Building muscle after workout - vegetarian

Hello! I'm pretty active already, I bike to work 5-6 a week (40 minutes total) & I work out with exercise classes 2-3 days a week depending on my work schedule. Typically these are Pilates bodyweight/light weight classes or Yoga.

My biggest issue is I often don't eat anything to help build my muscle back after my exercise so I'm not maximizing the benefit of my activites. I'm not adverse to doing whey powders or creatine but I prefer to have soild food opposed to liquids. I just know for my longevity I will get sick of powders because it's happened before. There are only so many shakes you can drink before you want to throw you blender bottle out the window.

Do anyone have any suggestions on some vegetarian protein based solutions? Or Can anyone link me any articles or posts that may help? I'm sure this not the first time this has been asked. Thanks so much!

    As context, I've been vegetarian (ovo-lacto) for over 50 years, active athletically, lost weight with MFP back in 2015-16, and have continued logging in maintenance since, still at a healthy weight. Though there's nothing wrong with them theoretically, I don't find protein powders or bars tasty or satisfying, nor do I like modern faux meats, so I don't eat those. In maintenance, my daily protein minimum is 100g, and I usually exceed it by a good bit. I hit a little lower than that when losing weight, since fewer calories in play, but still 80s-90s. I do get a good bit of my protein from dairy, since I love it, but I think I could do the same fully plant-based. I think the advice in the post linked could apply to any vegetarian. Just my opinions throughout, of course.

    P.S. I'd suggest taking the creatine, personally. Potentially useful, fairly inexpensive, IMO relatively low risk. Can be especially helpful if vegetarian.
