    I'm 36 years old, 5'3. SAHM to two beautiful toddlers, both with some special needs. Life is crazy, but I'm doing my best to make the most out of life for myself and my family.

    Day 92—01/26— 150.6. I ate waaay too much yesterday. Not bad food for the most part and I tracked everything. But it was just too much.

    Day 93—01/27—149.0. Ran a 10k race (yay!!). Food was pretty good. I did end the day with 2 beers, but they fit in my calorie budget.

    Day 94—01/28— 147.6. I'm very happy with this number. Food was okay, but a little too much. Took a rest day from running.

    Day 95—01/29— 147.2. Maybe this will be the week I finally get under 147.0.

    Day 96—01/30— 147.8. Food was pretty good. Did an outdoor walk, but no treadmill run. I hope I'll be able to run tonight. Life keeps getting in the way.

    Day 97—01/31— 147.8

    Day 98—02/01— 147.9. I didn't go to the gym at all this week. Responsibilities at home kept me from going. But that's life. It was probably good to rest anyway. But I think I should be able to go today. Fingers crossed.

    Day 99—02/02— 147.6. Finally went to the gym for a 60 min run on the treadmill. Food was also good. A near perfect day.

    Previous and Future Weeks
    Previous days' notes were lost when I got a new phone and my notes didn't get carried over. Copying and pasting from an old post proved to be too troublesome, especially for something that no one really needs or wants to re-read.

    Day 36—12/01— 148.7. I was expecting my weight to be up from my sick weight yesterday, but wasn't expecting this much. I ate yesterday, but still well under my calories as I wasn't feeling great. Oh well.

    Day 37—12/02— 149.1 :(

    Day 38—12/03— 148.3. I'm happy it came down a little.

    Day 39—12/04— 147.9.

    Day 40—12/05— 146.7. Woo-hoo! I'm super excited for this new low. Hopefully it'll stick for the end of the week goal

    Day 41—12/06— 147.0. I feel like I'm in the zone right now. I'm motivated, my healthy habits are taking hold and becoming routine, and I just feel like I'm doing things "right". I know this feeling won't last forever, but I'm going to try to hold on to it for a few more pounds at least.

    Day 42—12/07— 146.4. My boys are spending the weekend with Gramma, so I'll have some more time to myself today. Have some errands, chores and things to do, but hoping to also have some down time for Me Time and maybe a little extra at the gym.

    Day 43—12/08— 145.5. Hmmm... I'm dropping weight a bit too fast. Almost 2 pounds in 2 days? A bit of a woosh may have been building up, but I also think I'm a bit dehydrated. I haven't been focusing on water the last few days. So I'm going to try drinking more today, and see if my weight evens out a bit.

    Day 44—12/09— 147.2. I drank more water yesterday, putting me around where I think I should be. I gotta stay hydrated.

    Day 45—12/10—147.7. Took the day off from the gym, but went for a walk. Calories were just a smidge higher than I would like them to be. Going to pre-track my food today.

    Day 46—12/11— 147.7. Anxiety was pretty bad. Exercise was pretty scarce yesterday. Eating was okay.

    Day 47—12/12— 148.0. I was really tired yesterday so took it easy, again. Food wasn't the best. I'm going to do better today.

    Day 48—12/13— 146.4.

    Day 49—12/14— 148.0. My weight was everywhere this week. I'm just going to take this week's gain with a grain of salt.

    Day 50—12/15—147.9 . I had a few drinks last night. I'm surprised my weight isn't up more.

    Day 51—12/16— 150.4. My food choices were horrible this weekend so this is not much of a surprise. I'm back at it today though.

    Day 52—12/17— 150.8. Well this isn't good. I'll do better today than what I've been doing the last few days.

    Day 53—12/18— 149.7. Today's goal: no Christmas cookies.

    Day 54—12/19— 150.5. Well, I had Christmas cookies yesterday.

    Day 55—12/20— 150.2. Gotta pull myself together. Today will be better.

    Day 56—12/21— 150.7. I did much better than the previous few days. Bummer that the scale doesn't recognize that.

    Day 57—12/22— 149.8. trying to control my eating a bit more.

    Day 58—12/23— 149.5. I'm sick. Going to take it easy for today.

    Day 59—12/24— 148.9. Another easy day. Still sick.

    Day 62—12/27— 148.0. Finally starting to feel like I am getting better.

    Day 64—12/29—149.1. Christmas with my mom today. And then I HAVE to get back on track. Still have a pretty good cough, but hopefully that clears up soon.

    Day 65—12/30—148.6. Christmas is officially over for me. It's time to get serious again. Exercise is still going to be limited due to my lungs still getting better, but there's no reason I can't get my diet under control.

    Day 66—12/31— 149.5. :(

    Day 67—01/01— 149.0. Happy New Year!
    December was pretty much a wash. I had some success earlier in the month, but landed about where I was at the beginning. At least I'm not up. Onward and downward.

    Day 68—01/02— 150.2. I logged everything. As bad and as far over as it was, I at least logged it. Today will be better.

    Day 69—01/03— 149.5. Logged and stayed under calories. Also went to the gym for a walk/run on the treadmill. Trying to make the positive changes to see the results I would like.

    Day 70—01/04—149.5. Food was okay yesterday, but could be better. I fell asleep on the couch instead of going to the gym, but did get a walk in earlier in the day.

    I missed my goal for the week by a lot, but I have my habits going in the right direction and I'm sure the scale will be on my side soon.

    Week 10 Goal: 147.0
    Week 10 actual weight: 149.5

    Day 71—01/05— 147.8. I don't really trust this woosh, I feel like it may be temporary. I ran a 5k on the treadmill as well as some walking. Food was within calorie goal, but there wasn't much good nutrition in it. I'll have to do better.

    Day 72—01/06— 149.5. I ran 5k and did some walking on the treadmill, totalling an hour. But food was less than perfect.

    Day 73—01/07—149.6. I guess "you can't be upset by the results you didn't get from the work you didn't do" applies here. I've been doing okay. Food hasn't been horrible, but not great. Exercise has been decent, but not enough to offset the not great diet. I'm guessing this is about maintenance, since I've been averaging mid 149 for a while. Time to tighten up the diet (I'm sure I've said this a lot lately, but I'm serious this time, the lack of results is starting to frustrate me.)

    Day 74—01/08— 150.0. Food was better, but still room for improvement (I don't need crackers when my boys snack!). Exercise was good, outdoor walk and ran 5k.

    Day 75—01/09— 149.5. Food was pretty good. Exercise was good - outdoor walk and ran 6k.

    Day 76—01/10— 148.9. Food was good. Exercise was good- ran 6k

    Day 77—01/11— 147.8. Food was good. Exercise was a 5k run

    Week 11 Goal: 147.0 (Going to keep this as my goal until I reach it)

    Day 78—01/12— 149.5. Beer and pizza while watching the game last night. Hopefully a little will drop off soon.

    Day 79—01/13— 148.8. Ran 10k. Food was okay, though a few too many wasted calories on food with little healthy nutrition.

    Day 80—01/14— 149.7. Grrr. I'm really having a hard time getting this number to go down and stay down.

    Day 81—01/15— 149.3

    Day 82—01/16— 148.3. Good eating, good exercise. Hoping I can stay under 149.

    Day 83—01/17— 149.5

    Day 84—01/18— 148.0. Good with eating and ran 10k on treadmill. I'm really going to focus on staying on track over the weekend.

    Day 85—01/19— 150.4. Grumble, grumble.

    Day 86—01/20— 151.3. I thought I did okay yesterday. I did end the day with one beer, and couldn't get to the gym because I had to stay home with the kids. But I thought eating was decent enough. Not sure it deserved a pound increase.

    Day 87—01/21— 149.1. Happy to see it come down a bit. Food was good, I went for a walk but wasn't able to get to the gym again.

    Day 88—01/22— 147.5. Woo-hoo, I'm very happy with this woosh. Eating was okay, but some extra snacking did creep in. I went to the gym to run a 5k on the treadmill.

    Day 89—01/23— 148.4. Happy it's still under 149.0. Food was just a smidge higher than I would like, I really have to work on being just 100-200ish calories lower. But exercise was good, with a 45 min treadmill run.

    Day 90—01/24— 148.4. Happy this number is sticking around. Food was good and I ran for an hour on the treadmill.

    Day 91—01/25— 149.0. Food was good, did a short run on the treadmill. I'm going to focus on not falling away from my goals over the weekend, which tends to be a weakness of mine.

    Day 99 2/2 I'm visiting my neice today & they don't have a scale so can't weigh in Celebrating my great nephew's birthday so lots of party food cake & prosecco.

    Beginning of Round Thoughts:
    I am Sick and Tired of being Sick and Tired. I mean, I am LITERALLY both Sick with many ailments and Tired of putting myself through this back & forth! I weighed 181.6 on January 1st, 2024. This has not been a good year for me. How much progress I can make in November, December and January is very very questionable, at the very least. Those months are riddled with holidays, baking pies and cakes, making cookies and fudge. Lots of decadent dishes high in calories and carbs. And lots of shopping excursions away from home which always include restaurants and long car rides. So many celebrations including multiple family birthdays as well! These are the hardest months of the year for most of us. But I’m not throwing in the towel just yet!. I will do ALL I can, As I can, When I can. Life is going to happen and I will definitely live it, but there are lots of days where progress can still be made and/or damages can be mitigated. I must stay steadfast and strong in my resolve. This is about my health journey, not just my weight journey. I will not give up based on what month the calendar page is on!

    Day 98-02/01-191.8-(Trend weight 192.3) I was starving at 2:00 A.M. after dozing off for a bit. Usually I grab a “legal and healthy” snack, like an ounce of nuts. Not enough. Now an ounce of cheese keeping it low carb. Not enough. A keto snack bar, still not enough, and so on and so on. This time I didn’t fall for adding that ungodly amount of calories and unexpected amount of carbs. I grabbed a bowl of healthy choice chicken noodle soup and probably a tad too many crackers and ate a proper extra meal. Satisfying without breaking the bank. I’m up a few extra ounces today but nothing I can’t flush out if I apply myself today. I will definitely be pre-planning and pre-logging. Nipping it in the bud! I got this!

If I can just push through a night or two I would be allright. Humph….. Up 0.8 from starting weight. I would love to end on a positive but it will take a good pound or more to do that overnight. I don’t know how possible that is in my current position/struggles. I will try to have a good day including snacks and let nature take it course.

    Day 92—01/26— 175.8 - Forgot to post earlier. EAGLES WIN! SUPERBOWL BOUND! Will catch up with everyone tomorrow.

    Day 93—01/27— 176.4 - Not much happening today except the dog got his routine visit to the vet.

    Day 95—01/29— 175.8 - It's SO windy! The temps are mild but I got blown around out there. For some reason, food holds no interest for me today.

    Beginning of Round Thoughts:
    I am Sick and Tired of being Sick and Tired. I mean, I am LITERALLY both Sick with many ailments and Tired of putting myself through this back & forth! I weighed 181.6 on January 1st, 2024. This has not been a good year for me. How much progress I can make in November, December and January is very very questionable, at the very least. Those months are riddled with holidays, baking pies and cakes, making cookies and fudge. Lots of decadent dishes high in calories and carbs. And lots of shopping excursions away from home which always include restaurants and long car rides. So many celebrations including multiple family birthdays as well! These are the hardest months of the year for most of us. But I’m not throwing in the towel just yet!. I will do ALL I can, As I can, When I can. Life is going to happen and I will definitely live it, but there are lots of days where progress can still be made and/or damages can be mitigated. I must stay steadfast and strong in my resolve. This is about my health journey, not just my weight journey. I will not give up based on what month the calendar page is on!

    Day 99-02/02-192.4-(Trend weight 192.3) IF successful. Disciplined lunch. Disciplined dinner. Too many “approved” snacks. I can’t seem to fill a craving at night. If I can just push through a night or two I would be allright. Humph….. Up 0.8 from starting weight. I would love to end on a positive but it will take a good pound or more to do that overnight. I don’t know how possible that is in my current position/struggles. I will try to have a good day including snacks and let nature take it course.

    Day 100-02/03-…..(Final Weigh- In)-194.2-(trend weight 192.5) Gosh how I hated typing in that weight today at the end of our 100 days of efforts. I do believe that part of it is fluid retention due to not having my Lasix yesterday. However, I know that my night time snacks have gotten out of control lately (since the holiday flavors!) and part of this is definite fat. I am still keeping my meals within range and clean. It’s just overdoing those “approved” snacks. I continue to work on it and will not give up. I will continue to pre-log what I PLAN on eating during snacks and hope that I can get closer to that goal as quickly as I can. I am quite sure that many of my summer clothes are too tight now. Good job to you all for showing up and for putting so much effort in your health and weight goals. Thanks to all for sharing your journeys with me. I am inspired and learn so much! I look forward to challenge #22 where I plan on making better progress than this round. It’s my pledge to me! See you tomorrow!

    Day 92—01/26— 175.8 - Forgot to post earlier. EAGLES WIN! SUPERBOWL BOUND! Will catch up with everyone tomorrow.

    Day 93—01/27— 176.4 - Not much happening today except the dog got his routine visit to the vet.

    Day 95—01/29— 175.8 - It's SO windy! The temps are mild but I got blown around out there. For some reason, food holds no interest for me today.
