Introduction

I'm not exactly new to My Fitness Pal but I am returning after a lapse of about a year. I am looking forward to cultivating new, healthier habits while incorporating a few more exercises into my week. I'm a 44 year old grandmother, who loves sugar, salt, and any kind of sour candy. I had a bit of an addiction to Cokes and I smoke cigarettes like I'm a locomotive train plowing down the tracks. All of these are things that I am in hopes of changing or swapping out for anything healthier. My goal is to lose the 100 lbs that I packed on at the start of my menopause. I want to look and feel better, be more confident, and all around feel more love for myself. I also want to live a long life watching my grandbaby grow. My biggest issue is not having more of a variety of fruits and vegetables in my diet so I'm getting bored with the same old thing, my lack of drive to exercise, my lack of energy, and not exercising enough. If anyone would have any suggestions that may help me in these areas, I am all ears and all are welcomed. Thank you for being here to support my journey and I look forward to the plan ahead.
