    Iā€™m Jill. šŸ„°
Iā€™ve just turned 53, Iā€™m 5ā€™7ā€ and I live in Michigan. My hubby and I have 2 kids in collegeā€¦ my son is graduating in May and my daughter is a freshman. Both kids will be home for Spring Break so I look forward to a full house.

    My goals for March:
    šŸ§¹Spring clean workout
    šŸ“ Continue to log consistently
šŸ¶Puppy-proof the house for our upcoming furry baby
šŸ„— Continue the high-protein, lower carb, lower fat plan

    January weight lost: 7.7 pounds
    February weight lost: 5 pounds
March goal: 2 poundsā€¦ stretch goal 3 pounds

1ā€”212.4 Happy First Day of March!
2ā€”214.0 letā€™s just say that crackers got the better of me yesterday. Today has been better.
    3ā€”211.6. šŸŒ·
4ā€”211.4 picked up my daughter from college yesterday for Spring Break and the drive that typically takes an hour and forty-five minutes took 4 hours! #Blizzard ā€˜23

    9ā€“210.1
    10ā€“210.8
11ā€“210.8ā€¦my son and daughter have been home spending time with Nova on their spring break. It has been so nice hanging out with them. Iā€™ve been taking a break from logging and the scale is starting a slow creep, so itā€™s time to get back to basics.
    12ā€“211.6 ā˜¹ļø
    13ā€“210.3 šŸ˜
    14ā€“210.3 happy to hold steady

Hi, everyone! I am a 45 year-old female. I am 5'4" married with four kids and a new full-time job since January. Physically, I am a two-time cancer survivor, I have Hypothyroidism, and Plantar Fasciitis. I struggle with planning meals, overindulging in carbs, not finding time to exercise, and being consistent, but I have a good heart and am always grateful for every moment I have, even the frustrated ones. Lol!

    08: 193.1
    09:193.3
10: 194.4 - I understand why this number is here. I have to keep pushing through this tough time.

    13: DNW
    14: DNW

@pamperedlinny - your creation on your new appliance sounds delicious!

@nanerkay - congrats on the clothing win! I had bought a couple of pants from the thrift store before starting my new job and after being hospitalized and losing some weight at the end of December. I of course gained that weight back and now cannot button those pants. I am looking forward to the day I can button them again!

Every healthy habit brings me closer to scratching each of these off to NEVER see them again!

Weight in blue makes me blue because itā€™s a gain. Weight in fuchsia pink makes me feel cheery because itā€™s a loss. Weight in black means no change.

Hi all. I am 42 year old female from VT. I am a full time RN working in the ED. Leaving my current job in April, starting my ARPN life in primary care. I want to improve my health and fitness level, this setting an example for my patients that if I can do this then they can do this.

    Goals for March: revised 3/20
*I have revised my goals based on a mind set change from stressing about total body weight and changing to fitness, logging and muscle weight.

āš–ļø over all goal increased body muscle weight
    šŸŽ Food: unprocessed
    āœļø Logging daily
    Fitness goal:
    šŸ‹šŸ»ā€ā™‚ļø strength 3x per week
    šŸƒā€ā™€ļø cardio 4-5x per week
    šŸ’¦ Water: 80oz daily

    March starting weight: 168.0

    ā˜˜ļøMarchā˜˜ļø
    1 168.0

3 169.8 worked yesterday, got 12,000 + steps in, little shy on my water goal, ran before work, really happy that I am prioritizing my workouts.
4 169.4 great run and arm work out yesterday. Indulged in a glass of wine and espresso martini, while building legos with my husband šŸ˜‚ Dinner out tonight, already looked at the menu to plan.
    5 18th wedding anniversaryšŸ˜ (no weigh in)
6 171.0 had an amazing anniversary weekend. Back to logging today, snow showing with a friend planned for this afternoon.

    19 172.3
20 First Day of Spring šŸŒ·šŸŽšŸ’¦āœļø
172.3 total weight, 94.5 muscle weight.
    21āœļøšŸŽšŸ’¦šŸƒā€ā™€ļø172.1/ 94.9
    22 āœļøšŸŽ 170.2/ 93.0
23 āœļøšŸŽ170.8/ 92.6 Worked the past couple of days. I was terrible about getting my water in, it was around 3pm each day that I realized I had not drank anything beside coffee. Going to work on some rehydration today.

The life of a RN. We take care of everyone else and we're last on our To Do List!

Last night was so great! I got to hear Sarah Penner share how she started writing her first book, what inspired her second, and even what to expect from her third. Yesterday was her husbandā€™s birthday so he flew in to be with her this weekend. It was fun to meet him and that she surprised him with 80 women singing him Happy Birthday. The shop has a Spirited Sangria and I was glad I left plenty of calorie room (I was actually below my normal range yesterday) so I could enjoy the drink included on my ticket.

Tonight is the monthly movie night that I host. Iā€™m thinking of trying a new recipe on the group and making them all my guinea pigs. I already have the next two blog recipes ready to drop, but anytime I get ahead I try to keep that momentumā€¦ inevitably Iā€™ll hit a block and wonā€™t have anything new for a couple weeks. Then those few that were ready in advance really come in handy. Weā€™re watching An Affair To Remember. Since movie night is potluck I donā€™t know everything coming yet. I heard a rumor about girl scout cookies and ice cream so Iā€™ll have to eat really light throughout the day so I really indulge without killing my calorie boundaries too hard. I also heard there might be crab Rangoon and bbq meatballs. Man, I love my monthly movie nights!

Wow, it sounds like you had an amazing time and I'm glad you were able to enjoy the drink on the ticket. Let us know how they liked your new recipe. The movie you all are watching is a great one but be sure to have tissues on hand...lol Anyway have a great time!

Physically, I am a two-time cancer survivor, I have Hypothyroidism, and Plantar Fasciitis. @Buckeyebabe7l7 I already warned my friends about the tissues. It's one of my favorites. I watch it at least once a year. The end gets me every single time.

Also, I forgot to post the photo from last night. My friend on the left, myself in the middle, Sarah Penner on the right.

03/24-188.0-(Trend Weight 189.8)- My good choices finally caught up with the scale today from the days earlier in the week. But yesterday was a bit of a binge. I lost all control. It was fueled by emotions as I was called into the ā€œprincipalā€™s officeā€ at the cardiac rehab and told that I should have went to the hospital with the bp drops, or at the very least, contacted one of my doctors. My readings that had improved by Sunday night were still good enough on Monday morning to go. However, yesterday evening at home, they dropped yet again and stayed that way all night. I began my emotional eating binge and didnā€™t stop until midnight. I discontinued the night time bp med again (Lisinopril) but continue to take the Metroprolol (prolly spelled wrong) in the mornings because it is not just a bp med but it also helps the heart to actually pump. My blood pressure is now okay again today. I am babysitting my DGS again today so hopefully I will continue to feel well. In any case, overeating foods, especially those that are bad for my diabetes, are not going to help. Emotional eating never solves the problem. This realization is helping me, at least for today. I hope it helps someone else too.

@deepwoodslady Donna,I will keep you in my prayers. I'm am sorry you are having issues with it dropping like that. Did the people at the rehab place have any idea why this was happening and have some plan to help stabilize your bp? I understand emotional eating and it's a soothing mechanism but as you know it doesn't do anything to actually fix the issues that are causing our emotions. So, I hope you are able to solve the bp issues so you don't have that added stressor. Take care!
