    I'm not happy! The guy is a rubbish casting, there are plenty of men on MFP who I personally imagine to be more like Christian gray than the actor they have cast , not right I tells ya!

    Was so hoping it would be Ian Sommerholder. Don't think it will be any good anyway. They would have to make it an X-rated movie to keep to the book so I'll probably just keep it all in my imagination and not waste my money seeing the movie.

    I agree with a lot of this statement. I'm ok with Charlie Hunnam. He is HAWT!!! I am a huge fan of Sons so and have had the pleasure of seeing his butt. He is a very nice piece of man meat. I have no clue who Dakota Whatshername is though.

    But what you said about the movie, and it being a waste of money, you're right. I agree about how it'd get an X rating. And truly I can't see how the movie would do the book any justice.

    For anyone who actually wants to know (and, I'm ashamed to admit I already know this), Dakota Johnson is the product of Melanie Griffith and her first husband Don Johnson (from Miami Vice fame).

    I had a completely different idea of who would be cast, but I suspect the people I would've liked probably didn't want their names attached to a 'reported mummy porn' novel/film like this.

    Though I did not picture Charlie Hunnam in this role when I read the books I have to say I will probably still enjoy the movie because lets face it he is Hott and I would let him do some dirty things to me. Hahahaha

    Just to let everyone know, there already is an x-rated porn version of 50 Shades of Grey...it was AVN's award winner a year or two back, I believe.

    I sell it to A LOT of soccer moms and Mormons in my neighborhood. Yep, spreading kink one white picket fence at a time...

    Never bothered with learning about the book, mainly cause I'm already in the grey in that department. But might need to check it out now.

    This book is awfully written and neither my wife nor I could get through it. There are plenty of other good examples of erotica out there to read that are MUCH better written.

    i really really really tried to read this book. i got to the first sex scene and was so turned off i had to stop reading it. there is so much better erotica out there. while i've only dabbled in the bdsm lifestyle, i know its a hell of a lot more erotic than the trash in 50 shades. seriously.

    I'm just glad that my beautiful men Ian Somerhalder, Matt Bomer & Henry Cavill wasn't dragged into this mess & casted. That's a win all on it's own. Besides, the Crossfire series is beyond superior than this over hyped crap.
