Looks like you're having a good November. Whatever you've been doing the last few weeks, KEEP DOING THAT! I know you've had plenty of success punctuated by kicks in the head. This is a good month. Let's keep seeing that fuchsia! Then let's see you cross one more number off the bottom of the list!

@mtaratoot Not such a good week for me and I don't think the month will end with any great progress. However, I appreciate your support and your reminding me to keep on track. You are right! The small changes add up and differences Can be made! I know why I had that good week and I will keep on keeping on. But perhaps not on Saturday during our Thanksgiving dinner. I'm only human lol.

    A little mid-week update.

I haven't been updating my weight here on my MFP profile regularly. I had been when I was in maintenance. I set my profile not to send out a note on my feed because I thought it was silly for it to keep announcing I lost a few tenths of a pound. Over and over. Because I was gaining and losing the same few pounds.

Well, when COVID-19 arrived in early 2020, I was still ~mostly~maintaining until about October of that year. Then I gained. And gained. I did lose and gain some, but it was at a higher weight than I had been able to maintain for several years. It was a little frustrating. What am I saying; it was ANNOYING. I tried not to let it get to me because I was still in a healthy BMI range most of the time. I did pop out of both my ideal and my absolute maintenance ranges. I didn't like that.

I had decided a year or so ago not to update my profile weight until I hit a new low. I did that a few times. The last time I did that was back in May. Well, today the scale told me I had attained a mass slightly lower than that, so I updated MFP's profile.

Today I weighed less than I have weighed since October, 2020. I am now well within my maintenance range, and I'm just a few pounds over what used to be my goal weight. I might actually even get there. For sure I'll surpass my monthly goal on this challenge; that's something I haven't done since... since I really don't remember when.

Sad thing is it took me getting sick and having unsustainable loss rate to get here. I'll take that windfall and get back to maintaining like I used to do!

@mtaratoot Congrats on the new low. You've worked for it and deserve the success! How inspiring!

My name is Donna. I am 62 years old and I live in the Midwest of the US. I am 5’ 5” tall.

    Start Weight (from Oct 31, 2022 ): 197.8
Goal Weight: 192.8 (5 pound loss)

    End of Challenge Weight: xxxxx
Ultimate Goal Weight: 145-155 (I’ll know it when I get there!)

Weight in blue makes me blue because it’s a gain. Weight in fuchsia pink makes me feel cheery because it’s a loss. Weight in black means no change.

    11/01-199.8-(Trend Weight: 200.2)-

11/08-198.2-(Trend Weight: 199.7)- Traveling today downstate to accompany a friend on a specialist medical appointment. She needs me today and Friday to be a driver. Dinner will be out in the big city. Between that and no pill during travel, my weight tomorrow will be a disaster but I will bounce back. Even with several days of travel, I am aiming for another loss by next week’s weigh-in.

11/15-195.8-(Trend Weight: 198.7)- I’m doin’ the happy dance friends! Wow, all that yard work and good food choices is finally catching up. Travel today. I’m hoping this good news will help keep me on track! I’ve worked hard this week on both diet and movement (yard work). It payed off!

11/22-198.6-(Trend Weight: 198.7)- Well, I didn’t get to dance for long. Last week’s weight was a one day fluke after some heavy yard work. I’ve not made any progress this month at all according to the stats and that is a huge disappointment. However, I can honestly say that I am a size down in my tops (that means my big diabetic belly is smaller for sure!) and my pants are looser. My breathing is a bit better. What I’m really enjoying is shopping on the regular racks of clothing now, not the 1x, 2x stuff anymore. I want to hang on to that progress, even during all the foody holidays that are coming up.

    11/29-xxxxx-(Trend Weight: xxxxx)-

    11/30-xxxxx-(Trend Weight: xxxxx)-

Every healthy habit brings me closer to scratching each of these off to NEVER see them again!

@deepwoodslady NSVs are the best. Hold on to them when the scale doesn't reflect your progress. We can beat the holidays 💪🏾
