Does anyone else here struggle with bingeing? The only "good" thing in the house are protein bars and I can sit there and eat 6 of them. I asked my husband if he could take them and put them in the trunk of the car which goes to work with him workdays, so I can't get to them. He looked at me like I was nuts Maybe I am! If it's in the house I will eat eat it. Anything. It's embarrassing and rather immature for an almost 50 year old, non?5

Hoping everyone had a great week! Been busy here. Trying to plant today before the storms come!
I am going to change my weigh in day to Thursdays. The weekends are too hectic with fishing trips! I am truly hoping I can get through these trips without too much damage to my eating plan. Hate to call it a diet. I will steer towards the fruit and veggies instead of the brownies, cakes and coffee cakes that I will be baking...lol. The group counts on me to bring them. Fortunately I am more a chip/crunch person. I have found that Skinny Pop Cheddar and Sour Cream popcorn chips work for me. Also they make a really good brown sugar and cinnamon popcorn cake...20 of them is 120 calories! Yes, they are going with me!

Hi, I’m 44 and 5’3. I have just finished a 3 year battle with leukaemia and now need to fix my body. I gained a LOT of weight from the steroids and my body (spine) hurts when I did anything. Slow and steady wins the race!

Yes, I must confess to being an all or nothing kind of guy. It doesn’t matter whether it’s good choices like protein cakes or bad choices like milk chocolate digestives, if I eat just one then I’ll go on to consume half the packet! And I’ll have to agree it’s embarrassing and immature for a …..63 year old. Hangs head in shame…..Anyway, let’s keep going with this!

Potato chips.
That's my kryptonite.
For a long time I just had to avoid buying them, and that did the trick. If they came in the house, I didn't always open them right away, but I knew that when I did, it was unlikely that it would be a two-day supply. I learned to pour a small bowl, even if I didn't weight them but eventually even to weigh out two servings. Small bowl. I even learned I could use my vacuum sealer to reseal the bag.
Well... the problem is, I knew where the bag was, and I knew how to open it back up. Now I know that if I bring home potato chips, they will be gone by the time the sun goes down. I still buy them sometimes. I want them. I log them in my journal because I eat them, and it definitely results in some days in surplus that I have to recover from. It's not that uncommon. So last week I decided NOT to buy any.5 -
Hi! I'm joining a little late, but have been tracking on my own as I really want to lose a few more lbs.
I hit my goal weight last fall, as a 40th birthday present to myself. I was doing really well until I lost my job, suffered a medical issue, and then ate my emotions over the holidays.
I have spent the last four months healing my gut which has gotten me back on track and ready to re-accomplish my goal weight!
