My name is Donna. I am 62 years old and I live in the Midwest of the US. I am 5โ€™ 5โ€ tall.

    Start Weight (from Nov 30, 2022 ): 196.2
Goal Weight: 191.2 (5 pound loss)

    End of Challenge Weight: xxxxx
Ultimate Goal Weight: 145-155 (Iโ€™ll know it when I get there!)

Weight in blue makes me blue because itโ€™s a gain. Weight in fuchsia pink makes me feel cheery because itโ€™s a loss. Weight in black means no change.

12/01-198.4-(Trend Weight: 197.8)- I am keeping my weigh-ins on Tuesdays. I also always weight in on the first and last day of every month to see the entire monthโ€™s (hopeful) improvement.

12/06-199.6-(Trend Weight: 197.9)- A big overnight jump for me! I just couldnโ€™t get full yesterday. I ate 5 small meals plus 2 snacks and I truly did not even realize it. I should have been logging! Anyway, I was shocked when I stepped on the scale until I realized that it was also an expected bloat day. Today is a pill day so that, along with careful meal planning, should allow a better scale result tomorrow. I must stay strong! I want to post a much better weight next week typed in pink, not blue! I start cardiac rehab on Friday and will be traveling on Thursday and Friday for medical so that is always a negative for my weight. So I must make the other days count!

12/13-198.4-(Trend Weight: 198.0)- I am down from a bloated weight last week but I am bloated again. I havenโ€™t been able to take my waterpill for many days due to constant travel for medical and Christmas shopping. So this may reflect a true loss. I guess we shall see later in the month. So hard to gauge in my circumstances. I started my cardiac rehab (out of town). They work on the heart apparently not just with physical activity but also with stress management, medication checks, and all things physical, mental and emotional. Interestingโ€ฆ.. They did say I need to lose weight. You think? Lol

    12/20-xxxxx-(Trend Weight: xxxxx)-
    12/27-xxxxx-(Trend Weight: xxxxx)-
    12/31-xxxxx-(Trend Weight: xxxxx)-

Every healthy habit brings me closer to scratching each of these off to NEVER see them again!
    250โ€™s; 240โ€™s; 230โ€™s; 220's; 210's; 200's; 190's; 180โ€™s; 170's; 160's; 150's

It's great to see your successful progress. I've appreciated your long term success as a maintainer, and I've felt sorrow when you had an uptick like several of us had.

Is there any chance you can just update here once a week? This very friendly challenge is set up for people to report on a weekly basis rather than daily. There are other daily challenges if you want to do a daily update. For those of us who like to support others' success, sometimes once a week is enough. I can get overwhelmed with daily updates.

Just give it some consideration. I don't run this challenge, and I have no ownership other than as a participant. I'm making this request to make it easier for me to continue participating. It's not altruistic at all - I am asking for my own benefit because I like to participate.

    Thanks!

Of course, thanks for saying something @mtaratoot. Iโ€™m glad we are on this journey together.
