COVID19 - To Vaccinate or To Not Vaccinate
Replies
-
I volunteered at our local vaccination clinic where we vaccinated almost 2500 people that day. My responsibility was to watch for anyone having a reaction to their vaccine in the waiting room. Almost all the people getting their vaccine were so happy to get it. But you know there is always that one guy. He came in looking for the donuts just like a lot of people who were having fun. I told him like everyone else that they in the corner of the room. I gave him the wink wink because I thought he was kidding too. He came back to me saying he couldn’t find them and he was pissed. Lol. Life is too short to be so serious.16

LIES! There is no free donut with the vaccination!
But that's not a bad idea. Maybe I'll reward myself with a paid-for donut after the whole needle ordeal.

Waiting for folks to start arguing about whether Krispy Kreme donuts are the best ever or are disgusting or whether they would rather get free bagels
I'm about 1400 km from the nearest Krispy Kreme. That's a bit of a commute.
Free anything is the best. I'm not fussy.7 -
I'm 66 and still not eligible in Italy. Perhaps in a month. Things are slow here and we're in Lockdown until after Easter.18

I'm in favor of that argument. I don't get why people like KKs, but I've heard they are much better fresh and warm and I've never had them that way. Definitely would prefer bagels to donuts as my free option, though.3 -

I remember you posting that on the bagels vs donuts thread.3 -

With or without the vaccine, COVID has a 99.98% survival rate.
Those aren't bad odds.
Bad odds? Are you kidding me? I'll entertain your 99.98% survival rate. Out of the survival rate, we still don't know the long term impact of COVID-19. My coworker that "survived" is basically disabled at the moment. Brain swelling, heart swelling, she still has trouble breathing. She MIGHT be able to come back to work in a few weeks with restrictions if the new glasses she got for the double/blurry/prism vision helps and she's not exhausted all the time.
But yes, keep spouting that 99.98% "survive".
Same thing happens to many people from contracting respiratory illnesses EVERY year.
Long term health effects are actually very common. Propaganda parroting is something you are good at.
I have never the same since getting pneumonia over a decade ago for one. I know many more.
Global Frontline Nurses, look em up.
Frankly, unless you have M.D. or PHD behind your name, I couldn't care less about your uneducated opinions about COVID or about long haulers. PS....this same friend has had pneumonia in the past. She did NOT suffer the same long term effects like she is with COVID.
Also, Pot meet Kettle. Telling me I'm a "propaganda parrot" but in the next breath telling me to go look up some QAnon, conspiracy garbage.
Haha Backatcha..where is YOUR Degree? In your remote control I bet...so how you gonna know the vaccine works the survival rate goes to 99.8% from 99.7? DID you research> doubtful. Honestly without your tv and masks you would not have a clue we were in the deadliest pandemic ever.
SO you are not having any symptoms to suggest you are sick, but you better get tested to make sure you are not carrying anything that may make others sick. Even though it didnt make you sick or give you a symptom of sickness, If the flawed test tells you that you are sick, even though you do not have any symptoms make sure you self isolate for weeks on end so you dont give the sickness that didnt make you sick to anyone else, Then make sure to inject yourself with an unapproved experimental shot so you can avoid the sickness you may or may not have that may or may not give you symptoms that you may or may not pass onto others even if you get the shot that likely will actually make you sick. Giv'er!
That is a whole lot of word vomit to unpack. We'll have to agree to disagree on this one. You aren't going to change your mind and I'm not going to change mine. You do you and I'll do me. Take good care.
I get to safely hug my best friend and my mom at the end of the April because I'll be fully vaccinated. That's all that matters to me right now.
Gee, I've been hugging my mom and friends this whole time...Nobody got sick in over a year. Cheers to your good health.
Tell that to the 127 million people who have gotten sick. And the 2.78 million dead.
Why don't you go back and spout your nonsense on facebook.
Not one person here agrees with you.

She acts like it's a flex to be this flippant with basic public health measures. I really wish she'd crawl back over to Parler.11 -

Yeah the PCR test running the show has obly been admitted to have a high false positive rate. Worse yet by the inventor himself Kerry Mullis. CDC and WHO only sent out directives to healthcare teams count all suspected deaths covid with or without labs. You test positive and three weeks later die in a car crash its a covid death. The numbers you are being spoonfed by the media are false. The media is not compelled to tell the truth its just a show for ratings now.
Look up the average age of death in your country. Then look up average life expectancy. You will likely see that average age of death is above that, meaning those that died likely would have from any respiratory infection. Fear is your comfort zone. The programming is working well.
All of the best.
So you've told the older people in your life that they are expendable and if they die, oh well, right?10 -
