They are filled and you can't see them from the front. Same for John. If they were easily visible, or causing infections, I would have to do something about them.
Much love to all, Heather UK xxxxxx
When they got the tooth and main root out of my husband's mouth, they discovered that there was an abscess at the bottom of the root. An infection no one knew was there!
Infections in the mouth can cause heart issues so I am glad they persisted and got the tooth out and abscess cleaned up. He's on antibiotics now.
I'm hoping this might make him feel better in general.
I've had so much dental work done. It's an ongoing battle to try to keep my teeth. Although some days I wonder about giving up and going to dentures.

Hello!
It's been over a week since I have been able to check in, so I'll have to take time to get caught up on the 311 posts since then!
Trip to Minnesota for my niece's baby shower was amazing! Such a pretty state! I had a great time helping my sister prep for the shower. She also turned me loose in the Mall of America one day while she had to work for a bit. Hit my step count that day!!
Came back from MN with a cracked molar. Not a fan of dentists, so navigating the way between a dentist, oral surgeon, and dental insurance is nerve wracking. I'm about to the point where I just want to let this thing rot in my mouth rather than deal with it all.
As for good news, I have been enjoying my new camera. I'm trying to stay away from the automatic functions and use more of the manual features, something I wasn't really good at 14 years ago when I last had a DSLR. I found a good group on FaceBook and bought a Dummies book for my camera model. Thought I was getting the hang of it, but then took a bunch of pictures of my dogs last night that were all black! Almost thought I left my lens cap on.
Make it a great day!

Terri - Happy Birthday!
Beth - thinking of you, hoping your physical symptoms are just pre-surgery anxiety. Good luck at the doc's.
Machka - ouch, sorry to hear about the dentist visit for you and your DH. Great to see your energy has returned and you and your DH are advancing with the fencing.
Lisa - thank you for the organ recital regarding the Watchman and blood thinners. Nice that you got to see the handsome doctor. Good luck with the VA. Crossing fingers the Skyrizi does the trick.
Vicki - good that you had an employee who made it 5 years and I understand about not wanting to attend a function. Hope the recognition dinner was short and sweet and you were able to get some relaxation time at home.
Sue - very happy that your Afib is better now that toxic tenant has flown the coop. The Seattle Symphony was just what you needed.
Carol - sorry you have lost your friend. So nice that you kept in touch with her all throughout the years.
Rebecca - love the hair styles! You'd look great in cuts like that - though I think your current style is very becoming. If I knew of a good stylist I'd give a short one a try.
Debbie - I checked on the Medicare.gov website, and PAP smears are covered. So it's good that those of us in the US who are on Medicare will continue to have the costs covered if we still need to get them.
Comment on female cancer in older gals - both my mom and my grandmother (her mom) had endometrial cancer in their mid-80's, symptom was bleeding. Both had surgery and radiation. Grandmother sailed right through it and lived a healthy life with a sharp brain for 7 more years until she suffered a stroke at 92. My mom, who was already starting down the road to dementia, complained of abdominal pain in the ensuing years. I have a hunch it was due to the effects of the radiation or adhesions from the surgery.
As far as I know, PAP smears are not generally used for endometrial cancer detection as they are geared toward cervical cancer, but it's up to us and our doctors to determine if these tests are useful after age 65. We are all different and looks like continuation of PAP smears is advisable in some cases.
Heading out in a bit to run errands. Need to drop off DH's old computer and monitors for recycle, buy new outdoor Muck shoes, grab some pasture seed and organic potting soil and hit the library. Then some mowing this afternoon. It's about 33F right now, need it a few degrees warmer to move the tomatoes back into the chilly greenhouse.
Have a super day, ladies!

I’ve had an SLR camera since my now 45 YO daughter was born. I took a home course for it back then and got pretty good, then I stopped using it. Once I sold it, years later, I went to a Sony DSLR. Still needed to use the settings to get decent pictures, so re-read everything I could on settings and about the DSLR. Was without an SLR for a while then started traveling with the RV. Bought a Cannon Rebel and a couple of lenses. I don’t use it nearly enough since we settled here at Bottomless Lakes, but still pull it out once in a while. Took some ‘cool’ pictures of the October eclipse with it, even without the proper lense! Took the pics through the eclipse glasses, lol.
This is making me want to take it back out and get used to it again! I really should. I spent a lot on the camera and lenses.

No one has seen the Prince since Cinderella disappeared and the rumors are rampant!”

I will come up with the descriptions for the ‘Mystery’.

Rita, It feels so good to have it back in my hand again. I bought a Canon EOS Rebel T7. My previous one was a Canon, 1D maybe? I've been a Canon girl since I got a SureShot in 1985 as high school graduation present from my grandmother.
What's this a murder mystery? Sounds fun!

Rebecca ... I forgot to mention that I liked the short haircuts. Just a caution if you go short though ... styled short hair requires more frequent hair appointments.
Annie ... I've been bouncing through the same 10 pounds for over two years now and I'm tired of it. I know what I need to change but don't seem to have the stick-to-it-iveness right now.
Feeling silly about this doctor's appointment today ...
Beth
I didn’t find that to be an issue for me with my short hair. I just had a different style when it was starting to grow. But I will say this, it is a b&$ch to grow out if you want to grow your hair out again. Now that I have, I want it shorter again.

Well that was fun! They had moved their shop so I wandered around a bit before I found they had moved a street over. You would've thought they told me they had moved!
It feels better. I will have to get it trimmed more than once a year, huh?😂

Worked then cleaned our deck since it’s supposed to get cooler later in the week.
Allie – our cats always loved the laser pointer. We could sit, point the laser, and the cat would run like crazy after it. Would tire them out, too
Terrri – happy birthday!
M – so sorry to hear of all you tooth problems
Linda – so sorry about your tooth
Rita – Love, Love, Love the beginning of the story. You have me on the edge of my seat waiting for the next installment.
Rebecca – love the haircut. You look so much younger

Thanks! That's always a perk.😁. I was feeling my longer hair dragging me down, and at night it was getting in my face. Sure I could put it up, but that just made my scalp sore. This will be better for my problem complexion.👍🏼

Had another great walk around the wetlands. Nice breeze through most of it. Glad I had my water bottle in the car.
Need to figure out dinner- Most likely it will be corned beef and ??(some veggies).
MFP says I ate 604calories so far and earned 609 for exercise(walked twice plus yard work at MIL's house). I don't eat those calories- stick at 1100 no matter how much I exercise.
Tomorrow at this time I will be heading up to moms with my car full of tomato plants plus a couple dragon fruit plants to share with her and my friend who is coming to help me plant her greenhouse.
I will be up there until Monday afternoon. Will check in after I get home.

Well, I went to that meeting at the church. It was about getting a background check for all volunteers. I highly doubt the church is going to pay for a background check. My guess is that it's probably around $50. I am NOT going to pay to be able to lector or count the donations. Heck, I volunteer at the soup kitchen where I have more access to children than I do lectoring and I don't have to have a background check. Then my stomach really started to hurt. Vince thinks (and this makes sense) that perhaps it has to do with the fact that it was really warm today and I was exerting myself cleaning the entire deck. So I left early. I just want to take a shower and maybe watch some TV then go to bed.

Rebecca-I do like the haircut. I am fortunate that my beautician is much more cost effective. However, a good cut is worth the money-you are worth it!
Michele-here in Ohio churches also are to have background checks. While some may think it is silly, when sexual predators are released from prisons they look for churches with active youth groups. It is surprising how quickly a predator can violate a child-not unusual for it to be in a room full of people with a child on their lap. And it doesn't have to be a male. Many break it up by what role the volunteer has and there are safe child programs where no on person is alone with a child ever.
Worked food pantry this evening. Weather was perfect. People were very pleasant. We served 208 people. There is so much need.
Have to go into office for 10 am meeting. Will stop at grocery on way home (I can use some vacation time). Funeral at church on Saturday I help helping serve dinner at so that will free up some of my weekend time.
Lower back which went into spasms Tuesday noon is slowly getting better. Just keeping doing stretches and using lidocaine patches.
Take care all,

We have the normal Super Cuts here, but those are quick haircuts and this gal had a lot to cut off! Its a nice treat for sure.👍🏼💖. Also the Super Cuts here does not wash you hair or really style it. So it was nice to be treated with that.

Rebecca cute hairstyle. Glad you are happy with it
My hair was starting to get long when the pandemic started and hair salons shut down. I haven't had a professional cut since. I have trimmed the ends myself a few times. I like to to tie it up in pigtails with colorful scrunched.

Rebecca - Love the cut, I think it suits you.
Interesting day. Went into town for the exam by the doc the VA contracted to look at my knees. Basically she told me my knee's torched. I knew this. She measured my scars, had me bend my knees and measured the bend, asked a few dozen questions and sent me away. We'll see how it all goes.
Exhausted is an understatement.
Later, y'all,
Love,

I will help at the food program with mom on Saturday. I love helping. Getting up before 4am is rough(I don't sleep well most nights up there-sleeping on the couch) but it is so worth it. Most are so happy with what they get.

I cut my own hair too- simple. Put it in a braid and trim the bottom inch off and done.
I wear it down when it is freshly washed and super curly, otherwise, it is up or in a braid(it is past my waist when wet, middle of my back when curly)4 -

I'm surprised the soup kitchen doesn't require the background checks. They probably will soon.
Here you can get a Working with Children and Vulnerable People card which involves a police check and several other things.
I have mine!
I was happy to go through the process to get it and had no worries about getting it.
And I think it is an excellent idea and I am glad to hear that your church is putting something similar in place.

I have started wearing 2 long braids, one on either side, similar to that. They worked well for Fencing. But I don't like my hair touching my ears when I have it up, so I use barrettes to keep it away from my ears.
