05/01-193.0-(Trend Weight 192.2)- I’m just not in a good space right now. The whole round has been bad for me but the last couple of days has been no willpower whatsoever. Pretty depressed and gotta get out of this funk. Gotta pull it together. See you next round where it will hopefully be better for me! Congrats to all of you who had scale, fitness and NSV’s.
05/02-193.6-(Trend Weight 192.3)- The madness must stop! When I saw the scale I just wanted to crawl back into bed and put my head under the covers. I would love to get outside but it’s just too cold. Snow yesterday and today. It wouldn’t be northern Michigan without snow in May, right? I’ve got to cut the snacks and do some inside workouts. Maybe a little dancing will lift my spirits while burning some calories.

Hello, I'm Darlene. I'm 62. I Married, and have one kid (28) and one pup (Monty), no grandkids. I have been retired since 2020. My husband was retired, but returned to work in January. I vowed to take this year to lose weight, get healthy, give up some bad habits, exercise, read more, etc. I started a few challenges last month to see which ones I liked, this is one that kept me accountable so I am back! Looking forward to see what May brings!

@ddainiak Darlene-Im curious (and this has nothing to do with your posts or weight or anything, just curious) what we’re the other challenges you tried? Or ones you liked if you don’t want to say?
I belong to the Less Alcohol thread (I think that’s support not a challenge) and it has made such a difference in my life. I used to love the 10 day challenges and would like to get back to it but for now this one is just my speed.3 -
@joans1976 I am a huge Harry Potter fan, and am in the Hogwarts challenge. I'm really loving it. It keeps me accountable and motivated. You are put in teams and the teams compete to win the "house" cup. You get points for completing tasks, some mandatory, some optional. Since I don't like to let the team down, I do them all. The tasks aren't all weight related - some exercising, some nutrition, some relaxing. I'm starting the Biggest Loser Challenge today. It looks like it will be similar to the Hogwarts challenge, and there will be some overlap; but think it's doable for me. It's just me at home everyday and it gives me something to do instead of sitting on the couch. The last one is similar to this one (Spring 2023 weight loss challenge), but you weigh in weekly instead of daily. I like this one better.3

05/03-193.4-(Trend Weight 192.6)- A slight drop which I’m quite sure I don’t deserve. It was a good food day yesterday until the late night muchies set in. I hope the scale doesn’t tip in the next few days as a reflection of my lack of willpower lately. Every time I try to steer this boat smoothly, I end up sailing right off the deep end . I need to keep typing my weight in pink!
05/04-193.6-(Trend Weight 192.7)- Well there is that sneaky little increase that was hiding from the scale! So glad it’s only 0.2 !!! I had a great food and exercise day yesterday. Stayed on track and watched all my p’s and q’s. This too shall pass.
