Third time is a charm....
Thank you for the warm thoughts for my DH and I. Part of me is relieved that they found something. The other part is concerned that they found something. We will know more on Wednesday morning. After his testing we headed to work. First customer I was helping I dropped my readers and broke the frames. DH dropped his vape and broke the tank as I left for my massage. I got home and was replacing the tank when I stepped on glass he missed cleaning up! I bleed worse than my husband who is on a blood thinner. Time to rest!

My back-ache did NOT miraculously go away overnight, so I have taken today as a rest from exercise day. I spent the time I would have been on the machines editing my new book 'WHERE AM I?' I can only manage an hour at a time, so I will watch a video about mental health later this morning.
We are picking up Bea after school, so I will get some walking in. About 3.5 miles in all.
I'm really hoping this backache doesn't last long! Trying to send it healing love.
My friend L had her operation yesterday and says it feels better than the other hip did, so she's optimistic. Still on heavy painkillers though in hospital.
Love to all. Rori, can you send me some healing vibes.

Morning, afternoon and evening, my chickens, hope everyone is as well as can be...
As soon as I drop this missive here, I have to update the medications list that I take with me to the docs. They always say, "Bring all prescription pills to your visit," and I utterly refuse to drag all the pills I take around with me, so I keep the list with all details on an Excel spreadsheet. I keep one print out in my wallet for emergencies (has Corey's phone number, etc.) The technicians that check me in always seem quite relieved.
Went to bed an hour early with a barometric headache last night that was just laying me out. Woke up feeling better, thank goodness.
Talked to my best friend for an hour and a half yesterday - she and her husband were driving down to their new home, on her mother-in-law's property, five hours south in Montana. He was driving the truck and dragging their trailer, and she was driving her car. Well, they were headed to where the home is being built - they'll be living in that 5th wheel travel trailer for a while. BTDT, She's talked me through a dozen moves in the same amount of time, glad it wasn't me this time.
Doctor's visit in four hours, and that just kind of wrecks my morning, but that's OK, wasn't planning to accomplish much. It's basically a status check with the gastroenterologist. Corey will be up in a half hour, so I need to get his lunch ready. His coffee is perking now.
Welcome to those who are returning or new...
Love,

Good morning ladies!
Kylia take care!
When I woke up, I had been dreaming I was at the beach renting a boat. Rather disappointing to be back in the house. Time for a day trip! Somewhere other than groceries.
I want to change my tax withholding today, which involves digging through HR bureaucracy.
Today's goal is to save my exercise calories for Thursday. It will be tough, as I am hungry already. Just waiting for my eggs to reach my belly, as they say.
Have a great day! Looks to be sunny here.

I got my weeks mixed up. Craft is next Tuesday, but I’m doing crafty things at home.
Machka: Love that graphic. I must dust off my keyboard and start practicing again.
Heather: Have you tried some heat on your back. I have a heat pad and it works wonders when I get lower backache.
Rentals: Having good tenants is a godsend. Our last tenant stayed nearly six years, looked after the property well, and always let us know if anything needed attention.
Loving all the pics of children etc. I have to borrow DH’s tablet if I want to post photos, and it doesn’t access my photos!!!! Boooo!!!

Anyone have a suggestion for a good beginners, never done before, Yoga app? I see they have them for weightloss, strengthening and breathing. I am over 50, over weight, with knees that don’t do stairs but can walk like a cross country trekker!
hhof= going to weigh in real quick on this^. I am a stubborn yoga participant. It is not my favorite thing to do; mainly because it requires me to be quiet and mindful. lol I use an app called Yoga. It is a purple icon with a white colored person sitting in lotus position. I like it because it has directions for each move, it has beginner, intermediate, and advanced positions and you know exactly how long each session will take (usually between 6-10 minutes) Luck! Jake is home. Our friend picked him up at 5 PM. They put in a stent (he has others from before), scheduled him for a nuclear imaging on Wednesday (he can drive himself to that) and may have to do more stuff later that will involve another invasive procedure. He can't drive til later today. Thank you for all your good wishes. I enjoyed my hours at home alone and now am grateful that he is here with us again.

Eleven kiddos with me today. My new infant is starting care. He is two months old.
Alone time- I get up at 5:00am. My son leaves for work at 6am. This gives me an hour and a half a day of alone time. Most days it is not enough. lol BUT...I have learned not to wish for more time alone. I have found that God/The Powers That Be can put a wicked spin on wishes. The way They like to meddle in my life; I would probably find myself all alone til the end of time. I am content with whatever time I can eke out for myself.
Sending healing thoughts/prayers/vibes to all who need them. Love and hugs to all. OFf to the races. ttfn xoxoxo KJ (Kelly)9 -

Good morning beautiful peeps! It's rainy this morning and windy but we need some rain and this won't be enough. I've started logging my day and on my 6th glass of water, it's 10:50 am for me so doing good. It's a quieter day in my daycare so that's helpful. Have a great day, looking forward to a long weekend in Canada!!4

Margaret! I have never seen peony tulips! They are GORGEOUS!
Barbie, thanks for the spoiler lesson!
OMG Lanette, gonna try this spoiler thing! (the rest of you can read it too... LOL!)DO NOT get me started on the "F%$#& virus that has us treating each other like lepers"!!! HATE, HATE, HATE IT! I won't tell you how HORRIBLY I was treated a couple months ago because I had a cold. A cold, yes, that MY "FRIENDS" wouldn't have thought twice about two years ago... but we're not "friends" anymore. Yep. And to quote a phrase, "that's all I'm gonna say about that" (before I start crying again).
Rebecca, you just brought back the most lovely memories of my Gram. She used to do crewel work like that, with THOSE EXACT SCISSORS! LOL
OH H*LL NO, Mary! I hate people like that. I'm so sorry. You really have a lot of work ahead of you to get ready before June 1! Woah. I just do not understand people who cannot take care of someone else's property. They'll be the first ones to scream if someone messes with theirs too.
We were very Blessed with our renters IN AZ. Had the same ones for years and years and years before we sold the place.
MN will miss you.
Thank God Sue!!! I thought it was VERY interesting how the members took quick care of the shooter. The pastor himself took him out with a chair! WELL DONE!
MFP really needs a LOVE icon for that meme Machka! Wish I could do all of that today, but it's back to work for me now.

Hi from Nome AK,
Ella and I had good travels yesterday. I was surprised at how few people wore masks throughout all our travels. At the Seattle and Anchorage airports I felt a bit out of place wearing my mask. The vast majority of people weren't wearing a mask and weren't distancing. Nome weather is beautiful but the hills to the north here have fog and snow, so we have to wait for better visibility to fly to camp. It looks like the forecast is for clearing weather tomorrow. Once I leave Nome I won't have cell service or internet and won't be able to be in touch. I leave my computer and cell here at my son's house until I head back south in the fall.
Barbie and Kylia hoping you get good information and a good plan going forward for your husbands heart issues.
Lanette I would love to shop at the produce stand you described. I love to shop at the local farmers market when I'm in WA. Sometimes I find the freshest produce and I love the fresh honey and some of the crafts. I'd be at that barn when it opened, too.
Wishing everyone a safe and wonderful summer. I look forward to connecting in the fall.
Betsy (in Alaska now)
I'm going on a cruise to Alaska in sept! Can't wait to see the scenery and do a couple of excursions. I've heard so many wonderful things.

Hello to all. Just checking in for a bit.
Boredom-I don't really get bored. I think sitting and resting is a necessary party of living and it doesn't mean I'm bored. I was like others who, if mentioned being bored growing up, was immediately put to work doing chores. I am always able to find something on my own to avoid boredom.
Alone time-I LOVE alone time, but I don't get it much anymore. In fact, I NEED it. I am one of the HSP personalities, for sure. The mister is not gone much anymore. It's hard to miss someone when they are around all the time and I don't miss him unless he is gone more than a week. Since that has not happened in so long, I'm not even sure I'd miss him then.
Family drama-I stay out of it as much as I can. It's not too hard, since I live so far away. I generally don't share my drama with them, but I also try to limit it in my life.
I have a busy week. Working today, then headed north to take my niece and do fun stuff for a couple of days. Then staying one night with my cousin. Home for the weekend.
I also am trying to stick with a new exercise routine. It takes 90-120 minutes per day, however. I don't know how long I'll be able to do it. I'm exhausted when I'm done, so that keeps my from being super productive the rest of the day.
Hugs to those in need. I know there are many of you.

I'm glad! My grandma had scissors like that too💖. She was a tatter though. She did my "veil" when we got married.👍

Rebecca - I love the beautiful simplicity of your wedding... The over the top of the current weddings I have been exposed to seems to miss the point.

Mary - sorry your renters trashed your places. We have been quite lucky in our renters, only one who really left a mess. We have a small cabin that we rent to traveling nurses. They are usually here about 3 months and we live right across on the other side of the property so that probably helps. Good luck with the sale and enjoy AZ.
Going to water exercise shortly and then a couple of errands before I come home.
Everyone take care, Sue in WA3 -

fanncy0626 wrote: »Lanette no my husband and I are getting our property ready to sell. We really like it down in Arizona so we are moving our rental down to the condo that we bought and we will buy a house down there for us. The two rentals that we had up here our four bedroom house and studio cabin were both destroyed by the renters!! Their damage deposits will not even begin to cover the damage. We've got a lot of work ahead this week to get them on the market by June 1st. It took a full day to clean out the refrigerator. And I spent half a day cleaning the oven and stove top! I can't believe anybody lived like this!! The renter in the cabin used something like a paintball gun with Frozen paintballs and shot the front and side of the refrigerator around a hundred times, shot both of the metal doors several times, and shot holes in the walls and bathroom wood door. He was in the process of painting the mess he made on the walls when he decided to go over to his friend's house and play Russian roulette and lost his life. We've had a strange first week back in Minnesota!!Have a great day ladies!
Mary from Arizona/Minnesota
Mary - oh no! So sorry to hear this. Strange twist of fate the bad boy lost at Russian Roulette....
Hope the rest of the cleanup goes quickly and you can sell the property and make a nice profit.

Afternoon ladies
Well I took care of Miles and came home and took a nap.. my body needed it,well before I came home I went and spent time with my boy Homer..Tom and Elena leaving Saterday for Florida for a week so I will miss the little guy.. but boy he loves the sun down there.4 -
I had to go home early from the pickup. My back was hurting, so I had to lie down on the grass in the park. DH supervised the girls while they climbed trees and huge boulders!
Back at their house my hero kept them entertained while I took to the sofa.
My son was taking Max and Edie swimming, so he deposited me at my house, while DH stayed with Bea. I ordered mushroom pizza. For some strange reason it was 2 for one (we usually share one) plus I got another discount for an offer! Got two top quality pizzas for £9.94. I opened a bottle of red wine.
One thing I did manage to do while I was waiting for the delivery, was schedule a massage for my back for Thursday. All the hour slots with the woman my son recommended are booked up until June, but there was one 30 minute slot left on Thursday. I hope she will address my back.
Enjoyed our pizza and watched an Icelandic film in preparation for our cruise.
Love Heather UK xxxxxx
