๐ Welcome all new first timers to this challenge and "Hello again" to those returning for another month, another year, another round. ๐
I joined back in September of 2021, which was my first month back on MFP. In the first 9 months, I lost 40 pounds and use this challenge as motivation to stay on track. It is nice to have a medium-term goal that gets broken down into manageable chunks.
Pick your own goal, check in once per week, and at the very end of the month. Let's keep encouraging each other & staying focused on our individual goals.
You can change the dates to suit you, but try to keep it weekly as it shows off the weekly progress better๐
Pick how you want to weigh as in lbs kgโs or stones
Feel free to copy & paste the chart:
May Start Weight:
May Goal Weight:
Ultimate Goal Weight:

For those unsure how to do your weekly weight input:
When you want to do your weekly update do a search for your original post, copy and paste as a new post in the add post box then you can edit in your new weekly weight. A lot of people also maintain their post in a notes application on their device and just cut and paste into a new post.
Itโs not a race go at your on pace, imagine where you could be in 6 months time!๐
Best of luck to everyone - have fun! ๐๐

I'm in for the first 2 weeks of May. After that I'm off on a 2 month camping trip around BC. We camp at provincial parks which have no wifi and some no cell phone service either. I'm hoping that I'll keep up with the challenge on my own but report in mid-July with a large downward swing. Good luck to everyone.5 -

I only posted once in April because I was away almost all month. I left on 30 March headed for Arizona then spent 23 days rafting and then got home on 26 April. Even though a Grand Canyon raft trip includes lots of activity every day, I managed to add some mass because there was very good food and too much of it. It's OK. I've been here before. Technically I'm still in my maintenance range, but I'm pretty much at the top.
I will attempt to get back to the middle of that range in May and then get back to maintaining there. I'll still claim several months in maintenance even with the weight increase because my average weight hasn't quite gone out of that range as far as I can tell.7 -
Hi, I'm attempting to return to MFP after over a year away having suffered some unexpected medical issues requiring major surgery. My symptoms last year and recovery from surgery have led to my inactivity and so I regained much of the weight I had lost over 7 years ago. I am basically starting all over again and could really use the group support now. Thank you!

Hi, I started recording my food again 1 week ago and feel I'm off to a good start losing a lot in the first week. This is my second attempt this year; the first one got interrupted after a month with a very stressful family situation that took another month to resolve. I eat when stressed and gained everything I had lost back. Hopefully this attempt will last a lot longer.

Thank you, @enlightenme3 !
I'm Chris - 72 year old female...5'5" ...I used to be 5'7" but arthritis hit and I lost two inches, so now that two inches is squished around my waist like the billows of a big accordion...
...Oh, well. I'll just keep working on it.

Hiya all, I'm Rowan. My weight has been up, down, and all over the place over the last 10 years. I gained loads during the pandemic then managed to lose over 40lbs in 2021. I regained 26lbs in 2022 by taking my eye off the ball, it really doesn't take much for me to gain weight! So back again, working on getting back to a healthy weight and building my strength and fitness.
Ideally I'd like to be below 130lbs as that was my weight in 2015 and I felt good, but I'm a lot older now and it's hard!
