Day 15……05/24…..204.4…..(Trend weight 203.2) My son and I were out of town for dental cleanings yesterday. A problem area in the gums is now turning into a root canal. I go back in June. Dinner was out so I am surprised to see a drop on the scale. We’ll see what the next few days hold. Today is a 3 hour appointment for my hair. Something new for me. Low-lights (instead of hi-lights). We are working around the previous cancer treatments and current cancer pill damages. We are also incorporating some gray throughout to match my roots. Getting old is hell LOL. Because of the long time in the car and the dentist chair, I danced to 5 songs last night and I am proud of myself for that. I didn’t do them all at once due to the difficulty breathing with the heart issue, but I scattered them about half hour apart. I also took a small walk (5 minutes) when I got home on my cul-de-sac. It’s the part of my street with the least amount of incline due to breathing. It felt so good. I’m going to try to fit it in several times per day this summer.
Day 16…..05/25…..203.2…..(Trend weight 203.2) Meals were good and spaced out nicely thanks to the long hair appointment. Snacks last night not so good. Ate all my emotions. The handyman who was working on my kitchen called me last night and quit because he got a really good job call he’d applied for months ago. I can’t say I blame him. I get it. In this rural area jobs are tough to find, especially for men. But Now what? Mini-Donuts do not fix the problem folks and I need to remember that! I justified it by drinking them with water instead of milk. Who am I fooling? Just keeping it honest here and I hope someone will get something, maybe some strength or resolve today when they want to grab a no-no. At this point it’s all I can add. The truth of overweight and spiraling out of control at times. I promise, I will inspire again as I gain my own strength and resolve back!
Day 17…..05/26…..203.0…..(Trend weight 203.2) Down a smidge. Better than a gain I wuppose after those donuts yesterday. I slept 2 hours last night. Just so worried about when I will find someone to finish this kitchen! I see a lot of coffee in the forecast today.
Day 18…..05/27…..203.8…..(Trend weight 203.2) Some travel yesterday unexpectedly. 2 meals but one of them were out so I’m sure the calorie count was high. I didn’t finish it but there was low level calorie burn for the day and much lower steps than usual. I did dance to two songs last night. Tonight is graduation for my twin nephews locally. I’m so proud of them!
Day 19…..05/28…..204.6…..(Trend weight 203.4) The graduation was wonderful. They graduated from the same place as my 4 children and some of the teachers I had not seen in awhile. I spent the day with a friend and my choices on food were not good. I have a lot of catching up to do today!
Day 20…..05/29…..204.2…..(Trend weight 203.5) A very slow day yesterday with not enough movement. No TMI today. So I’m surprised to see a drop. However, I got about 3 hours of extra sleep last night after dosing off early. My fitbit shows it was quality sleep too! Wow, I feel so refreshed! A friend from downstate that moved away stopped in to visit yesterday and is trying to do a few things to further my kitchen along. He doesn’t live here so it won’t be a completed project but anything helps! It’s a start! He was back this morning to help. He is my old handyman so I know is good work ethic. He can use the money and I can use the help so this is great. I’m hoping he can make some trips up and get me out of this jam in the coming weeks. We shall see. Feeling full of joy today!

Interesting information about MRI to detect metal! That photo was zoomed in. Of all of the debris that came out that morning there was a very shiny diamondesque piece, that it what I zoomed into, because to the naked eye it looked like glass, very tiny.

Day 15……05/24…..204.4…..(Trend weight 203.2) My son and I were out of town for dental cleanings yesterday. A problem area in the gums is now turning into a root canal. I go back in June. Dinner was out so I am surprised to see a drop on the scale. We’ll see what the next few days hold. Today is a 3 hour appointment for my hair. Something new for me. Low-lights (instead of hi-lights). We are working around the previous cancer treatments and current cancer pill damages. We are also incorporating some gray throughout to match my roots. Getting old is hell LOL. Because of the long time in the car and the dentist chair, I danced to 5 songs last night and I am proud of myself for that. I didn’t do them all at once due to the difficulty breathing with the heart issue, but I scattered them about half hour apart. I also took a small walk (5 minutes) when I got home on my cul-de-sac. It’s the part of my street with the least amount of incline due to breathing. It felt so good. I’m going to try to fit it in several times per day this summer.
Day 16…..05/25…..203.2…..(Trend weight 203.2) Meals were good and spaced out nicely thanks to the long hair appointment. Snacks last night not so good. Ate all my emotions. The handyman who was working on my kitchen called me last night and quit because he got a really good job call he’d applied for months ago. I can’t say I blame him. I get it. In this rural area jobs are tough to find, especially for men. But Now what? Mini-Donuts do not fix the problem folks and I need to remember that! I justified it by drinking them with water instead of milk. Who am I fooling? Just keeping it honest here and I hope someone will get something, maybe some strength or resolve today when they want to grab a no-no. At this point it’s all I can add. The truth of overweight and spiraling out of control at times. I promise, I will inspire again as I gain my own strength and resolve back!

I didn’t finish it but there was low level calorie burn for the day and much lower steps than usual. I did dance to two songs last night. Tonight is graduation for my twin nephews locally. However, I got about 3 hours of extra sleep last night after dosing off early. My fitbit shows it was quality sleep too! Wow, I feel so refreshed! A friend from downstate that moved away stopped in to visit yesterday and is trying to do a few things to further my kitchen along. He doesn’t live here so it won’t be a completed project but anything helps! It’s a start! He was back this morning to help. He is my old handyman so I know is good work ethic. He can use the money and I can use the help so this is great. I’m hoping he can make some trips up and get me out of this jam in the coming weeks. We shall see. Feeling full of joy today!

Excess calories burned (in the green): 3976. Even after having a RED from Ribs, I still averaged 568 per day overall.
Day 20: Sun, 5/29: 138.1 - Glad to see a tiny drop after Ribs. It may take awhile to make up for that, but kind of worth it. I don't plan to have Ribs again until the next 100
Day 21: Mon, 5/30: 137.7 - Busy week ahead, glad that I prepped so much food and made meal plans over the weekend.

It will also coordinate my medical records much better since I have other doctors in the same system. I first chose the other because it is only about 2 hours away and the place that most folks around my area go. But I changed my mind for all the reasons above. The appointment is on June 14th I think so I won’t have to wait long. I think it will be worth the extra drive. My weight and trend weight is exactly the same as yesterday. I had a bit of a binge last night due to having too light of a dinner. It was not garbage food but was still too many calories and carbs. I’ll plan a better dinner today. I was painting all day yesterday with a very strong smelling paint in the 91 degree heat. No appetite until I was clean and in bed.

Well, I was going to ask how the heart doctor went.
That seems like a very sound decision to centralize it like that.

I am Dawn. 61yrs old, 5'2"
Ideal body weight for my stats is 112. Many rounds away from that, and quite honestly I would be happy to get to 118 some day.
I would really like to lose 7 pounds this round.
I lost 1.8 pounds the last 100, which was a departure from gaining in the last 4 of them.

Excess calories burned (in the green): Shorter week, 1874, which only averages to 372.8 per day, less than usual
2nd Week Goal Weight: 135.0 - seems ambitious.
2nd Week Actual Weight: No idea, wonky scale on holiday with me read 48 pounds
Excess calories burned (in the green): 5167 - very happy with that.
3rd Week Goal Weight: N/A
3rd Week Actual Weight: 138.3 - had Ribs this week
Excess calories burned (in the green): 3976. Even after having a RED from Ribs, I still averaged 568 per day overall.
Day 20: Sun, 5/29: 138.1 - Glad to see a tiny drop after Ribs. It may take awhile to make up for that, but kind of worth it. I don't plan to have Ribs again until the next 100
Day 21: Mon, 5/30: 137.7 - Busy week ahead, glad that I prepped so much food and made meal plans over the weekend.
Day 22: Tues, 5/31: 137.7 - I worked late, so had dinner late. Since Ribs I have kept my calories to around 1100 in order to try to mitigate that Red day.
Day 23: Wed, 6/1: DNW - Too much water drinking early, and thought that I would go back to bed but didn't.
