ADK 218 welcome . Feel free to post whenever you feel comfortable . A lot of posts include really supportive things other than the weight progress. Appreciate that we are all able to do what feels right for us this includes weekly, biweekly or monthly😀

I go on everyday to read people’s posts . It helps me start my day. We have a group of amazing women.

Hi! I'd like to join but I only weigh once a month (weekly weigh-ins are a little triggering for me). Is it ok to just post my weigh-in at the end of July or is this thread really for weekly weigh-ins?

Sure you can! I weigh myself every day and keep my own log of that but I post here on the last day of the month. It's just inspiring to read posts from everyone throughout the month. Welcome aboard!

    Weekly weigh-in.

    Name: Cari

    Height: 5' 3"
    SW: 206lb/14 stone 10lb (16/3/21)

    July GW: 184lb/13 stone 4lb (-22lb)

Thank you for starting a new thread Raven StCloud.

So, I missed last weeks weigh in, just due to being so very busy with all the packing etc. I lost 1lb which is a win, however I just missed my June goal by 1lb which was annoying.

Onwards and upwards though, and this last week I’ve lost 2lb which has meant that I’ve hit my mini goal of another half stone lost, so my new mini goal is to get to 182lb/13 stone. Being realistic, and taking into account all the recent weeks I’ve had no movement on the scales, I very much doubt I will hit this this coming month, but I am aiming to lose 4lb during July and anything else is a bonus.

I am also aiming to get more exercise in once we have finally moved and started to get settled in. The ‘big day’ is now only 3 days away and quite frankly I’m having a total mental breakdown about all the mess and chaos I’m currently living in. I have a tendency to be a bit of a neat freak and all these boxes everywhere and stuff all over the house is really messing with my head. I know I’ve got to suck it up for now as it’s all part and parcel of moving house, and it will be the same the other end once we start unpacking, so I’ve got to deal with this for a while yet, but I have to say, I will be so relieved when this is all over, I am hating every single second of it right now. I’ve just got to think positively and remember it will all be done soon. The next time I write a post on here, I will be living in a different house in another town. Yikes!

Here’s to a healthy and positive July for everyone, may all your goals be met. <3

Hello and Thank you for this thread.
I have been up and down for years. I am back to the only thing that has helped me loose weight, MFP
Time to get to a better number on the scale (medical issues)

My goal this the weekend is to feel proud Monday of my choices over the holiday

Anyone have any plans for this weekend? Are you doing anything fun with family and/or friends? Have you worked out how to navigate the food situation at any gathering(s) you'll be attending? Do you have your white-noise machine and blankets ready to make an Anti-Fireworks-Noises Fortress of Solitude in the living room with your dogs? Do you have a bombass recipe for a light summer party dessert that the world needs to know about???

This goes for our non-US sisters, too - even if it's not a holiday where you are, you might still have fun summer weekend plans, that was always allowed :)

No plans for parties. I am just hoping that the barrage will be on when it's on and silent when it's not, instead of a lot of trailing BOOM and HISS! into the wee hours of the night.

A goodly portion of that is water retention and food in transit - yesterday was a high-sodium kind of day. Standby for whoosh in the next couple of weeks!

@VickyEltonGreen amazing!!! I love your letter, that's beautiful.

I weigh on Saturdays. This week I again did not meet my weekly step challenge (only 3 days instead of 4). And I ate out one night. My goals for the month are to lose 3.5 lbs, meet my step challenge 4 days out of the week, and increase my exercise. I bought a kettlebell and medicine ball and need to use them more. Hope everyone has a great month! We can do this! 💪👍
