I am tracking my calories and my fitbit steps
Goals:
1. Track Calories, If I snack binge then I log Blew it, and trying to find what time of day I do that, and reduce it to 0. So, far this week only had one day I did not blow it.
2. Currently my fitbit steps daily are over 4k. Want to increase to 5k a day.
3. Morning Walk: Started with walking last week to 2 mailboxes down from my house. Now I am up to 3.5

Hello!
I just transferred to a new university 3 weeks ago, had an incident where I had to miss a week of class, and worked nonstop for a week to catch up. As it was, I didn't make any time to eat, sleep, or track. Now that things have calmed down a little (in time for midterms!), I am trying to get back on track for the fiftieth time.
I got sick a couple weeks before class started and lost about 9 lbs in a week, but I am actually glad I was able to gain 3 lbs back by today. I'm a little farther away from the goal than before, but I am happier to lose weight at a more safe rate now.
Sep 9- 98 lbs
Sep 10- Didn't weigh today
Sep 11- 97 lbs Maybe I didn't actually gain back 3 lbs? I recently ate and I'm rounding up, which probably makes my actual weight more like 96.5 lbs. It's hard for me to tell if I actually gained any weight, I suppose.
Sep 12- Didn't weigh today. I also didn't eat the greatest today; I had way too much sodium. That'll definitely show on the scale tomorrow.
Sep 13- 97 lbs I should have drunk more water yesterday.
Sep 14- Didn't weigh today.
Sep 15- 96.5 lbs I'm probably a bit lighter than that, but I'm rounding up just to be safe. Hydration really helps me.
Sep 16- Didn't weigh today.
Sep 17- 96.5 lbs After 1 week, I'm about 0.5 lb away from my September goal weight.3 -

Thank you for the compliment! The wedding was wonderful and I was so pleased that the dress fit perfectly even ordering online. It is so difficult sometimes and it came right before the wedding with no time for adjustments if needed. I am happy with the weight I am at and am working at maintaining right now. You will get where you want to be with the work you are putting in. I am only at my goal weight now because of the surgery and horrible soft diet after.2 -

09/17-198.4-(Trend Weight 199.0)- My daughter got off work early so I only had to babysit in the morning. I took my son to lunch locally with a friend and her son. I finished my plate which I have taught myself not to do (usually). After breaking that good habit, I came home and was extra careful for the rest of the day knowing I could not afford many of my usual choices. Another good habit put into practice! It helped. Scale down ½ pound but trend weight is keeping a careful eye on me and doesn’t trust me. I get it.
09/18-195.4-(Trend Weight 198.6)- I had a very good day with diet choices. Worked hard going thru closets and drawers throughout the house (not done yet), but I am still surprised at the drop. No water pill yesterday, no TMI this morning or any other “helpful” things. I think I was very low on water yesterday while I was so busy. Could be a bit of dehydration as it was all coffee and very little water. I guess we shall see. So hungry this morning, typical after a drop. Come to think of it, I did hit 6 hours of sleep last night which is phenomenal for me.

Hello!

09/19-197.8-(Trend Weight 198.5)- Hmph….Best day in a long time. Dietary was perfect. Added some exercise yesterday including a hike along the river with my son. I didn’t understand the big drop yesterday so I suppose this big increase today is a balancing of the books. I did about half my usual hike. When I got to the biggest hill I had to turn around as my breathing was already labored. But it felt great to get out in the woods and on the trail. I would push water today but when I do it just pools at my ankles and doesn’t help the scale. But it does help with my frequent dehydration so……. Choices, choices.

09/20-199.0-(Trend Weight 198.6)- Definitely taking my water pill today. Couldn’t yesterday due to having to run too many errands. Ankles are tight and shiny. Weight is up on the scale. Bad sleep last night, not feeling so hot today. Travel tomorrow to the hospital for some testing. I’ll be getting a Doppler on my legs to check for blockages due to their inability to get a pulse in my left foot and symptoms showing up in my right. I will also be getting another EKG because my breathing has not improved since the stent was placed in my heart. They are doublechecking blood flow before my pulmonary testing in Oct. I am not going to let my health stop me, instead I am letting it motivate me.

Health challenges: breast cancer in 2016, full hysterectomy 2021, multiple leg/foot breaks (2015, 2018, 2022).
9/1/22 - 202.6 I can't wait to get this stupid boot off, but my husband is already reminding me to ease into exercise so I don't reinjure myself. Had a dexa/bone scan this morning to see if I'm dealing with osteoporosis. It's a possibility since I was on an estrogen blocking med for 5 years after the breast cancer, and I now have a history of fractures that take twice as long to heal as they should. Will be interesting to get results from that test.
9/5/22 - 201.0 dexa scan was normal so still no real answers, perhaps I'm just a really slow healer. Will see ortho tomorrow. Fingers crossed I'm out of this lovely boot in another few weeks before I go to San Diego for work. Or else my dear friend gets to mark off another state it has traveled to with me :-) Food added to my diary for the day and for tomorrow too. Adding to my food diary really does help me stay on track mentally, but it is somewhat of a hassle so I easily break the habit.
9/6/22 - 203.0 my own fault for the bump. My husband and I are committed starting today.
9/7/22 - 201.0 stuck with my food plan yesterday, it really does help if I pre-log my food for the day. Today is already logged. Had a scare with my husband yesterday. He came home at noon and said he was either going to our dr, the walk-in clinic, or the ER, whichever he could get to the fastest. Numb hands, arms and legs felt 'asleep'. Clinic decided it's a pinched nerve in his neck so we're waiting for insurance to approve an MRI. Until Monday at least he's off work, he can't safely do anything there (he's a heavy machinery mechanic). And while we were there I did my over-due check on my leg fracture; another 3 weeks with my dear friend Boot and then will get out of it. Hopefully it won't go with me to San Diego at the end of the month!
9/8/22 - 199.8 glad to not see a '2' this morning. Making chili for dinner tonight. Love fall in Indiana - cool nights and warm days. Trees haven't started to turn colors yet but the sunflower fields popped. Taking hubby to the GP today to put her in the loop. Still waiting on MRI approval. I'm almost hoping he gets worse so that we can go to the ER and force the MRI. Yes, I know, that's not the right way to look at it, but the idea of waiting around 6 weeks for a MRI and then another wait for surgery isn't pleasant; he can't work safely so could be off a really long time. Although I did have to tell him that it wasn't fair for him to break while I was still broken; this is my time to be taken care of LOL.
9/13/22 I promise I've been weighing, but apparently I wasn't logging in here. I weighed this morning but as soon as I got to my computer the number completely flew out of my head. Had a brain MRI yesterday on hubby ('unremarkable'). He has a neck MRI Monday and an appointment with a neurologist next Thursday. Nerve EMG is currently scheduled for 10/10. He's improving slightly, but that's with sitting around for the last 10 days. I'm pretty confident that symptoms will increase with more movement. He did have neck pain during the night and an extremely stiff neck this morning; told him we're notifying the dr tomorrow if it's still stiff then as it could be another symptom rather than just simply I-slept-on-it-wrong.
9/20/22 - 201.2. Too many bad food choices including some gluten the last few days. Back at it now though. Husband's neck MRI showed a lot of bad between C2 and C7...yup, essentially his entire neck. Neuro appointment Thursday to find out options and hopefully a plan. He's off work until he's fixed though.

09/20-199.0-(Trend Weight 198.6)- Definitely taking my water pill today. Couldn’t yesterday due to having to run too many errands. Ankles are tight and shiny. Weight is up on the scale. Bad sleep last night, not feeling so hot today. Travel tomorrow to the hospital for some testing. I’ll be getting a Doppler on my legs to check for blockages due to their inability to get a pulse in my left foot and symptoms showing up in my right. I will also be getting another EKG because my breathing has not improved since the stent was placed in my heart. They are doublechecking blood flow before my pulmonary testing in Oct. I am not going to let my health stop me, instead I am letting it motivate me.
09/21-198.8-(Trend Weight 198.6)- Handyman never showed up yesterday so I traveled to pick up our eyeglasses with my son. Lunch out of fried foods at a Dairy Queen style place. Hello!
I just transferred to a new university 4 weeks ago, had an incident where I had to miss a week of class, and worked nonstop for a week to catch up. As it was, I didn't make any time to eat, sleep, or track. Now that things have calmed down a little (in time for midterms!), I am trying to get back on track for the fiftieth time.
Sep 9- 98 lbs
Sep 10- Didn't weigh today
Sep 11- 97 lbs
Sep 12- Didn't weigh today.
Sep 13- 97 lbs
Sep 14- Didn't weigh today.
Sep 15- 96.5 lbs I'm probably a bit lighter than that, but I'm rounding up just to be safe. Hydration really helps me.

Sep 17- 96.5 lbs After 1 week, I'm about 0.5 lb away from my September goal weight.
Sep 18- 95.5 lbs I made it to my September

Sep 20- 95.5 lbs I'm surprised given what I thought was a not-so-good day yesterday, but I suppose that's a good thing.
Sep 21- 95.5 lbs I'm surprised again. Usually when I wake up feeling heavy, I'm bloated and heavier, but I've been wrong quite a bit recently.3 -

9/1/22 - 202.6 I can't wait to get this stupid boot off, but my husband is already reminding me to ease into exercise so I don't reinjure myself. Had a dexa/bone scan this morning to see if I'm dealing with osteoporosis. It's a possibility since I was on an estrogen blocking med for 5 years after the breast cancer, and I now have a history of fractures that take twice as long to heal as they should. Will be interesting to get results from that test.
9/5/22 - 201.0 dexa scan was normal so still no real answers, perhaps I'm just a really slow healer. Will see ortho tomorrow. Fingers crossed I'm out of this lovely boot in another few weeks before I go to San Diego for work. Or else my dear friend gets to mark off another state it has traveled to with me :-) Food added to my diary for the day and for tomorrow too. Adding to my food diary really does help me stay on track mentally, but it is somewhat of a hassle so I easily break the habit.
9/6/22 - 203.0 my own fault for the bump. My husband and I are committed starting today.
9/7/22 - 201.0 stuck with my food plan yesterday, it really does help if I pre-log my food for the day. Today is already logged. Had a scare with my husband yesterday. He came home at noon and said he was either going to our dr, the walk-in clinic, or the ER, whichever he could get to the fastest. Numb hands, arms and legs felt 'asleep'. Clinic decided it's a pinched nerve in his neck so we're waiting for insurance to approve an MRI. Until Monday at least he's off work, he can't safely do anything there (he's a heavy machinery mechanic). And while we were there I did my over-due check on my leg fracture; another 3 weeks with my dear friend Boot and then will get out of it. Hopefully it won't go with me to San Diego at the end of the month!
9/8/22 - 199.8 glad to not see a '2' this morning. Making chili for dinner tonight. Love fall in Indiana - cool nights and warm days. Trees haven't started to turn colors yet but the sunflower fields popped. Taking hubby to the GP today to put her in the loop. Still waiting on MRI approval. I'm almost hoping he gets worse so that we can go to the ER and force the MRI. Yes, I know, that's not the right way to look at it, but the idea of waiting around 6 weeks for a MRI and then another wait for surgery isn't pleasant; he can't work safely so could be off a really long time. Although I did have to tell him that it wasn't fair for him to break while I was still broken; this is my time to be taken care of LOL.
9/13/22 I promise I've been weighing, but apparently I wasn't logging in here. I weighed this morning but as soon as I got to my computer the number completely flew out of my head. Had a brain MRI yesterday on hubby ('unremarkable'). He has a neck MRI Monday and an appointment with a neurologist next Thursday. Nerve EMG is currently scheduled for 10/10. He's improving slightly, but that's with sitting around for the last 10 days. I'm pretty confident that symptoms will increase with more movement. He did have neck pain during the night and an extremely stiff neck this morning; told him we're notifying the dr tomorrow if it's still stiff then as it could be another symptom rather than just simply I-slept-on-it-wrong.
9/20/22 - 201.2. Too many bad food choices including some gluten the last few days. Back at it now though. Husband's neck MRI showed a lot of bad between C2 and C7...yup, essentially his entire neck. Neuro appointment Thursday to find out options and hopefully a plan. He's off work until he's fixed though.

@nikkit321 Many prayers and fingers crossed that the electrical is a simple matter. Mine was surging too much power, then not enough recently. It ended up that the main in my box was shot which is why it affected the whole house. It happened after we had to turn the main off for safely doing some work. I did decide (when replacing the main box) to upgrade to a 200 amp instead of just putting another 100 amp in. The electrician said I had enough power running in from the main line at the road (mine is overhead). Just replacing the box and circuits inside was thousands and thousands of $$$$$. I hope yours will be a much cheaper and simpler fix. My house was built in the 70's and with today's technology, 100 amp box just wasn't good enough. My positive vibes are being sent to you that it will be simple and affordable!

My older girlfriend will travel with me and I will take her shopping while out of town. I am so glad to see I am staying in Onederland, even in spite of everything. Very motivating! I ended up having an echocardiogram (ultra sound of heart) yesterday. I had it all mixed up (thought it was just an EKG) so there will likely be more answers coming. Also had the leg dopplers. I await results.
