Round 144

Please join us! Starting on 03/13 JUST GIVE ME 10 DAYS, we will begin Round 144
Anyone can join us at anytime during the round.

Join us! If we stay mindful we can do this, you can do this.

Welcome back past members, welcome new members, let's keep each other accountable for another 10 days!

Here is what you do: Post your daily weight and add little comments along the way of how your day went. Post everyday to let us know how you're doing! Copy and paste the days in your response--tell us how much you lost and other non scale victories (NSV) you'd like to share.

FOR NEWBIES - I find it easiest to copy the dates to a document or note in my device and edit it each morning. Then copy and paste to the message board. MFP will return you to the spot on the board where you left off on your previous visit which is nice to know if you like to scan all of the posts.

Goals
- check in at least every other day
- Participate
- Low carb

71 year old female...5'5" ...I used to be 5'7" but arthritis hit and I lost two inches, so now that two inches is squished around my waist like the billows of a big accordion... :D...Oh, well. I'll just keep working on it.

    Round 144

    Age: 39
    Height: 5’ 3”
    SW: 163
    CW: 124.4
    GW: 125

    GW for this round: 124

    Round 135 (10): 136.6 to 133.6 (-3.0 lbs)
    Round 136 (11): 133.6 to 133.2 (-0.4 lbs)
    Round 137 (12): 133.2 to 131.8 (-1.4 lbs)
    Round 138 (13): 131.8 to 130.2 (-1.6 lbs)

    Round 141 (16): 127.4 to 128.2 (+0.8 lbs)
    Round 142 (17): 128.2 to 125.8 (-2.4 lbs)
    Round 143 (18): 125.8 to 124.4 (-1.4 lbs)

    Goals for this round:

    - Weigh every other day
    - Add 100 calories to daily calorie goal

I’m at my goal weight! I considered going further - making 120 my new goal weight - but I’m happy with how I look and feel now; I’m buying new clothes that fit; and I’m definitely ready to focus on getting stronger rather than focusing on a calorie deficit. So my goals this round are intended to help me transition away from weight loss to maintenance:

    - Start weighing every other day, with the intent of stretching it to every 3-4 days, then once a week. I don’t plan to go longer than that between weigh-ins so I can stay on top of any increases.
    - Increase calories - my Apple Watch has me at about 2200 TDEE lately, and I’ve been eating about 1750, so I’m going to start by increasing that to 1850. I expect to end up around 2000 a day, but don’t want to jump straight there.

JUST GIVE ME 10 DAYS ~|~ Round 144 (round 76 for me ) I need this to help me keep on track! Thank you @GrandmaJackie you so enrich so many of our lives by keeping the challenge going.

Female age 62 5' 4” - Challenge for this round – get back & stay >130 Stick with good habits; be mindful of what I eat & drink, try to keep it in moderation, keep walking, no binges; remember keeping the 10 days binge free makes such a difference!

Keep calm – we're all in this together! Wash hands, be kind, continue to follow all latest Government guidelines for C-19 virus. Be positive for the vaccine – I've had my first, spread positivity and encouragement for it to others.

Achieved goal weigh of 125lb in summer 2016 by losing 66lb and then gradually gained between 7 and 11 since then & didn't want to gain any more, It's taken me 75 rounds to acheive my under 130 target; now mainanence starts again!! It's a permanent way of life.

End of round 69 134.2 lbs
    End of round 70 133.6

    Day/Weight/Comment
03/13 128.8 – WOWEEEE!! Couldn't quite believe this, got on & off 4 times, even picked the scales up & put them down again before the last weigh in!! but every time was exactly the same. If the scales are my best buddy this am, the weather definatley was not yesterday, heavy rain meant I was forced to use the car rather than walk to volunteer session at vaccine centre & of course as soon as I got there it stopped :( and the sun came out. Managed to get 9.53 miles in afterwards. Excellent healthy food day.

    Day, Weight, Comment

3/13 – 198 – 10,793 steps, 40 min aerobics yesterday. Still a little too close for comfort to the northern border of Onederland but feeling more secure that my stay here will soon be permanent! Have recalibrated some of my weight goals – trying to be realistic but also challenge myself to make significant progress. My birthday is at the end of April and I’d very much like to move further south across the northern border of "overweight" BMI territory at 185 lbs by then. Today’s focus: Don’t think about work, school, career, future. Enjoy the moment. Be thankful for what I have. Probably a short hike/walk near home today. We may be passing by In-and-Out on the way home. :#
