    Day/Weight/Comment

    02/11 - 146
02/12 - 146.5 - OK, it's time to get serious about getting back down to maintenance weight. I pulled out the food scale this morning and I'm logging everything. After 3 years of daily weighing and losing/maintaining my weight, you would think I would have it down by now, but the reality is that without using the food diary and the food scale, I give myself too much leeway in the amount and what I eat. That works fine when I weigh 142 or 143, but not when I'm trying to lose several pounds.
02/13 - 145.5 - I came home from work last night and my newly retired husband had made spinach lasagna and homemade garlic bread. I measured out enough to stay below maintenance calories, but I won't be surprised if the sodium and carbs hit tomorrow. Plenty of water today!
    02/14 - 144.5 - I don't trust this number, but I'll take it!
02/15 - 146.5 - More carbs and sodium yesterday, so this is not a surprise. I'll probably leave the office a little early today to beat the winter storm heading our way. I hope everyone else stays safe over the next day.
02/16 - 146 - The scale flashed between 145 and 146, so I'm keeping my fingers crossed for tomorrow.

    R135 172.8

    R137 170.5
    R138 168.8
    R139 - 167.9
    R140 - 168.8
R141 - Last full round before heading to FL for a month with no scale. Need to plan how to stay on track and continue to make progress without a scale in our condo--BUT with a beach across the street. Round 140 was eye-opening as to how quickly progress can rebound.

    Day/Weight/Comment
02/11 - 169.4 I don't mind pops-&-drops, but I gotta get a handle on this scale creep. At least it is early in the round. 9 more days to figure it out.
    02/12 -169.5
02/13 -167.7 persistent attack after the SuperBowl splurge finally paid off.
02/14 - 168.3 may all your hearts be happy today!
02/15 - 168.9 feeling bloated and mean. Several possible explanations for the pop, but I choose sodium. Ate lunch at a newly opened restaurant in our little town. (It was so good!) Only ate 1/2 a reg size Rueben, a few of my daughter's fries and the hub's green beans. Wish I could have logged to see to impact but impossible to really know for sure when someone else cooks. Plan to pound water today in hopes for a just as large drop tomorrow.
    02/16 - 168.1 Feels like 167.9 ;)

I don't know what you all think, but with all this unusual snow around the northern hemisphee where we don't normally get it/as much as this year, I'm wondering about global warming? For sure we normally only get 1 or 2 falls per winter which more often than not is melted and cleared by the end of the day. This year we have had about 4 or 5 falls & they have not only lasted several days, but in some cases we've had additional falls before the original has melted and temperatures of -5 or -6C is colder than normal winters!
Seeing the news from our neighbours across the pond who are also experiencing out of character copiuos amounts of snow makes me wonder!!

What does it make you wonder about?
Climate change being a trend towards more extreme weather, which is less predictable/more erratic,
(one result is an increase in the number and frequency of hot days during the summer, hence the term "global warming" but the term is a bit misleading IMHO)
