    I have now been on maintenance for two months. During that time I’ve been able to consistently meet my calorie targets. There have been a few days I’ve gone over but they’ve been offset over the subsequent day or two.

    Nonetheless, if you look at my day to day weight fluctuations they belie my consistency. The point is and the reason I’m posting this is to encourage you to not get too caught up in day-to-day scale readings. Fluctuations are normal and what success looks like.

    The important things are logging, food choices and calories. Exercise makes everything a whole lot easier. If you get that right… Success will follow. I promise!
