    Aug 2: 225.4 Have a feeling this will go in chunks for a couple of days as I get over the trip. Still swollen and haven't unloaded the excess sodium yet.
    Aug. 3: 223.4 Still chunking along
    Aug 4: 221.0 Still discovering how much weight I lost on "vacation". Not a recommended approach, but if it sticks, I'll take it.
    Aug 5: 221.8 There's the bounce. So, for the record, I lost 6.2 pounds in 7 days canoeing the BWCAW. Feels about right.

    Aug 7: No weigh in, Scout camp out
    Aug 8: No weigh in, Scout camp out
    Aug 9: 222.8 Yikes! Looks like another couple of days of sodium detox
    Aug 10: 222.2 My morning walk was rained out, but this'll do.
    Aug. 11: 220.0 OK, no more Scout events this month and I might be able to make this stick!
    Aug 12: 221.2 Meh
    Aug 13: 221.0 Morning walk rained out again.
    Aug 14: No Weigh in Rats! Got out of sequence on my morning routine. No sense weighing after breakfast.

    Some personal experience. During the early part of the pandemic, I was losing weight and making it look easy. This went about 4 months and I got to weights I never dreamed of seeing again. At that point, I decided to relax on the weight loss, if it happened it happened, but I wasn't going to "worry" about it anymore. The first 5 pounds took about 3 months to come on and once I realized they were planning to stay, I lowered my daily calorie intake. Then another 5 pounds, and another lowering of intake. And another, and another. By January, I was barely eating 1700 cals a day, more like 1500 cals most days and some days even less, had regained all the weight I had lost...and was slowly gaining. I went to a dietician who put a quick stop to my ideas of "diet" at the time. She put me right back at 2200 per day, which is where I was when losing last spring, and it took a couple of weeks to get stabilized, but I'm down 13 pounds and going in the right direction. This, by eating the appropriate amount for me and my daily activity levels.

    Moral of the story? There's a reason MFP suggests minimum daily calorie intakes.

    Had a rough work day yesterday, snacked some, then went on a 10km run. I still feel bloated a bit. Today's plans falling through too, need backup one to keep me away from snacking.

    13 Aug 21 - 11.04 think i need a very low calorie day to kick start things.

    15 Aug 21 - 11.04 i cannot beieve no weight drop in 8 days.
    16 Aug 21 - 11.04 someday the weight will drop. Anybody else had this? Keeping to plan no more than 1200 a day. Yesterday less.

    Aug 2: 225.4 Have a feeling this will go in chunks for a couple of days as I get over the trip. Still swollen and haven't unloaded the excess sodium yet.

    Aug 4: 221.0 Still discovering how much weight I lost on "vacation". Not a recommended approach, but if it sticks, I'll take it.
    Aug 5: 221.8 There's the bounce. So, for the record, I lost 6.2 pounds in 7 days canoeing the BWCAW. Feels about right.
