    My herbal tea nights turned into wine nights :# Tea tonight for sure.
    @NonnieDoiron sorry to hear the new job is so stressful, but you've managed to keep up a nice streak of AF days despite that stress - WTG.

    @NonnieDoiron ...good AF stats in spite of stress !!

    @Michieb125 ...Oh, the fambly dwama...Stay Switzerland !! 🇨🇭

    Eldest Daughter went back to Louisiana last night. When she left home last month there was 1 Husband, 2 outdoor cats, 4 indoor cats, 2 dogs.
    Last night there were 2 outdoor cats, 9 indoor cats, 3 dogs, and 1 husband, {currently in doghouse}. One of the indoor cats had been "mis-gendered" at birth , thanks to the stepsister from #@!! who abandoned her/him when she left town. 5 " totes adorb " little one day old surprise kitties. And a German Shepherd puppy that DH just had to rescue from a co-worker who was mistreating her. The indoor/outdoor doggies, outdoor cats and one of the indoor cats had all been "fixed". Since all of them were female [AFAIK] there was no tearing hurry to "fix" the last 3...$$$.
    Thank goodness they have a huge house and yard..."Houston, we have kittens....". Literally. Facebook adoption posts coming soon. DH is currently not included in adoption posts.
    Since ED had been complaining about sweeping fur tumbleweeds, I Amazoned her a robot vacuum, not knowing
    how much it would be needed.
    ED and her DH do not drink, but tonight I uncorked a bottle of Chianti while listening to multiple phone calls from them about the latest updates...First A in 6 weeks so there is no chance I'll finish even half the bottle.
    And Catpuccino says "Absolutely NOT !! " to getting one of the mango colored Louisiana surprises. Such a spoiled brat.

    34 days AF. I have not strung that many days together since July 2012 when I did a month. Today, however, I was missing wine. Not craving it exactly. More like feeling nostalgia for those care free days of yore. Well as I have said, Dr.'s orders no alcohol for a while. But I have discovered Waterloo seltzer makes some nice mock tail drinks like mojito and all day rose. They are delicious.

    Happy Father's Day to the Dad's out there :)

    Awesome work Sunny!!! I'm so happy for you. It must be a relief to wake up each morning and have no regrets!! <3

    Goals for June = Half the month AF
    S-Th: AF or LA >Limit to 10 ounces (or 2 glasses) = LA
    Fr - Sa: Use my best judgment
    End-of-Month Goals
    AF = 15
    LA = 7
    A= 8

    AF = 3
    LA = 2
    A = 12
    As of 6/17/2024

    @michieb125 ~ I'm with you.... not doing great, but showing up...that's me! I was AF last night and aiming for another tonight....one day at a time.

    @annliz23 ~ sorry to learn of the death of your son's best friends. My condolences.

    @Womona ~ sorry to learn of the death of your husband's close friend. My condolences to you as well. Thanks for the feedback on the low alcohol wines. I enjoy the full bodied wines, even pino noir can be a little light for me. I'm better off without even trying as they (low alcohol ones) just make me mad! Great progress on your "one a day".

    @doccnm ~ I have that issue too as my husband does drink. But you're right, it's on me to hold my own. Sometimes I'm good but not always. I find that if I just put something in my hand (non alcohol) it helps to stay strong.

    @SparkSpringtime69 ~good job not giving in.

    @nonniedoiron ~ you are doing very well, especially with all that you have going on. Hope the job gets a little less crazy.

    @michieb125 ~ I hate when family issues cause disruption. I've had several years of this and the expense of my sister who passed last Sept. I was thinking today how I could help mend the fences.

    Thank you, @itladyee. I’m trying hard.

    I was talking to a friend today who has always been encouraging to lay off the wine. I hadn’t seen her in a couple months, so I was giving her a run down of my vida loca. She literally said, “Girl! Go get you a bottle! I need it for you!” 🤣🤣🤣

    Hubby and friends are almost done building the ramp to our front door for when MIL returns. He also started his radiation treatment today. And MIL decided to start our morning off dramatically at 5:30 by calling to say the rehab facility “refused to give her oxygen”.🙄🙄🙄🤦🏻‍♀️🤦🏻‍♀️🤦🏻‍♀️ God, help me!
