We are a long-term group who support each other through life and the scale. Please join us in March for an accountability month! Most people utilize the thread for weigh-ins, you may weigh in daily or weekly; do what works for you. If your goals are to drink more water, gain muscle, reduce fat, increase strength or cardio, etc, feel free to join us and track those items as well.

We are an encouraging group challenging and supporting each other's efforts to stay on track with our personal goals.

    Hello All! Welcome to March! I am making an ambitious goal. Back in January, I quietly told myself that I was going to try to lose 45 pounds by the time I turned 45 this July. It's hitting me that I am turning 45 this year and so much has been out of my control since my first cancer diagnosis in 2016 and then the second diagnosis in 2018. I want to feel strong. I want it to be easier to breathe. I want to be able to enjoy my kids and have their energy revive me instead of deplete me. I want to feel more confident in this uni-boob body that I am so fortunate to still have. January was a rough transition period, and while I gained a few pounds, I learned some really good lessons about my body and my eating habits. February came and I applied what I had learned about myself and I saw downward motion in that scale. Ten pounds may be a lot to ask of this body of mine, but why not try? If it doesn't happen, I will not be disappointed in myself and I will set a new monthly goal.

    January Starting Weight: 194.7
    February Starting Weight: 196.1
    March Starting Weight: 189.8
    End of March Goal: 179.8

    Stats: 44 y/o female, 2x cancer survivor with Hypothyroidism dealing with menopause, plantar fasciitis and bone spurs - not to be used as excuses, but to be reminders of being kind to my body and accepting of its journey.

    Goals: Stay under calories; Drink 96oz of water; Daily stretching; Daily low impact exercise and weights.

    March Goal: < 120lbs

    I had some unplanned travel twice in the last five weeks. Between that and a lot of stress I'm up a few pounds. I'm planning to weigh once a week this month on Fridays. Since I returned home on the 28th I'm reluctant to step on the scale for a few days so not planning to weigh myself until Friday the 4th.
