    My name is Donna. I am 5’ 5” tall, 61 years old and from the Midwest USA. In 2016 I weighed 253 lbs. I am on a journey of health and to get back to the real me.

    11/14.…..191.0…..(Trend Weight 189.2)….. Traveled yesterday. Weight showed up from dinner out and lots of car driving (inactivity). I’ll work it off today as much as possible. Obviously I am disappointed that one meal would make such a negative difference.
    11/15……191.0…..(Trend Weight 189.3)….. I ate leftover Chinese food from my travel day. Other meals were good too. Snacks were definitely better. I honestly thought I would see a zero-point-something drop but not today. Something I have to look forward to, I guess.

    11/16……189.6…..(Trend Weight 189.4)….. Meals were perfectly on point yesterday although exercise level was low. So happy for this drop. I snuck into DGS Halloween basket last night. That needs to no become a habit.

    11/1-.…..189.8…..(Trend Weight 189.4)….. Epic Fail. I made a big dinner for the entire crew last night that is doing my home renovations. It was healthy but a little too hardy since I ate too much! Back at it today.

    11/18.…..190.6…..(Trend Weight 189.7)….. Very bad news from Primary Doctor yesterday in regards to my blood work. A1C 11.8 so she will be adding more medication for Type 2 diabetes in conjunction with what I am already taking. Thyroid has gotten worse and my medication will be increased. My sodium is super low and so a medication for that is being added. My LDL cholesterol is bad so she is adding Atorvastatin for help that. What a hot mess! These medications will help but I know in my heart of hearts that diet and exercise is the healthiest answer to all of this. I’ve got to do better! With all these holidays coming up, it just couldn’t be more challenging!

    11/19.…..190.8…..(Trend Weight 189.8)….. Travel yesterday was unexpected and I didn’t get home until 8:30 PM. Only slightly over 5000 steps, not enough water, lots of sitting in car and restaurant for late lunch/dinner. I’m surprised scale isn’t up more so I’m nervous that a bigger number will pop up in the coming days (right before Thanksgiving ugh!). Pushing water today.

    11/20.…..190.2…..(Trend Weight 189.8)…..A nice little drop today. Yesterday I rolled up my sleeves and put in the work. It could have been even better, but I definitely turned it around and it paid off.

    Wednesday is my normal weigh-in. Glad to see some change going down. So far 1.5lbs

    I have been having problems logging into Community with the app. I have to go through the internet. Wednesday is my normal weigh-in and I lost.

    November 17 184.5 lbs ⬇️ My regular Wednesday weigh-in. This month has been more consistent in the weight fluctuations. I am down 1.5 lbs mid month. A couple things I have noticed for myself is not drinking enough water does make a difference in the peaks of my weight gain. Always been a big water drinker but I have to be more diligent. Also reduces the carbs in the morning have been helping. Carbs are my weakness.

    11/21.…..187.6…..(Trend Weight 189.5)…..A huge drop due to an overdue TMI (potty). That probably left me dehydrated a bit so I’ll drink lots of water today and expect a bit of an uptick tomorrow. Overall, yesterday was a imperfect but pretty good dietary day. It is nice to see myself back with the 7 on the end of my weight. I don’t really feel firm in a decade until I see that 7 because of easy fluctuations. Hanging on by my fingertips until Thanksgiving. I don’t want a gain BEFORE the holidays too, but I can handle normal small fluctuations.

    averaging 10 lbs/month. 78.4 lbs lost so far!
    Did 223 minutes today on my Elliptical. I wanted to finish the last 10 minutes of the last movie and
    wanted to hit the 16 miles!

    11/15/21-178.8 :-( Doesn't make sense. Did that elliptical work out yesterday and only 1,266 calories and stayed totally on track but I usually do have a uptick before a drop. So hopefully will drop back off and it must be water being held on to.

    Also had some NSV's today. Our desk at work is high and we have high chairs. Today I had the chair set higher than before because I couldn't get into it up high. Today I could because my butt is smaller. Also my L leg that had the Tibial Plateau Fracture could actually now bend enough to put it on the leg rest under the seat!

    11/19/21-177.6 lbs- Edited because I checked my saved scale weight (when I weighed today 11/20/21) and I recorded it wrong yesterday. So some of the Rotisserie Seasoned chicken water weight did start to drop off!

    11/20/21-176.4 lbs Did my Elliptical for 217 minutes, just over 16 miles, today. Hopefully more of a whoosh tomorrow!

    11/21/21-177.4 lbs Has to be water weight although I ate about 400-600 more calories than my usual (1689- usually eat 1000-1200) but still way under my allotted calories (3804) with exercise. I usually don't eat back any of my exercise calories. I expected my weight loss to slow down about a month or 2 ago. Guess its time now. No elliptical today. Was cleaning to get ready for baking for Thanksgiving.

    @swimmom_1 remind me.. are you using a phone or computer? Either way just highlighting my text and then using copy is how i do it. I think you like to use the quote function.. can you use that and then just take out the quotes code from the start and end of the post and do it that way?

    Hi there! I’m Athena, I’ve been struggling on and off with my weight for a good while and was recommended to try accountability buddies to help each other reach our goals. Thought this would be a good route for that! Let’s see if we can survive turkey day! πŸ˜†

    My plan for the weeks ahead are to focus on eating at home and only go out to eat on Saturdays/Sundays (restaurant/fast food) and to focus on portion controlling. I’m also planning to work out for an hour three times a week.

    Currently, I am only 4 pounds away from my heaviest but determined to make that number bigger this month.
