I'm back. I've been MIA for the last month as I've gone back to work and needed to figure out a reguar schedule. Now that I have a regular work schedule I should be able to weigh-in and post on Tuesdays.
I need to get back to tracking my food and exercise Actually just need to start exercising as I haven't really done any for over a year except walking at work...lol....
We have a 3 week Hawaii holiday planned for Feb and would like to be down 20lbs by then.
This could be very challenging at this time of year with Holiday parties, Christmas baking Chocolates(especially Purdys) and of course Christmas dinner. I will have to do some careful meal planning for the next few months.
First weigh in will be on Tuesday.
Good Luck Everyone5 -
Thanks, @RubyRed427 for posting this for us!!
Hi! I'm Chris - 72 year old female...5'5" ...I used to be 5'7" but arthritis hit and I lost two inches, so now that two inches is squished around my waist like the billows of a big accordion...
...Oh, well. I'll just keep working on it.

Good morning,
Just restarting MFP. Looking for a group to commit to. I’ve lost over 40 lbs but they are starting to creep back on. Not sure how to really use this forum, any suggestions4 -
I am a 5'3" retiree and started tracking again with MFP in January 2022.
My final goal weight is 145.
Highest weight as of 1/3/22: 230 lbs
Previous weight as of Oct 27: 156.7
Nov 4: 156.5
Glad to see so many joining us for this round! Thank you once again @RubyRed427 for setting this up.
Have a great week!

Thank you Ruby for continuing this challenge.
So some of you know I took Wegovy from April 1 through the end of August, so 5 months. I lost 21 lbs then went off of it. I never intended to stay on it long term. It is wildly expensive and also, you know, its a drug I probably don't need.
I have gained back 2.6 lbs which is really not bad considering the horror stories I heard when some people go off it and gain it all back.
I have given up alcohol which I think is keeping it in check. Alcohol, plus the mindless snacking that accompanies that. I am trying to get my 10 k steps in every day too.
Won't we all be happy come the new year that we started our weight loss journeys early? I know I am!
Best of luck to all!6 -

We will go to London in 1 month to visit our daughter that we haven't seen in 2 years. This is motivating both me and my husband to be and look our best. We do not want to scare her by looking old and unhealthy! WIth this in mind, I am trying to make good food choices and walking every day as I know we will be walking all over London and I do not want to get tired.

I would like to be 150 or less when we go. This sounds doable as long as I continue to walk and exercise portion control.3 -

Hi my name is Beth and I live in Louisana, USA. I am married with 3 children (24, 22 and 15). I will be 48 this month and am working on a goal of Fit by 50. This challenge sounds great and will get me below my original goal of 125.
