    10/21-191.4-(Trend Weight: 192.5)- I’ve made a few mistakes and had one day of travel this week but I’m still very pleased with the progress over last week. Keep going Donna! You can do this!

    10/28-192.2-(Trend Weight: 192.2)- An expected uptick from the travel and new restaurant yesterday. It was very nice that my oldest daughter and her partner decided to meet us. Food was good. I brought half home and ate it last night for dinner although it was very late. I expect to shed the excess over the next day or two. I have been running at around 191 on the scale so this is a bit of a jump! Bread.

    @alxduncan2643 No need to be nervous... use your delight boost to make a plan B (and maybe a plan C) to deal with whatever distractions might come up this week! You got this.

    I had major surgery at the end of September, which of course came with a bit of weight gain due to fluid retention. My goal is to slowly get back to the weight I was just before the surgery (188.4 lbs) but not lose any more weight until the end of the year, in order to give myself time and energy to heal fully. Doctor’s orders :)

    Well, this month did NOT go as expected. Major life stresses all piling up. I hadn’t used food as “comfort” in quite a while, but I did this month. (And no, it was not in fact comforting… it was nothing more than my brain doing a compulsion. It’s good to recognize that. And it’s done now and I’m back on track.)

    I'm Chris - 74 year old female...5'5" ...I used to be 5'7" but arthritis hit and I lost two inches, so now that two inches is squished around my waist like the billows of a big accordion...
    ...Oh, well. I'll just keep working on it.
    My husband and I are retired.
    I see my trainer for 60 mins three days a week and try to walk the other four days. The walking doesn't always work out.

    *I lost a bit of weight by changing my habits eating at restaurants. I only eat out if I am with others and typically order one entrée, no sides or soup and salad
    *I quit drinking cream/sugar after 2 cups of coffee..most days and cut down on wine/beer and buying cake, cupcakes
    *Also, I have a meal plan with vegetarian meals at least 3 or 4 days per week. I have my meals logged in advance every week, usually around 1500 calories per day. (I'm short 5'2). I try to stick to the plan, but not counting calories anymore.
