    @joans1976 I agreed to go to half-caff. That's about as far as I can go. I can also reduce by 1 cup a day maybe. Every little bit helps. But I'm not giving it up entirely or going 100% to caffeine free. I don't drink soda so this helps.

    12/20-198.6-(Trend Weight 198.2)- Yesterday was horrid. My blood pressure dropped way too low at rehab. I had to stay an extra two hours to see if I would need to go through emergency. Exercise was so much easier when I was younger and healthier. I could choose what I wanted. Dieting was so much easier before diabetes and heart started dictating my foods. I hope everyone who still has choices and opportunities will grab them. This is why I am sharing. Starting to get a bad cold this morning too. Don’t worry, I should feel much better after more coffee.  However, they are even trying to take that away from me. Boo Hoo!

    12/21-199.8-(Trend Weight 198.3)- I had to cancel rehab this morning. This cold got worse and worse yesterday. Ended up on the couch under covers. Less than 3000 steps for the entire day. Today a sore throat decided to join in. Not sure why so much weight gain. I know there was a huge lack of activity but I thought the diet (not perfect) wasn’t too off-point but I could be wrong. Hopefully it is just all this snot. (Wow, isn’t that a nasty sounding word?) Back on the couch again today but I’ve absolutely got to get better in time for Christmas. I still need to bake.

    First time using Casein & Ketones. I put the two in a banana and almond milk mixture and…hmm, idk. I think I’ll need to find a different method. I’m thinking maybe in a dressing. The viciousness of the casein would probably be beneficial to it or a sauce or a…hmm, do you think I could make béchamel with it instead of flour?

    Took the ketones as directed instead of pouring it into a drink, and got a wave of dizziness. Had to lay my head in front of the fan for a minute. Now, this had been right after a hot shower…so the culprit is currently inconclusive. I’ll figure out who to rule out with future doses.

    In extension to the last update, it doesn’t seem like it was the ketones as the feeling did not happen again after this dose.

    I…I just accidentally, purposely signed up as a self-employed interior painter. I do have painting experience, it’s just, I didn’t mean to fall into this. I was just trying to find a job to help pay for school along with rent and groceries…! Well, that should be enough motivation to get my license, if there ever was to be! How long does that even take? Oh goodness, I need a car, I need example pictures, I need a schedule…M-Th ~8-20, school, F-Su maybe ~10-20(?), work availability?

    Hello all, I’m Amanda from Michigan. I have some scary medical procedures this month (Dec 2, 5, 6) but otherwise would like to lose or maintain. I lost 49 pounds since March and gained 4 back last month. I worked hard to lose those 49 and I know it’s easy to gain.

    Finally, a little reprieve! I know this must be swelling going down because clothes where I had my surgery are loose.
    I returned to work yesterday. Only 9 hours and I actually took 2 breaks! Man oh man am I sore this morning though.
    Halfway through the month and I am 6 pounds away from goal, 2.5 pounds from staying the same. 🤔

    The tumor board met and decided they want pathology to review the biopsy slides from surgery again so I will likely be waiting for a plan for treatment until after the new year. So. Not good news, not bad news. More waiting.

Feed a cold…Starve a fever. I should not have taken it so literally! I overate my diet food which makes it not so “diet” anymore.

    I am back in for December. My name is Mary and I join for the accountability and the benefit I noticed is I have a better understanding on how my weight fluctuations due to calories and lack of activity.
    My goal is to lose the weight I put on since April. I know it won't be done this month but I can go in that direction.
    Goal weight is 175lb.
    Current weight 187lbs.
    December goal 185lbs.
    Dec. 1 187lbs
    Dec. 7 185.5 lbs Wednesday is my weekly check in.
    Dec. 14th 185 lbs. To day I measured various parts of my body. I quit doing that last April. I am bigger by at least one inch on my waist and abs.
    Dec. 19th 186 lbs Guilty of sampling baked goods.
    Dec. 20th 186 lbs
    Dec. 21st 185 lbs I have been holding pretty steady with the weight with no surprises in either direction. Continuing to measure & no change there.

    Yesterday I ate pizza and chocolate. I feel pretty awful today. I had not a single vegetable yesterday. Gotta get a grip.
    I can’t seem to get enough sleep. I just toss and turn and can’t seem to get restful sleep. It’s been like this since I had my surgery. Maybe I need new pillows.

    It didn’t snow much here but it is cold, cold, cold and the wind is bitter. Thankfully I don’t have to go out today.

    I’m the wrong one to answer, but…The weather’s good in Florida. The lowest it’s been so far is what, 60? I’ve never been anywhere where it gets much colder than that. Damn, the though of not having power when it get really cold…I hope there are enough blankets, maybe even some firewood.

    @joans1976 It snowed like the dickens here in northern Michigan. My back door was snowed shut! It's still coming down. They are saying up to 17 inches expected by tomorrow. Yikes! It's very pretty though...... Our Sheriff put out an online bulletin. "Stay Home" "Impossible" to drive. "Blizzard". "White-out conditions" etc etc. Hunkering down. A good day to bake but the scale says a bad day to taste-test!

    12/23-199.2-(Trend Weight 198.4)- Wow! The snow this morning but we were warned – up to 17 inches expected over 48 hour period! Well…. My weight is up and my trend weight has creeped up too. Definitely a weight gain, not just bloat. It’s all caught up to me. Daughter and DGS here again until Sunday. They arrived yesterday evening. This makes it difficult. I’ve got to keep my eye on the ball! Good luck everyone this round. This is definitely the hardest round of the year for most everyone!

    I usually get down in the dumps during the holidays and was surprised and relieved it had not come yet. Then it hit me last night like a ton of bricks. I will be seeing family and friends today, so I will put a smile on my face. 1 below here with 25 below windchill.

    @deepwoodslady Did you stay home yesterday? We only have about an inch down here but the roads are dangerous because of the high winds and drifting snow. Stay safe and cozy up there!

    @joans1976 Yes, I hunkered down and stayed in. We got 8 inches yesterday, 4 more inches last night before midnight. Expecting 7-8 more today for a total of nearly 20 inches (assuming we get it today). It is lightly snowing now. Christmas day is supposed to be only 2 inches and it will take all day to get it. Monday is the day of my family dinner. No snow until after 10 pm so that is perfect! Lots of shoveling, but I'm getting help with it. I have an injured left foot/toe and and injured right hand all bandaged and a weak ticker so my son and newest son-in-law have taken up the task. It's beautiful here. It looks like diamonds in the snow. Roads remain ice, especially at night according to friends and family. Just sheets of ice. I hope you are staying warm and cozy. Happy Christmas Eve.

Definitely a weight gain, not just bloat. It’s all caught up to me. Daughter and DGS here again until Sunday. They arrived yesterday evening. This makes it difficult. I’ve got to keep my eye on the ball! Good luck everyone this round. This is definitely the hardest round of the year for most everyone!

    12/24-198.6-(Trend Weight 198.4)- A drop today which is totally welcomed. I’ve made a few of the fudges but will spend most of the day today making more fudge, candies and cookies. Tomorrow too, so everything will be very fresh for our dinner on Monday. Sunday all my children will be going to their in-laws. I will be baking like crazy lots of other goodies on Sunday in my double ovens. All my meals need to be on point because of all the licks and the other two things @quiltingjaine mentioned from the WW quip. Tis the season!

    Dec 1: 170.8 (Starting December 0.8 higher than November. I am going on a 3 week vacation in 2 months and I'd like to be back to my maintenance range by then. Very cold and snowy here today. Happy December! We have a Christmas potluck at work today.)

    It didn’t snow much here but it is cold, cold, cold and the wind is bitter. Thankfully I don’t have to go out today.

    Our weather was so so bitterly cold, but we managed. We stayed in for quite a few days. The weather is finally breaking here so we'll be able to resume some outdoor walks, which is nice.

    My dad's travel plans by car got delayed a bit to head home, but it just meant we got more time with him here, which was nice for us.

    Hello all, I’m Amanda from Michigan. I have some scary medical procedures this month (Dec 2, 5, 6) but otherwise would like to lose or maintain. I lost 49 pounds since March and gained 4 back last month. I worked hard to lose those 49 and I know it’s easy to gain.

    Yesterday I ate pizza and chocolate. I feel pretty awful today. I had not a single vegetable yesterday. Gotta get a grip.
    I can’t seem to get enough sleep. I just toss and turn and can’t seem to get restful sleep. It’s been like this since I had my surgery. Maybe I need new pillows.

    I usually get down in the dumps during the holidays and was surprised and relieved it had not come yet. Then it hit me last night like a ton of bricks. I will be seeing family and friends today, so I will put a smile on my face. 1 below here with 25 below windchill.

    Well, I came to my parents house and decided to spend the night last night because I was tired of facing the bad roads and I thought my mood might be better if I wasn’t alone.
    It is a balmy 16 degrees here today, so I’m ready to get my bikini and go sunbathe! Donna and Ashley, wanna join me? ☀️❄️

    I am back in for December. My name is Mary and I join for the accountability and the benefit I noticed is I have a better understanding on how my weight fluctuations due to calories and lack of activity.
    My goal is to lose the weight I put on since April. I know it won't be done this month but I can go in that direction.
    Goal weight is 175lb.
    Current weight 187lbs.
    December goal 185lbs.
    Dec. 1 187lbs
    Dec. 7 185.5 lbs Wednesday is my weekly check in.
    Dec. 14th 185 lbs. To day I measured various parts of my body. I quit doing that last April. I am bigger by at least one inch on my waist and abs.
    Dec. 19th 186 lbs Guilty of sampling baked goods.
    Dec. 20th 186 lbs
    Dec. 21st 185 lbs I have been holding pretty steady with the weight with no surprises in either direction. Continuing to measure & no change there.

    12/26-200.6-(Trend Weight 198.7)- Can you tell I finished my baking and candy making? While this also contains my expected bloat, ugh, it is higher than usual so the gain is obvious.
