. However, I couldn't leave home long enough to do it. Driving the 10 minute to Urgent Care and getting inside to the lobby without leaving a trail of mess was challenging.
Car buying: SuziQ Congrats on the new car. I envy you being able to negotiate that in 3 days. I did go to the dealership because I wanted to see and drive the car before I started working on a deal. If I didn't like it, why bother. Since then, I've gotten 4 quotes and none of them are willing to take more than $1000 off the MSRP (when we all know that is an inflated price). The manufacturer is giving $2500 cash back and there are tax incentives for plug in hybrids (that I may not qualify for). Apparently they think that is all they need to do. I think they should take more off AND give me the cash back. It's my bonus for buying that make of car, not theirs. In any case, they aren't calling me back anyway, so apparently they don't need my money. I couldn't go get it in my current condition anyway, but they don't know that.
Allie - Glad you're on the mend!
Machka - Congrats on officially passing your classes, though I don't think anyone here doubted you would
Kim - Sounds like you and Dylan have a perfect arrangement! You keep each other company "just enough."

I don't want to assume, but I will say that my BFF was bleeding so heavily that she passed out and they ended up having to call an ambulance.....which seems quite extreme for what they termed a "heavy period". She ended up in the hospital for 3 days....in the end they did an ablation (is that spelled right??) to prevent further problems. So far, that has worked for her.
I hope they find something that works for you. Hugs!

Great car, SuziQ. I love the colour!
Our Zoom went well. My difficult friend was late, but made it in the end. So good to see them. It's getting to feel quite natural. Almost like sitting and chatting IRL.
I've put some string lights on the mantlepiece. I'm restricting myself to lights and LED candles this year. No tree, garlands, wreaths etc.
But I will start my cards soon. The supermarket delivery tomorrow is bringing stamps! No queuing at the post office.
I rang my friend in Wales this morning instead of writing my memoir. We shared an apartment for four terms at university. Good chat. She seemed a bit down, but basically OK.
Sending love to Allie. It will get better.

From what I was told, it's not bad enough to warrant a trip to the ER, yet. However, I cannot get into the OB until January--potentially because it's nearing 9 months after initial covid shut downs.
My doctor said if it continues to affect my quality of life, just go to the ER. I have Iron supplements that I will start taking if I feel faint, but so far I'm only woozy after I get up first thing in the AM. I had extremely high iron readings in June and I've been trying to decrease my iron stores since then (I cannot donate blood here due to their silly requirements) and cutting my finger with my chef's knife from time to time isn't good enough. So I don't want to put it all right back in.

(((Allie))): I am delighted you made it through surgery. It sounds like they’re optimistic for you since they’re planning to put you in your own room tomorrow. :flowerforyou:
Dr. Katie: We have an Instant Pot. It is high quality and functions well. My husband wanted it and bought it. I consider it his. Our neighbors also bought one just before we got ours. Joe is the one who wanted it. It is his. There is a knockoff product called InstaPot. I don’t know much about it. Before we bought the Instant Pot we had a slow cooker. That evil device gave us food poisoning and we took it to the land fill. :grumble: I personally prefer to cook in cast iron.
Difk: Our masks were gifts to us from a good friend who loves to sew. They have two fabric layers and a space for a filter in between. I wore one of them to the grocery store this morning. I have three of them. One stays in the house and I have one in each of our two cars so that I don't forget to have one with me. :flowerforyou: DH also has one of her masks, but he prefers to use a paper mask.

The masks I make are two layered too. Evelyn posted about a new style(3D)- was asking how many layers are in them- they look like quite a few more than 2. I need something a little thinner so I can breath through it-don't need asthma attacks in the store or in church

I had themost horrendous heavy periods and was collapsing/fainting in the bathroom. I even rang the Samaritans once. Flooding while teaching was most embarrassing. I had to be taxied home. I had various treatments, including a hormone coil but I expelled that and nothing worked. Ended up with a hysterectomy. Best thing I ever did. I was so resistant to the idea, fought it for ages, but after it was done I wished I had done it much earlier and not gone through that hell.

I would highly recommend getting referred to a gynaecologist and getting tested for polyps etc.
"Things" went really wonky for me for a few years ... every couple weeks instead of every 28 days, massive flooding, etc. I thought it was just perimenopause and dealt with it as best I could until finally I got really frustrated and went to my GP ... who immediately referred me to a gynaecologist who squeezed me into an appointment on December 23, 2014 and I was in surgery in early January 2015.
Polyps filled my uterus and they were found to be precancerous.
Things settled down nicely after they were removed until 2017 when it all flared up again and sure enough another surgery, more polyps and more precancer.
Fortunately things settled again and I finally started "The Big Count" toward 12 months free in February 2020. Unfortunately, "The Big Count" was disrupted in October and now I'm watching how things are going. If I have more disruptions in the next month or two, I'll get tested again to see if the polyps are back.
So it doesn't hurt to get tested ... just in case!

Hello everyone.
Every year my employer holds a Thanksgiving Day luncheon. The company provides the mains and many of us bring in our favorite dishes. There is a best dish and dessert contest. It is the one event I look forward to and it is a great way to start the season. Since we are all remote this year the company surprised us with a $30 Uber Eats credit. The contest will be us sharing our experience and whatever receiving of the credit meant to us. The annual luncheon is not about the food for me it is about the sharing of food and stories. It also gives me time to catch up with work friends and getting to know newer co-workers. I always sit with a group I do not work near because I see those people every day (ha). I ordered lunch today and while it was fun ordering through the app once all of the fees are added it is a very expensive treat. It’s not something I would do on a regular basis but is an alternative if I am ever too sick to leave my home and do not feel like cooking.
Machka – Yes, it is high summer there so I think you have a great plan with a cooler outfit. You comment about it may be the first cooler graduation and you wish you got a jacket reminded me of a Christmas camping trip Greg and I took down in the keys. The keys are always 5-10 degrees hotter than my locale. Were we surprised when a cold front came through and it was in the low 40s! Tent sleeping is not fun when one is cold. I lived in my hooded sweatshirt during our trip.
KJ – I still want to be one of your kids when I grow up. PJ day! I love it.
Fae – Thank you for the compliment. Organization is my strong suit. I may not know a single thing about something but darn it I look like I do (ha!!). I have been organized since birth. My mother would tell me I was the kid in the playpen who took one toy, played with it, put it away and then selected a new one. I would keep myself amused for hours on end. I certainly did not prepare her for the heck she got when my brother was born. We are complete opposites. Oh, I can actually see the alternator in Lucy. If it goes after the warranty expires I will be able to replace it – ha!
Barbie – I avoid Costco starting 5 days before any major holiday. I am fortunate there are three Costcos within a 25-mile radius of me. The closest is four miles away. I can drive by and if the line looks too long I can turn around and go back home.
Carol – I am happy you were able to sneak in two quick hugs. It must have warmed your heart.
Tracey – I noticed how big the puppy’s paws are in the picture. She is adorable. It’s wonderful she loves her pack – she will be a protective one when she grows up. I was sorry to see Betsy the Beast leave. The dealership would not give me any money for her but would tow her away. I called around and found a decent company that buys any car in any shape and they remove it for you. As soon as I signed off on the paperwork I turned around and walked right back inside my house with no peeking over the fence or out of the windows. Charlie and I spent many hours in Besty and many wonderful road trips were taken up and down the eastern coast of the US. Greg and I took her on many camping trips. If I could have afforded it I would have had her repaired and would have kept her as the grunge trip vehicle (Home Depot, Lowes, picking up stuff, etc.). When I am honest with myself it was really time to let go. My life has been on hold for too long and it’s time for me to move forward and have my own adventures and create new memories. I am sending you strength to stick to your plan. It is possible to see the light again even if it does not feel like it. Slowly but surely wins the race. I had to remind myself how long it took me to create my financial mess. It was a combination of circumstance and me ignoring it for too long. I am not sure of your situation – a big thing that helped me was getting on the phone and negotiating with my creditors. Many worked with me and reduced the amount due. It reduced my debt by almost $20k. When forgiven I had to pay taxes on the forgiven amount which was at my current tax rate which was still a tremendous savings. Bankruptcy was not an option for me because I with no dependents and at my salary I was not considered insolvent so I could claim bankruptcy, but I would have to pay back 100% of my debt. I am still working up three more creditors, but I am starting to see the light.
Allie – Sending positive thoughts and prayers for a quick recovery.
Katla – It gets dark here too up until the winter solstice. We lose a minute a day and then start gaining a minute a day. South Florida weather is a joy this time of year. It is currently 76 degrees at 6pm and the humidity is very low. I absolutely love Christmas lights and once the work is completed on our buildings I will be adding year-round lights inside of my courtyard.
Debbie – I am sure your husband has some stories. With information so readily available I find myself shaking my head over people’s antics. I have to remind myself I do not know their stories and may be stressed in some way.
Tina – I am so sorry about your situation. Not gross, just life. Hoping the doctors are able to figure it out for you although it sounds like there will be a little challenge given your prescription. When I was going through the same situation I decided upon an IUD (Merina). It worked wonders for me – no more periods spaced 7-10 days apart. Everyone is different and it’s my hope they find an easy route for you.
I knew what I wanted even though I did not drive it yet. I figured if I absolutely hated how it drove I would pick a different model. I completed all research online and read the professional reviews so knew how the car would drive, sound, etc. And, given my situation I did not have a lot of play with how much I could finance. I was not looking for a lifetime car, simply looking for a reliable one. Betsy was a 2003 so you can imagine the improvement I made. 😊
Michele – Completely understand how you feel. Stay safe and enjoy the time with your family.
Thank you all for your well wishes with Lucy. She has been a joy so far and I am looking forward to new adventures.
Another indoor orchid has started blooming and I have two more with flower stems. It seems I have found a spot they love. I am trying to become an orchid whisperer. They are really easy once one figures out how to listen to them (ha).
This is a teacup orchid. I bought it on clearance two years ago after Mother’s Day.
Hugs to all.

PS: Geez, I go MIA for a month and now am writing novels!6
