Weight loss contest
Sherri from BC.
Start weight 192 lbs
3 month goal 175 lbs
Feb holiday goal 170lbs.
Final goal 150 lbs
I think 10lbs loss is reasonable for me during this holiday season.
Last weigh in Sept 25 183.4
First weigh in Nov. 7 185.4
November 14 185.4
No loss but I'm ok with this as I ate way too much this week and thought for sure I would be up. Just finished all the leftover Halloween chocolates so should get back on track this week.

11/01-181.2-(Trend Weight: 184.5)-
11/07-183.6-(Trend Weight: 184.3)- ) Scale weight is up from last week but trend weight is down. I guess that best shows how the week went, pretty up & down due to travel and a family birthday. I’m back on top of things now that I’m in my “safe space” – Home. Someday I hope to transfer all my good habits to everywhere I am, even when the choices are limited. I throw it all out the window way too easily.
11/14-182.6-(Trend Weight: 184.1)- I was out of town for 2 days including an overnight and gained my usual travel weight from restaurants and sitting. I’m working it down now. I will be doing a ton of traveling from now until after Christmas. Especially with Christmas shopping since I am from a very very rural area. I really need to learn some travel manners! My goal was to lose 4 lbs this month and get myself firmly planted in the 170's. Instead, I am fighting tooth and nail just to get back to starting weight. And there's Thanksgiving, one of the biggest food holidays of the year looming just ahead. It is right there between me and my goal. No one said this would be easy but Sheesh!.......

I've now been off Wegovy since August. I lost 22 lbs and gained back 3.4 since then so that is not terrible. I've been eating candy but been off all alcohol since mid October so at least not indulging in those empty calories.

I feel like this is totally doable. I just need to continue to be mindful of portion control and evening snacking.4 -

Ok, I'm in. My goal here will be as the title says "15 pounds". That seems easy enough, but with the Holidays I may need some encouragement.
I've been here (MFP) before and did great, really improving my over-all fitness and losing 45+ lbs along the way. Ultimately, my MD was like wow, your numbers are great! Not that there were any significant issues...just trending higher (or lower) than best case. I was doing great. And held that weight for a couple of years. Then things changed, I got sloppy about tracking my fitness and such, COVID came along and we all went into a bit of a funk. Not being careful about my overall fitness (mental and physical) caused my arthritis and such to flare...well, you get the story, we have all been there haven't we? So I am back on track (have been for a bit), hoping to stay with it much, much longer.

Welcome to our new friends!! I am so happy you have joined us. I like being on this challenge for accountability. I also love learning from you and being motivated by you. I am still doing low carb. And for nearly 3 weeks no wine! Just some gin and sugar free tonic. I think that is making a huge difference. My hubby and I used to drink several bottles of Sauv Blanc or Pinot Grigio each week - I cringe to think of all those calories which are basically sugar. And I have had no sugar for 3 weeks (no cookies, pies, candy etc.) We had Friendsgiving at work and I ate some cheese and salami and some veggies and dip. I would have had many cookies throughout the day and of course a piece of pie.
I'm in a good place mentally. I had a rough October and now November, I am feeling good.

@bduanemyfitness Hi! Sorry about your arthritis! I'm happy you are here. True, tracking is the key. Or at the very least weighing once a week.2

Giving up candy is the next goal. I have to if I want to maintain/lose a little more weight. Had a wine slip (I had been off all alcohol for 20 days) but back on track with that now. I know on Thanksgiving we all will probably eat more than we should but we should cut ourselves some slack and not be hard on ourselves.3
