5/6: 166 lbs...definitely feel like Iโm retaining water so hope to see a slightly bigger drop for next week...but still happy for the amount lost this week ๐
5/13:161.2 lbs! Much bigger drop, almost too much ๐ณ Maybe scale is off but for now I will take it! Going to continue with several hikes a week, strength workouts at home a few times a week, and two intermittent fast days a week for now ๐

I was going to say โthis is what happens if I stick to my caloriesโ but then I looked back at the week and I havenโt actually done that very well at all! In fact, Iโm 871kcal over for the week when Iโm using maintenance as my goal. This is why tracking and maintaining ends up the real challenge when I do reach my goal weight. I suspect hormones are why it was artificially high earlier though, so if I want more loss I should try to stay within my calories rather than give myself too much lee way.6 -

Started to add back in exercise calories this week after finding myself exhausted end of day as the result of having a 1200 to 1500 calorie deficit per day. Still trying to keep around a 500 calorie deficit per day. Walking 12KM (7.4Miles) per day now.
Since Jan 1 this year body fat has dropped 7% while muscle mass is up 6.6%, so I can't complain about this months results. Still sticking to a 500 calorie deficit per day, modified carbs, fat, protein ratio to 40/30/30 at the start of this week after discovering my energy levels were dropping in line with carb consumption last month.
Very impressive how well everyone is doing with this challenge, so glad I found it and jumped in.6 -

I led myself into temptation this week (including a full turkey dinner), and backslid a bit. I think I had more water weight loss the week before, though. Have added a couple of sessions of resistance training (light) into my mix with elliptical and walking, and hope the stuffing and cranberry jones went south for a while.8 -
