To everyone that responded about my pup, thank you πŸ™πŸΌ.

I am realizing that I don’t get a notification for every reply/quote/tag. I got notifications for two but saw as I was scrolling through that many more of you responded. Thank you! And also I’m sorry if I ever missed a response from anyone. Didn’t realize this was a thing.

If what they find is indeed dysplasia, they said there’s a 60% chance the surgery fixes/improves his current lameness (he walks with a pretty bad limp). 1% chance it makes it worse. He may end up with arthritis, need pain management, and reduced activity. Shouldn’t affect his length of life but definitely impacts quality of life. Just want him to be pain free and live his best life. He doesn’t understand. He’s 9months old and just wants to be a puppy. Poor guy.
    Hoping for the best. πŸ™πŸΌ

    Notifications are weird on here.

RE: Pup - our daughter and her boyfriend bought a yellow lab (when in college) and the ad said β€œhips guaranteed.” Well, the breeder didn’t honor that six months later when she was diagnosed with hip dysplasia. She was fine after the surgery. Sending healing prayers for your pup.πŸ™πŸ™πŸ™πŸ™πŸ™

Similar issue here. Breeder has a health guarantee and this is our second dog from her. If we wanted to go that route I believe it said in the paperwork that she could either choose to pay for some of the cost or give you a new puppy. Our pup has been through so much with this already we’re not going to put him through the second option. Plus the thought of having to go through another puppy phase a third time in a row… I am not built for that lol.
I am very happy to hear that your daughter’s dog did well after the surgery! πŸ™πŸΌ definitely gives us hope for this guy.

    Round 282 88.8 kg
    Round 283 88.4
    Round 284 87.75
    Round 285 87.55

Day 1, Fri 87.5, eating = good, 30 minutes running on treadmill
Day 2, Sat 87.7, median is 87.6 which is above the last round. I'm running 5 kilometers today so I'll keep my food at the same level. I ate a kilogram of peas yesterday, and my itchiness due to eczema has reduced. Apparently it's due to chlorophyll and peas have a lot of chlorophyll. I'll have another kilogram today.
Day 3, Sun 86.8, median is 87.5 just below last round. The peas have worked, my itchiness has dropped by say 2/3. I'm not sure how often to have them.
    Day 4, Mon 87.2, median is 87.35
    Day 5, Tue 87.2, median is 87.2
    Day 6, Wed 87.7, median is 87.35
    Day 7, Thu 88.0, median is 87.7

    @Skyleen75 :
I find barre class to be brutal, all of those tiny little movements. But I love anything where I get to laser focus on form. It’s a good balance to other workouts.

Agree about barre- it's brutal, but the good kind- I always dread going and feel better when I"ve done it!
