Accountability Post/ Introduction

Good afternoon all,
I am creating this post to keep myself accountable to ensure I stay consistent with my goals. Someone once said that if you make your intentions out in the public you are more inclined to keep your goals. I am going to introduce myself.
My name is Katie and I am from New Jersey originally but for the last 5 years I have resided in Miami. I am 33 years old and i have been on a weight loss journey for 10 years. I have lost weight in the past but that was short term as i gained all the weight back. Within the last 6 months i was under the supervision of a physician and tried Qsymia and I did manage to lose 20 pounds but after that stopped working I discontinued the medication. I am starting to see myself slowly gaining the weight back and I am trying to work on losing the weight again. I have PCOS, obesity and non alcohol fatty liver disease and I am trying to lose the weight now before anymore weight related diseases I could obtain. I also am losing weight to feel better in my clothes and when I look in the mirror I am proud of myself.
I want to make a post at least weekly to keep myself accountable that i am working towards going to the gym 3 times per week and tracking my food daily.
If anyone resonates with my post, feel free to use this post as well to remind you of your goals you are working towards and have yourself an accountability partner. No one should feel they are alone in this journey. I am here to listen for anyone who is struggling or would like an accountability partner.

I am new to MFP, so still learning the platform. But your post definitely resonates, it seems like we have a lot in common! I am 31, from the northeast and my goal is to hit 7K steps daily, workout 3x/week, and log all my food. I would like to stay within my calorie range as I always go over, but also maybe plan out my week ahead of time to see if that will help. My SW: 224 / CW: 209 / GW: 150. I got down to 194 and gained 15lbs back... It shows, especially on my face 😣 I don’t feel good with myself, so hoping that being here helps me get myself together. I struggle with sticking to things and being impatient. I want to eat well for like 2 days and see a major difference 😂🤦🏻♀️ so when I don’t, I get discouraged and just say screw it. I’m really trying to work on that! Anyway, I am rooting for us! 💪
