I pulled out the measuring tape last night and found myself 1 inch smaller on the breast, 1 inch smaller on the waist and 1 inch smaller on the hips. So, just like last time, all the measurements are identical to one another. So I am still square. My name is Donna but you can call me Spongebob for short.

    02/24-191.4-(Trend Weight 193.8)-

    02/25-189.4-(Trend Weight 193.4)- I guess yesterday was busy preparing for today’s wonderful visit named Whoosh! When I stepped on the scale this morning, I could have cried. Fasting glucose down to 192-better but….still more work to do there. I’m pretty sure I know why this whoosh happened. More on that later. I always hope my insights can help others……

    02/26-190.4-(Trend Weight 193.1)- Scale is up this morning for no reason except perhaps that my dinner was very late last night (10:00 pm) due to company being over. My secondary scale showed no change. No worries. Just those ups & downs again. Last time it was followed by a very nice whoosh so I can only hope. I looked back over my food logs again (from before the dietician) before my whoosh. I noticed that I had mainly been eating two meals plus snacks, not the normal 3 due to Intermittent Fasting. The dietician had me eating many meals a day. I went back to my own plan and whoosh! I’ve found my meals more filling and satisfying as I fit my calories& carbs into just two meals and it means the portions are a bit bigger and my snacks more satisfying. And the scale thanked me. I find it is so much easier to pre-log my foods as my macros are more than enough for two meals. However, on my cardiac rehab days I have 3 meals as I am required to eat breakfast prior to the therapy (about 8:30 am). I then have lunch in the city at about 12:30-1:00 and dinner at home later than night around 7-8:00 pm but I still divide my macros into those meals. It’s just much harder to plan & prelog, and also to be satisfied per meal. I just thought I would share my experience in hopes it helps someone. I know that everyone is different, but I find that my black coffee in the morning is enough for me for the first few hours. Have a wonderful Sunday everyone!

    02/27-190.6-(Trend Weight 192.8)- Just a normal fluctuation, I know I did very well yesterday. Travel today for rehab. A big snow storm is expected to start at about 10:00 am so I will be nervous getting home tomorrow but it should be okay driving there. Another 5 inches expected. I have no idea where we are going to put the snow. We are out of room! I stayed on plan yesterday. Calories were a little low but carbs were right on target. Blood sugars ran so much better all day yesterday, morning fasting 157, before meal 135, 2 hours after dinner 187.

    Hi there! I’m Amanda from Michigan. Pretty cold and gray here but I plan to visit Bali this year so I keep that in mind. ☀️
    I start radiation therapy for breast cancer treatment this month and have no idea how my body will react to that, so I’m setting my goal low, to get into Onederland and stay there, even if it’s 199!

    Heartbreaking. I’m watching my macros and I was only 10 calories over yesterday. I weigh every gram I eat and every ounce I drink, even black coffee. I eat 5 servings of fruit/veggies everyday. I have sodium set lower than what MFP recommends. I drink 90-100 ounces of water everyday. I’m trying, I’m really, really trying.

    I keep forgetting to post my something fun for February. I wish it involved a beach and sipping something delicious while the tropical breeze ruffled my hair…anyway, my friend from Bali is coming here and I haven’t seen her for a year.     A short month! I stopped weighing and logging my food a few weeks back. I was making myself miserable by weighing every bite. I was also keeping track of macros, fiber and sodium (on paper and MFP) and poring over the numbers when I gained even 0.2 pound. I was obsessing hard and it was really affecting my mental health. So I took a break. I didn’t go wild and stuck to my usual portions and foods and I am up about a pound from the beginning of the month. So, not bad. It’s been a nice break. I’m not ready to start logging again (27 medical appointments in March) but I will get back to it soon and move my journey forward.

    I looked through the posts, everyone has done a stellar job this month and it’s so inspiring!

    Have a wonderful March! Hopefully we will see some signs of Spring!

    02/27-190.6-(Trend Weight 192.8)- Just a normal fluctuation, I know I did very well yesterday. Travel today for rehab. A big snow storm is expected to start at about 10:00 am so I will be nervous getting home tomorrow but it should be okay driving there. Another 5 inches expected. I have no idea where we are going to put the snow. We are out of room! I stayed on plan yesterday. Calories were a little low but carbs were right on target. Blood sugars ran so much better all day yesterday, morning fasting 157, before meal 135, 2 hours after dinner 187.

    02/28-DNW-(Trend Weight DNW)- I think those fluctuations for no reason got to me more than I realized. Emotional eating all day yesterday during and after travel. Also, the scale was way down in rehab since last week so my typical pattern is to do self-sabotage when I’ve done well. So I’m not sure which one it was but lets not call yesterday an epic fail. Let’s just call it an unexpected “cheat day” and move on. . 5” of snow yesterday and I was caught in the white out slipperies trying to drive home. It was Devil-awful. 4 more inches last night. Did someone say spring soon? So….It happens to be the end of the month’s challenge, so I will come back tomorrow and post a final weight which is likely to be a compromise between where I was and where I should be. The scale will tell the story. See you tomorrow on both pages!

    Argh I know the feeling, I gained back 26lbs from this time last year :( and it's coming off so much slower this time. Well, we're here and we're taking control so we should feel proud x
