Heaviest weight: 175.4 in early 2013.
Original MFP starting weight (January 2018) - 168.2
April 28 (Starting Weight): - 148.0 (10-day average 145.2)
May goal - Get back to middle of maintenance range, then maintain current weight
Ultimate goal - Range between 138 - 148
I report scale weight and (ten day average weight), and I post on Saturdays.

Total loss for May It looks like May has been a bit of a failure for me. Instead of maintaining and getting back to my goal weight, I gained fairly consistently the whole month and likely will end the month almost ten pounds heavier than I started. I have some options. I can get back after it. I can revise my goals like I was thinking about doing for a couple years when I maintained about this weight which is in the healthy BMI range. I can give up. I will choose one of the first two options.

But my main problem has been depression and just simply not putting the work in. It doesnโt happen all by itself. Iโve got to pull myself together.
05/29-194.8-(Trend Weight: 194.9)- Travel yesterday. A big family BBQ today for the U.S. holiday. Do the reasons to eat off plan ever end? This is supposed to be a day of honoring our fallen heroes. Not a day of stuffing my face with food! Thank you to our Veteran's who never made it home and to all who have served.

May 9: 113.8 Losing 1kg a week at the moment. Feels good.
May 16: 113.4 Been behaving but weight not dropping as anticipated. Still any loss is good.
May 23: 113.3 I donโt think Iโm going to make this months target.

So happy I started losing properly again after a couple of disappointing weeks. I havenโt changed my diet or exercise so I think my metabolism must have improved instead.5 -

Hiya all, I'm Rowan. My weight has been up, down, and all over the place over the last 10 years. I gained loads during the pandemic then managed to lose over 40lbs in 2021. I regained 26lbs in 2022 by taking my eye off the ball, it really doesn't take much for me to gain weight! So back again, working on getting back to a healthy weight and building my strength and fitness.
Ideally I'd like to be below 130lbs as that was my weight in 2015 and I felt good, but I'm a lot older now and it's hard!

I didn't get anywhere near my 2.8lb goal this month, but I'm fine with that as I have been keeping up with my strength training and walking targets, and my body shape is changing and getting stronger. I really want to push harder next month as I have a holiday in Portugal in 3 weeks and want to feel my best, so I'm going to give it everything I've got!
