Bumpy ride

Life over the past 2-3 years has been tough for most people, increased work load, hours and pressures, the gyms closed due to lock down. It real hard to bounce back especially now I'm 50. The 10kg gained is proving real hard to move. So, I'm looking to the community for motivation (both ways) to help each other get back on track. Please connect if you feel the same way, and a support network is what you need!
Cheers

Hello, @Ayd_M, and welcome to the Community!

If you're looking for a support network, one possibly useful thing would be to join one of the threads in the Challenges part of the Community, direct link here:

    https://community.myfitnesspal.com/en/categories/challenges

There are lots of different options/flavors, and you can read their intro posts and see if any sound suitable for your needs. They can be a good way to meet like-minded people to add on the MFP friend side of things, too.

I'd also add that quite a few people here have been successful after 50, so there's reason to be optimistic. I joined at 59, lost from class 1 obese to a healthy weight, and have been at a healthy weight since, now 67.

With patience and commitment to a solid plan, you can succeed, too!
