I walk in the door from work. Wife sees me, smiles, says in her most innocent voice, "babe, I'm gonna need you to choke me a bunch tonight."
Ten awkward seconds go by. I'm just looking at her, incredulous and blank faced. The boy (20, sitting on the couch) is simultaneously smirking and terrified of what he's possibly learned about his mother.
"Ummm...sure, but why?" I say. I make shifty eyes toward the boy.
Boy starts laughing. He knows I know he knows.
"Stuff I learned in self defense class today and I need to practice my counters."
Boy laughs more. It will not be sexy fun times for Dad.
Or so he believes. Maybe.

A few things:
I had an amazing night last night and that has me smiling this morning ☺️
My daughter called me at 12 am last night with an "issue" and I am so happy that she now knows I will answer my phone no matter the time. She kinda had doubts that I would answer her calls that late lol
This morning she texted me telling me she got the job she applied for. She will be tutoring kids at the local library. This makes me sooo happy as she was stressing out about finding a job and it's through the university she attends so it's even better!

Actually I tripped over a match happening next to me. Stubbed it on the back of their ankle as I was moving to dodge some techniques. Tripped and went flying into the chairs off the mats.
The head kicks felt good

Two friends medalled at their competition yesterday!!! Two didn't but lesson learned hopefully about entering the proper level not the one your ego thinks you belong in2

Even though it’s only tomorrow, I’m smiling because tomorrow I’m getting a tattoo over a scar that really bothers me. I’m smiling because I won’t have to look at it anymore and get a reminder of that time.6

Sternum, I haven’t seen his drawing yet, I gave him ideas and always leave it up to him to draw it. He has tattooed me over 40 times. I have never been disappointed..
