Iβm so devastated. Iβve gained 4kg in 2 months. I stopped the ozempic weight loss injections and Iβm gaining so much weight. I feel itβs over for me. I canβt stand being a fat person but Iβm gaining so much weight and donβt know how to stop it. Iβm hungry all the time. Iβve been exercising again at least - managed 3 walks last week and plan to walk 3-4 times this week. Must not gain more weight. Sadly itβs Easter this week and I love hot cross buns and chocolate bunnies so Iβll be eating them on Sunday. Will try and be careful with calories the rest of the week.

April 13: did really well with food and logging. Spent the day running errands and managed to get in 6.301 steps. Didnβt get in a walk because the wind was blowing like crazyβ¦Poor dog thought she was going to blow away! π€£

Hi All,
I'm very happy to be joining you all again for April.
I'm 5'2", working on getting to my goal weight and then staying there. I will tell you all that this month will be different for me. My goal for the month is not really to end up with a loss, but to LOG. In our world, Greek Orthodox Easter (Pascha) is the center of the universe, and there is a lot of feasting. There's a lot of fasting before Pascha, and a lot of feasting afterwards. So when we get to the days and weeks after April 20, I will be continually surrounded by copious amounts of amazing food, and that's great. But I have decided that this year I will continue logging no matter what events are going on in life (until I've been at goal for a little while anyway). My plan is to set my logging to maintenance for the end of April and to just eat at maintenance; even a little over that is OK sometimes, as long as I keep the logging habit.

Perhaps tomorrow or the next day will see me back on the scale. Snow expected today and tomorrow here in Michigan. SOS appointment today to renew license becoming Real ID compliant. Time to renew tabs before May birthday anyway. Keep your fingers crossed for me that Iβll pass the required eye exam with my eye issues including (but not limited to) that hole in the back of my right eye. Seriously worried.

Nearly flunked the eye with the side vision part but found my head was not square on the head pad so it wasnβt me. It was my eyes. So relieved! In regards to this journey of mine, I would love to say that Iβm going to have a great week but I really donβt think Iβm there yet. So much to focus on right now after this Storm of the Century. April 14: was a bit surprised this morning seeing this number. I met my calorie goal. But was I was under on protein and over carbs by more than planned. Did my hour yoga class as usual, so Iβm going to have to correlate the carbs to the pounds. Not a huge jump, but I also havenβt been at 136 for awhile so certainly something for me to evaluate and be aware of.

AS tempting as curling into a ball and never leaving the house again is Iβm going to try and not do that. Iβm depressed and itβs really hard to not fall in a pit. I ate nearly a whole box of Guylian seashells last night but managed to not gain. Iβm still having severe bloating so itβs making me feel disgusting. Iβm very self conscious being overweight.

π°π°π°π°π° 04/16-DNW- (Trend Weight: DNW) I have Dentist cleanings for myself and son today out of town. Will get in any necessary shopping while away too since the prices and offerings in a city are much better than our one rural grocery store at home. I have my horror stories about the dentist that I wonβt elaborate on. Without going into details, letβs just say that Dr. prescribes me a βchill pillβ specifically for the dentist visits. The script is for like 6 pills in the bottom of the bottle and renewd once per year. I usually take it, even for a cleaning. Dental trauma is very hard to overcome especially if it goes all the way back to childhood, and then some! Happy hump day everyone!

Stupid bloody weight. Darn sick of struggling. I gain so easy and have to work really hard to lose anything. Wish I hadnβt stopped ozempic. Iβm constantly hungry now and the kilos are piling back on really fast. Itβs just too expensive at the moment- $140 per month.

π°π°π°π°π° 04/17-DNW- (Trend Weight: DNW) I had the Chinese Buffet yesterday during my travels. Chinese food is a rare treat for this rural girl. I can definitely feel the bloat today on top of all my recent gains. Itβs like adding insult to injury. Iβll take my Lasix today and look forward to it helping release some of the water. Dentist appointment went well. No cavities.

I ate so much yesterday. Depression does awful things to me. Oh well. This week hasnβt been great. My mums moving in 2 weeks and I wonβt see her again for many months. My eldest is also moving really far away so I donβt know when I will see him again. Nor will I get to visit my coastal home town frequently anymore. This last visit was the last time we will be together as a family and that makes me so sad. My youngest has a girlfriend now too so I barely see him, Iβm just alone all the time with nothing to do.

I can definitely feel the bloat today on top of all my recent gains. Itβs like adding insult to injury. Iβll take my Lasix today and look forward to it helping release some of the water. Dentist appointment went well. No cavities.
π°π°π°π°π° 04/18-197.0 β - (Trend Weight: 196.7) Down nearly 2 lbs since the last weigh in. Oh, but that trend weight! It is the Ye in βYe of Little Faithβ. Iβll start turning that around as best as I can but it is Easter Weekend. I will work hard to convince it that Iβm going to do better! I went to bed last night after finding out about a shocking death in our community. The lady that had the stroke about a year ago. I had taken her to her physical therapy a few times. I thought she was doing somewhat better. She is quite a few years younger than me, a hard working well known person in our community, and a wife and mother whose children my own children were very very close to. Iβm not sure exactly what happened, it was totally unexpected. I am praying for peace for her family. I hope everyone who believes and celebrates will have a wonderful Good Friday. Let us Never Forget.

April 17: calorie intake was okay but protein was low. My mom has been sick for the past 4 weeks. Test after test and still little to no answers. I have been prelogging and sticking to it for the first meal of the day, but not the 2nd (larger) meal. I also have not been sticking to the pre-planned snacks. This is keeping me at floating along and not swimming like I should be. Stick to plan Donna! Yes, you are extra busy but that is Exactly what the pre-planning is for! I'll forgive myself for yesterday as I had a bad sugar drop which usually brings on quick frenzied eating. But all the other daysβ¦..Um, no.

Happy Easter Everyone!! Just finished our Easter brunch. We came home from church and much to my surprise, my 21 yr old son had everything made and it was delicious! I did well with fruit and eggs, but did indulge a bit with a mimosa and a Monte Cristo slider. Leaving soon to take my daughter back to college, so Iβll be spending the next 5 hours in the car. Hope everyone had a blessed day with family and friends.

π° π° π° π° π° 04/21-195.0 β - (Trend Weight: 196.5) Easter was very simple this year due to the ice storm issues at each family members houses. Of course, we made sure that all the grandkiddos got their gifts from the Easter Bunny. Dinner was simple but, as you might expect, salty. I plan on drinking lots of water today. Weight is down today on the scale. Iβm very pleased as I was extra thoughtful of my partaking yesterday and it looks like it paid off. However, we all know it sometimes shows up a day or two later so Iβll be keeping a watchful eye. Tomorrow is family dr appointments for son and I. We will go out to lunch afterward as is his habit. They will be checking our glucose numbers. It wonβt be pretty. I expect a scolding.
