My name is Donna. I am 62 years old and I live in the Midwest of the US. I am 5β 5β tall.
Start Weight (from Feb 28, 2023 ): 191.6
Goal Weight: 186.6 (5 pound loss)

Ultimate Goal Weight: 145-155 (Iβll know it when I get there!)
Weight in blue makes me blue because itβs a gain. Weight in fuchsia pink makes me feel cheery because itβs a loss. Weight in black means no change.

03/22-188.2-(Trend Weight: 190.1)- Itβs been a very hard week as my blood pressure has dropped too low. Iβve been afraid to exercise as it raises during then severely drops under normal circumstances and with it running on average about 81/41 that could be deadly! I stopped one of my bp meds until I see an improvement. It has come up slightly. If I donβt see a return to normal soon, and the ability to take my meds again I will have to call the cardiologist which is very far away. So my diet has stayed on point but my exercise is null and that is really slowing things down. It makes a bigger difference than I even realized! I am thrilled with the improvement in my trend weight. It is a reflection of my dietary changes and I just couldnβt be happier. I am down several pounds this month. I donβt think Iβll meet my goal because of the lack of exercise which, in the end will affect the second half of the month, but I am still losing a little and the trajectory is good. I love seeing all the progress and comments in this challenge!
03/29-DNW-(Trend Weight: DNW)- I am still struggling with some health issues. Bloated due to the inability to take my water pill prescribed for my heart condition. Abstaining from weighing until my bp issues are settled and I can properly take my meds and exercise again. Supporting all of you in your personal efforts and goals! You are doing great! Keep moving forward toward those dreams!

Thanks for this challenge! My name is Rebecca and I live in St. Louis. Iβm 43. I started intermittent fasting at the advice of my doctor and I love it. I lost 20 lbs quickly and then have stalled mostly do to falling back to some bad habits. So here we go.

Maybe you could just give the $20 to the non-profit and skip the burger? Or find someone to share it with?
Do you have a food scale? If not, treat yourself to one. A digital one that weighs in grams can be found for twenty bucks. Then when you put your dinners together, you can track the ingredients. It's actually pretty easy, and then you can eat many wonderful things, but just not too much of them.

I go out to dinner with family as a treat each year to enjoy burger month. Yes I could skip it but we're suppose to be able to enjoy life. This is times that I can enjoy the offerings of our great restaurants. I also donate to charities without eating food. I have a digital scale and know how to use it. I've just fallen off track a bit that's all. Enjoyed food a bit too much....during the cold & ugly winter/spring it's a comfort. Warm weather is coming so I'm not worried. Thanks.

Hiya, last month was my first full month back on MFP after reaching my goal, then regaining 26lbs in a year.
Losing weight is hard, gaining weight is far too easy. This time I'm not quitting as soon as I get there, this is for life!

Trend weights are 7 day moving averages
March 1: 151.4 (trend 153.5) Starting the month with a 1.4lb drop overnight, so I have used yesterday's weight of 152.8 to decide my goal weight for the end of the month, giving me just under 1lb a week loss to aim for.
I'm also tracking my trend weight to help smooth out pesky water retention.
March 8: 151.8 (trend 152.4) Not happy with this weight, but I know I have been doing everything right so I have to have faith in the process. I had some excesses over the weekend but have made up for it over the last few days. This is 1.2lbs up from Saturday so I'm feeling a bit frustrated. I've been doing a lot of heavy lifting, so hopefully this is just water from muscle repair. At least my trend weight is down 1.1lbs.
March 15: 147.2 (trend 151.0) Big drop over night, but I'm not getting excited about it as I'm almost certain it's just dehydration. Yesterday's weight was 150.6, so that's a more realistic number. 2 more weeks to try and get to 148 but I'm away in Portugal for the last week of this challenge so I'm expecting to gain rather than lose.
March 21: 150.2 (trend 150.6) Going on holiday for a week so will skip next weigh in.
March 29: (trend) DNW
March 31: 149.2 (trend 149.7) Very relieved to have a loss even though I was away and indulging in the evenings. I did my best to stay active and easy mindfully and I'm happy to see that it didn't derail me. Back on plan today with gym and tracking calories. I didn't make my goal weight but I'm not that bothered as I have been building muscle with weight training. Looking forward to joining in again in April.
