Hi there y’all! I’ve been on this weight loss journey about a year now. 16 months ago I had a stroke caused by an artery dissection and I nearly died. I gained a bunch of weight being bed rest for a few months and finally decided to take my life back in my control! I am down 68 lbs from my highest and certainly on the right track to recovery but feeling a bit stuck now so any support or accountability in fitness, diet or mental categories will be helpful!
Thanks!
Thanks!

Hurray for you taking control! 68 pounds is fantastic! Rome wasn't built in a day and you won't lose it as fast as you'd like. Your body has been through a lot. Treat it well! Weight loss will come. Patience and inner peace.0

Wow that is quite the journey and an incredible story to your recovery. See you have kiddos? I’ve got two that are my main motivating factors in finding my path back to a more balanced life that reprioritizes my physical and mental health. For a long time, I was trying to do the work on my own. Hoping for some community connections and accountability here and also trying to let my kiddos in more to be part of my journey too.0
