70 year old female...5'5" ...I used to be 5'7" but arthritis hit and I lost two inches, so now that two inches is squished around my waist like the billows of a big accordion... ...Oh, well. I'll just keep working on it.

I'm in! So pleased to be back in this challenge, I did quite well in December, I lost 5.7lbs overall. But I want to do this challenge to keep me on the straight and narrow.
Start weight (31 August 2020): 349.2 lbs
Current weight (21 December 2020): 322.7 lbs
My goal is to lose 1.5lbs this challenge, but it does incorporate my birthday as well, so let's see how we get on!

●This is my breakfast oatmeal replacement on Keto.
**Keto Seed Porridge ~ 1 serving
5.2 net carbs ~ 333 calories
~1/4 tsp madagascar bourbon vanilla bean paste
~1 TB hemp seeds
~1 TB flax seed meal

JANUARY EXERCISE GOALS:

2021 is here! This will be an interesting round. Driving husband to the airport today. He is traveling to check in on his mom, and then also check-in on our never-ending condo repairs (should have been done in October). It’s a little nerve racking to have him traveling, and traveling alone during these times, but it is necessary. We have also decided that when we head down together in February, we will drive. And not fly. Anyhow…. Hubby is away for this whole round. I would traditionally eat ice cream and Chinese food the whole time he is gone, so, to avoid this, I really need to focus on my pre-planning and tracking and not bringing temptations into the house. This would also normally be a nice quite time for me, but instead, I am filling in as daycare for my almost 1 year old grandson. Lunch will be outside my home and I will be getting home just in time to scramble for dinner. Planning and preparing for each day is going to be key if I am going to continue to fit in daily exercise and keeping my daily calories under goal. I know I can do this, it will just take some focus.
Goals for round 137, adapt to the dynamics of this round, and to try and lose 1 more lb. I would like to hit my stated goal of 129 by the end on January.

HAPPY NEW YEAR - HERE'S TO A BETTER & A HEALTHY 2021!
Well 2020 didn't do me any favours at all - working from home makes the fridge way too accessible, nothing to do in the evenings except sit on the sofa, drink and eat a bit more, gyms shut ...... Yuk!
Still in tier 4 here in the UK so everything is shut except essential shops and still working from home but will try and make the effort to get a walk in or a home workout everyday and get back to food planning and putting a bit more effort in rather than grabbing rubbish out the cupboards.
But I turn 50 in July and I don't want to be "fat at 50" - ai to be under 140lb by then.
So here for the accountability and moral support this group is so good at giving.
3 complete rounds in January to get back on track.
Tried to make more effort today - hit my 10k steps, drank a bit more water, ate less rubbish ........

Welcome 2021! I don’t want to make radical changes to my workouts or meal plans this round - what I’ve been doing so far has been working, I just need to get back to it after loosening up for the holidays. I still have another 10 lbs to go to reach my goal weight, and then I’d like to focus on building strength. What I want to do over the next week is research how to do that and figure out some solid, concrete, achievable goals rather than just say “get stronger.”

January goal Is 4 lbs aggressive? If I had gained a lot than not really. I checked last January I lost 10lbs but I went from not trying to trying.
However not starting from the beginning, 191.5 by February 1st.
Goals
-Toning arms, core 3 days a week with out the use of a gym
-Planks 4 time a week
-stay the course work lunch walk, morning Zumba
-Add in 10 minute Zumba before leaving work or before bed
-Under 2000 calories everyday for month of January
-No cookies cakes candy chips and no juice
-no alcohol in January
-no eating out
Aggressive for January but January is a cleansing month.
