03/27-DNW-(Trend Weight DNW)- Nope. I’m not even gonna look! The birthday party was very nice and so was the food. I have 4 out of 5 days of travel this week which is never good for me. Also, my bp dropped badly again so I am back to laying around (no exercise allowed) babying it until the cardiologist figures out what to do. The one thing I’ve learned is that if I don’t move, I don’t lose. In fact, if I don’t move, I gain. Even when my calories and carbs are kept low. So I am going to wait until the end of this challenge to weigh in again. I will check in daily with all of your posts. I will do my best to make good choices during my travel days. I can’t bear to be discouraged right now. I’m going through enough as it is!

03/28-DNW-(Trend Weight DNW)- I am heading north today to get my tax package to my accountant that moved quite far. I have not been able to take water pill due to bp drops as well as all this travel. All the more reason I am not weighing as I am bloating bigger. I have massaged my ankles and abdomen this morning in the hopes that it will help. Yet more restaurants today too along with lots of sitting. I am not allowed to exercise right now anyway so I suppose it’s okay. Hopefully the cardiologist will get back with me sometime today on the bp numbers I dropped off yesterday. I’ll read all the current posts later tonight. In the meantime, have a great day everyone!

    Good morning all!

Yesterday our team came in second at trivia. Not too shabby, especially since some answers were definitely guesses on our part. The last bonus question was finally where I got to shine... match the dog to the Disney movie. 🐕 I stayed within all my calorie boundaries and only had a small protein shake after 8pm because I felt like I was still legit hungry when I got home from Zumba then trivia. Better to have a small shake at home (just protein powder and almond milk) than to eat cake at the shop and still be hungry.

My parents are coming to visit for a few days after Easter. I love my parents. I also don't live exactly as they would so it usually causes plenty of drama when they visit. They are also bringing their dog and not staying in a hotel. So.... I'm going to need to clear space, clean to a level I don't normally worry about, lecture my daughter about not bringing up magic with them, and find a YouTube workout that uses Christian music or no lyrics or something. Since my first go-to is often Zumba that will be a bit more difficult. I love church and the Lord but I don't specifically look for workouts that play only those songs. If you have suggestions I'm all ears.

    I’m Jill. 🥰
I’ve just turned 53, I’m 5’7” and I live in Michigan. My hubby and I have 2 kids in college… my son is graduating in May and my daughter is a freshman. Both kids will be home for Spring Break so I look forward to a full house.

    My goals for March:
    🧹Spring clean workout
    📝 Continue to log consistently
🐶Puppy-proof the house for our upcoming furry baby
🥗 Continue the high-protein, lower carb, lower fat plan

    January weight lost: 7.7 pounds
    February weight lost: 5 pounds
March goal: 2 pounds… stretch goal 3 pounds

    ☘️March☘️
1—212.4 Happy First Day of March!
2—214.0 let’s just say that crackers got the better of me yesterday. Today has been better.
    3—211.6. 🌷
4—211.4 picked up my daughter from college yesterday for Spring Break and the drive that typically takes an hour and forty-five minutes took 4 hours! #Blizzard ‘23
    5–210.9 🌷
    6–210.3 🌷
    7–211.2
8–209.6 🌷 not much sleep last night with a teething puppy, but Nova and I took a Power Nap this morning…and after seeing this beautiful number on the scale, who could be cranky? Not me!
    9–210.1
    10–210.8
11–210.8…my son and daughter have been home spending time with Nova on their spring break. It has been so nice hanging out with them. I’ve been taking a break from logging and the scale is starting a slow creep, so it’s time to get back to basics.
    12–211.6 ☹️
    13–210.3 😍
    14–210.3 happy to hold steady
    15–209.4
    16–210.1
    17–209.0 — Happy St. Patrick’s Day! 🍀
    18–209.1
    19–209.6
    20–208.0 🌷First Day of Spring!🌷
    Happy Spring!! 🌷💐🌹🌸💐🌷
    21–207.5
    22–207.8
    23–did not weigh in
    24–208.1
    25–208.9
26–208.4 … time to stop the slow creep.
    27–208.3
    28–209.4
29–207.7… Hard to believe it’s almost April… we had snow flurries for a little while this afternoon!

03/30-DNW-(Trend Weight DNW)- I’ve been approved to stay off the bp med Lisinopril (for now at least). We will monitor my bp and see how it goes. I am allowed to go to rehab today so exercise is approved though I should be careful because we don’t yet know how my bp will react. I am still taking a different bp med in the morning. I’m going to continue to let my body stabilize over the next few days but I will try to continue to track and log my foods. I usually don’t track when I go out of town as it’s too confusing, but the days I’m home will not be a problem. I’m still pretty bloated but can start back on my water pill on Friday according to the cardiologist. That will give me such relief. My ankles are ridiculous!

    I’m Jill. 🥰
I’ve just turned 53, I’m 5’7” and I live in Michigan. My hubby and I have 2 kids in college… my son is graduating in May and my daughter is a freshman. Both kids will be home for Spring Break so I look forward to a full house.

    My goals for March:
    🧹Spring clean workout
    📝 Continue to log consistently
🐶Puppy-proof the house for our upcoming furry baby
🥗 Continue the high-protein, lower carb, lower fat plan

    January weight lost: 7.7 pounds
    February weight lost: 5 pounds
March goal: 2 pounds… stretch goal 3 pounds

    ☘️March☘️
1—212.4 Happy First Day of March!
2—214.0 let’s just say that crackers got the better of me yesterday. Today has been better.
    3—211.6. 🌷
4—211.4 picked up my daughter from college yesterday for Spring Break and the drive that typically takes an hour and forty-five minutes took 4 hours! #Blizzard ‘23
    5–210.9 🌷
    6–210.3 🌷
    7–211.2
8–209.6 🌷 not much sleep last night with a teething puppy, but Nova and I took a Power Nap this morning…and after seeing this beautiful number on the scale, who could be cranky? Not me!
    9–210.1
    10–210.8
11–210.8…my son and daughter have been home spending time with Nova on their spring break. It has been so nice hanging out with them. I’ve been taking a break from logging and the scale is starting a slow creep, so it’s time to get back to basics.
    12–211.6 ☹️
    13–210.3 😍
    14–210.3 happy to hold steady
    15–209.4
    16–210.1
    17–209.0 — Happy St. Patrick’s Day! 🍀
    18–209.1
    19–209.6
    20–208.0 🌷First Day of Spring!🌷
    Happy Spring!! 🌷💐🌹🌸💐🌷
    21–207.5
    22–207.8
    23–did not weigh in
    24–208.1
    25–208.9
26–208.4 … time to stop the slow creep.
    27–208.3
    28–209.4
29–207.7… Hard to believe it’s almost April… we had snow flurries for a little while this afternoon!
30–207.2 Today is my son’s 22nd birthday. 🥰🎈I’m off for the weekend to celebrate!

They are some Christian work out that I use on you tube but I don't know how difficult you want mine are low impact because of my knee.

Hi, everyone! I am a 45 year-old female. I am 5'4" married with four kids and a new full-time job since January. Physically, I am a two-time cancer survivor, I have Hypothyroidism, and Plantar Fasciitis. I struggle with planning meals, overindulging in carbs, not finding time to exercise, and being consistent, but I have a good heart and am always grateful for every moment I have, even the frustrated ones. Lol!

    My goals for March:
    ☘️C25K program 3x week - Walk 3xweek
    ☘️Strength Training 3x week
    ☘️ZUMBA Saturdays
☘️Pre-plan meals and log food everyday
    ☘️Take thyroid med everyday
    ☘️Increase Water Intake

    January starting weight: 189.4 lbs
    February starting weight: 187.3
    March starting weight: 192.1

    01: 192.1
02: 193.6 - Stress eating due to feeling out of control and overwhelmed after husband's cervical surgery.
    03: 192.1
04: 190.7 - Looking forward to Zumba class today to shake out the stress.
    05: 191.6
06: 192.5 - Most likely water retention from sodium and my training. Not gonna stress.
    07: 192.5
    08: 193.1
    09:193.3
10: 194.4 - I understand why this number is here. I have to keep pushing through this tough time.
    11: 195.3
    12:194.0
    13: DNW
    14: DNW
    15: DNW
16: 190.7 - Another tough week. Mom in hospital, friend's son died, husband's recovery. oy.
    17: DNW
    18: DNW
19: 193.1 -Lots of traveling. Haven't taken my thyroid medicine regularly.
    20: 192.5
    21: 191.8
    22: 191.6
23: 191.8 - I am happy to see that my consistent lunch equals consistent scale.
24: 192.0 - late dinner, but still in this new consistent range.
25: 193.6 - This jump must have been from either sodium or carbs from the pasta last night.
    26: 193.3
    27: 193.6
    28: 192.7
    29: 192.5
    30: 192.7
31: 195.3 - Blaming this on sodium and carbs. I completed a HUGE project at my new job and celebrated by ordering Haitian food - stewed chicken and peppers, black rice with pigeon peas, and cabbage. I came home for dinner and my husband had made Indian food using pre-packaged sauces and items. I will try to focus on pushing my water intake today.

I usually don’t track when I go out of town as it’s too confusing, but the days I’m home will not be a problem. I’m still pretty bloated but can start back on my water pill on Friday according to the cardiologist. That will give me such relief. My ankles are ridiculous!

03/31-DNW-(Trend Weight DNW)- Snow/Rain mix today. Very gloomy. Babysitting DGS today so that will brighten things up a bit. I’m so happy for no travel today. I can take my waterpill, follow my eating plan without (restaurant) complications and try to get in a bit of fitness (as my grandson allows!). I really need “normal” today.

    @gomifune - Such an accomplishment - congratulations!

Thank you so much! I’m feeling motivated and the support of the group is a key part of that. I really look forward to sharing my weigh-in each morning and keeping up with everyones progress - it’s so inspiring!
